    I love the little squirrel. It's a perfect find considering you've got Squirrel Buddy! That Peltier and the glowing marble were well worth the trip. That buckle you found at the river was an awesome find. There's some good stuff coming out of the dump. 💖💯

    I really liked that clear multi-color marble. As for Pepsi bottles---I just don't know anything about the vintage or antique bottle market. I liked that little hobnail perfume (or whatever) bottle better, but that's just me. Nice video, thank you, I LOVE figurines like that one you found.

    A great old spot closer to the house. I went back and watched those two suggestions when you were to the left and right of that spot. That's pay dirt right there. Good luck with all that you do. The weather is great here in Carolina.

      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea...it is probably the best "area" I can go to for the possibility of good stuff. The only bad thing....man Horace that stuff is deep. I found a weird heaton agate in there last night...and real nice old ACL soda bottles started coming out. I found a few nice ones

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found another one in there yesterday that is nice. It is just slow going on this area because the trash with marbles in it is so deep. I have a ton of just digging to do...just to be able to dig the marbles. Lots of concrete in there too in the ground....600 plus pound pieces. LOL...Figures

    not sure if you know this but uv lights in 365nm are more concentrated uv and work so good you dont have to turn out the lights to see the marble glow. they can damage yer eyes easier and not good for the skin either so use caution.

    Hey bro when your surface hunting what’s your best pointers for what your eyes are scanning for. Like what I’m trying to say is I have trained my eyes to see certain shapes or colors when I’m on an ancient site searching for stone tools. But I have only ever found a few points that way. Like I don’t know if I just need to train my eyes to see flint cause they are more attuned to tools. I find loads of celts grinders ect. One thing I have yet to find is a nutting stone also. I have thousands of tools. Not one nutter. That’s odd as well eh. I did just find a killer bone white true bird point not long ago but if I find five points a year that’s a lot. Now I am not in ideal areas like u. I’m searching more of excavated farm fields where they pan out dirt to build retention ponds and then spread the dirt out over sites. Real sandy stuff so what I find is nice. I can tell where they were knapping cause the soil gets coarse and loaded with the white material but it’s ground up almost into a sandy loam. I find lots of small tiny sometimes tools for working the clay pots too. Just not the points. I can’t figure it out man. Has to be my eyes is all I can figure. Most would say who cares about points when your finding axes and hoes and hammers and grinders and clay toolings. Lol and I’m like I’ll trade ya lolol. Any help would be greatly appreciated Brother. I wish I could spend a day with ya on the river lol. I used to go with my pop when I was little. Wish I had of paid greater attention to him. Hard for a six to teen to do that that has adhd in the 70s from all the acid and pot mom did while pregnant lolol. But anyways another great video. I guess maybe it’s just the area I’m in and I need to get the boat out and go up river on a couple day camp trip and really look good. I have lots of points from the Delaware Bayshore just past the nuclear power plant on Nj side south to cape may. But most of what I find has been worn so bad it’s barely recognizable as a point. Lot of granite points. Some chert but very little. Older stuff. Salt really does a number on em. So I stopped going there after five years or so and have a lot of stuff just average though. I wanna find nice ones like you do. It’s that time in my collection to really focus on quality sites. ✌️✌️✌️

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well You are not going to find many points laying out on the river. In order to find points on a regular basis. You have to go where you have found points...and dig. And have multiple places to do that. Surface hunting....you are walking all day long....and 8 hour day. With the hope of 1 perfect artifact. That is what it amounts to.
      Digging on a place you have found arrowheads *Sifting".....You are hoping for 1 nice artifact per hour,
      You want to dig man

    Hey Chris, my daughter found what appears to be a copper spear point up here in northwest Ohio metal detecting. Is that possible?

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of of course. There was a Michigan Copper Culture. Look up "Michigan Copper Arrowheads" "Michigan Copper Artifacts"...... Read about it.
      If there is 1.............there are more.

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you start metal detecting more of them. Make sure you start filming. Film the one you found......then if there are more native american "copper artifacts". You need to document it all and put on a video. You will get an idea of what you have after you look that up. I know a "little" about copper artifacts. The best thing to do is go to "Arrowheads.com" Sign up....it is FREE. Post a photo of your copper piece in the "Forum: there.
      You will get opinions from multiple people who are arrowhead collectors. It is the way to go.

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will want a collector from "Michigan". That is where the copper is from if it is a copper arrowhead. There will be a guy that viists that website that has found MANY copper arrowheads. And that is the guy you want to find.
      I have never found a copper spear. To far south.
