- Lowering the 2024 Ford Maverick AWD! This truck looks so good now that it sits down where I wanted using the Eibach pro spring kit. I highly recommend this!
Overall drop:
2 inches front
2.5 inches rear
The kit I used: eibach.com/product/E10-35-057...
Ride quality is actually improved with a progressive spring. The harshness on bumps has been eliminated but the truck remains firms as it should be. Getting in and out of the truck is even easier for me which was great.
I have not yet aligned the truck as I am waiting on my scheduled time but will update further once I do.

🤘
I honestly cannot think of a reason to NOT drop a front wheel drive pickup.
Looks awesome dude! The Maverick vids are making me want one
Thank ya! I've really enjoyed this truck so far
Lookin good!!
Thank ya!
Good jobs guys! Looks nice
Thank ya!
Looks much better BJ Clark done a great job filming and I like the sparkle through the blue paint really nice, 30 miles to the gallon hopefully it’s a big tank lol lovely truck mate wish you all the best with it take care 👍👌🔧🔧🔧❤️
It has 400 miles of range which is great! Substantially less monthly fuel cost than the F150. Like a car payments worth.
@@tangentsbhb good stuff BJ over here in Scotland I pay £1.54 a litre for diesel can be quite expensive if doing a lot of miles lol
A buddy that works at ford drives a V6 4WD and it’s lowered on bags and looks great. He does some paint stuffs. Truck looks great. I can’t wait to see yours in person.
An f150 or something else?
@@tangentsbhb sorry, I guess I forgot to fill in the blank. An F150 that he has a part in making.
Lowered F150 look damn good
You need to hire Clark! Great job dude!
For sure! He wanted to help and asked if he could film and did great!
Looks great. If hou dont mind, what jacking points did you use in the front? And where did you place the jack stands? I thought you could only use the pinch welds.
I just used the main suspension crossmember. Jack stands were near the control arm mounts again on the subframe/crossmember. Jack/place stands how you see fit on yours
Need to know if I can add a bigger gas tank to my 24 maverick XL or add one in the bed
Yup!! Amazing the difference in the stance & look now, Real Nice. How does the height difference change the ride, if at all??
😉🏴🤘🙏
The ride is actually better as the springs are progressive so not as harsh over bumps!
Looks great!!! Planning to do this to my Maverick. At some point you where supposed to cut the bump stops did you?
I haven't cut mine and wasn't aware I needed to actually. I'll inspect them tomorrow
In the instructions I read online they tell you to cut them in half.
I never even knew there were instructions lol
It definitely makes more sense to lower it, I think it looks awesome, although I like red more than blue. Lol
The hot pepper red on these trucks is 🔥 but im not a red guy. Looks amazing though
Understandable, both are still better than boring silver, and oven black. Lol
Looks good! How’s the ride compared to stock?
I like it better! Since these are a progressive spring rate the initial harshness over bumps is decreased and more comfortable. It's still firm like it should be but noticeably better over bumps
I’m getting ready to do this to mine, did you have any issues with getting it aligned afterwards?
With camber bolts you should be fine at any alignment shop. If you are awd the rear won't be in spec. A different control arm would take care of that but otherwise just rotate tires more often
I want to do this but I'm worried on how it affects the ride. Do you bottom out with passengers? Does the suspension still have enough play for a smooth ride? Thanks
No worries on bottoming out under normal driving. The ride is better than factory in my opinion due to the progressive rate spring. It's less harsh over bumps but still firm like it should be
@@tangentsbhbsweet thanks. I saw in another video someone mentioned tires rubber on the inner. Nothing like that right? Thanks again
Wondering if this voids factory warranty??
For something to void the warranty it has to be proven that the change had a direct link to the item that failed. You are safe
Just for looks good?
Yes
I like it but it needs to be lower.
It would look cooler lower but that gets into coil over territory with further modifications. Lots more work and cost
wheels and tires now....still to high....
I have wheels for it already but haven't put them on. For a daily it sits how I like. They definitely looks great another inch lower but thats much more work
