Anyone know the rules about jumps? Like why are you allowed to avoid jumps sometimes, is there just a total # of time you have to hit one? Thanks!!
@@pcd1377 im not an expert on rules, but there's not really a reason to avoid them other than if you lost control. they dont really have to slow down to go on a jump. going around a jump would actually be slower.
NoNoNoNii yes but going around the jumps means a longer distance to drive, risking rolling over or going to the grass because cars are packed in a tiny space, and breaking more because of curbs

It's actually an American invention haha, Robby Gordon (that bright orange #7 truck) more or less created the sport. Australia initiated a ban due to an accident like 3 years after they started racing there where a wheel came off and collided with a spectator bridge. It got lifted when they agreed to have less inclined ramps :/ less fun

Really? I couldn't get past 5 minutes, it's like: ok cool, trucks and jumps and it entertained me for like 5 minutes but there is not really anything happening and it just gets boring after some time. Not really entertaining on a long term.

Honestly I'm impressed by those jump ramps. They must be taking an absolute THRASHING, but you don't see any of them breaking down.
Good old non corrosive aluminum. And the trucks themselves weigh a little more than a miata. I'm sure that helps

OMG this looks so fun to race in, lmao. It's like "Hey lets get a bunch of trucks, lift them and put some soft springs on them and some jumps and run them around a circuit. Freakin great.

funnily enough, these guys are running hella stiff suspension, if they were too soft, the trucks would just bottom out and bounce instead of properly absorbing the impact... the damn things are just that heavy, and the drivers are whipping them THAT hard.

The anti-roll bars must be very soft, that’s why the trucks lean so much. Looks so fun!
These are offroad trucks that got street tyres and some camber and stiffer suspension
In every other racing discipline it's game over when you roll over. In stadium super trucks you just roll back over and join the pack again. What a legends

2023, and this SST 2017 LAST LAP is still far more thrilling than the whole 2023 NASCAR Cup Season races so far.

the "sport" is racing it has existed for a long time nobody had to pitch it, just different classes/circuits but truck racing has also been around for a long time
There was no pitch meeting, just a bunch of guys that raced their model ts. And it's grown ever since.

f1 needs to rethink their cameras when seeing this. Those cameras are insanely well placed. Super fun to watch
they have Onboard cameras looking front and back, cameras on cockpit, cameras on the wing, cameras down the car, cameras in front of the car, cameras everywhere, if they add too many, that would probably do something to the car.
F1 needs to rethink about competition, fake "antiracist" agenda(which helps to become a champion you know who), engines and other.

I've never seen another racing series where a car flips and they just roll it over and they go get back in the race. This series is so cool!

Never seen this before. It was awesome. Something so cool about the trucks flying over the jumps in the track at the same time. It is the racing event a 10 year-old child would make.
Still, hands down.... coolest sport in the world ! Stadium Super Trucks !!! Even the name of the sport is exciting !!
I love seeing such good sportsmanship between drivers. They push each other to the limit then have a good time afterwards.

I think the moment at the 2nd to last ramp, where creed moved to the right giving Gordon space to fit and jump was also pure sportsmanship. He could block opponent and let him fail at the ramp but he didn't
Love the post-race celebration between the two frontrunners. They both put up a hell of a fight and it's great to see them celebrate together

Agreed. I'm a big F1 fan myself, but when you watch 2 hour race where the leader wins by over a minute to the next guy without ever losing the position, and the results are always predictable, you know there's something wrong with the sport. Not to mention they need to bring a safety car on the track for 5 laps because of the smallest amount of debris on the road and the tyres won't last more than few laps.
This was amazing. Jumps, donuts, crashes, contacts, more jumps, close racing, solid entertainment.
Really makes me wonder what do I see in F1 😅 But I watch all kinds of Motorsports 🙂

This sport is so exciting to watch!! This is everything you look for in a racing sport! They drive fast and hard, crash and keep racing and even when the guy you're racing against is cutting corners and hitting you, everyone is still chilling and having a good time. I'm glad I found this sport finally! Any other type of racing there would be a lot of fighting after that type of racing
some times I use to watch this Stadium super Truck races and always make me feel so unreal such I was in a living Flat Out game, is surrealistic!
The talent bearing at the end of the steering column gave out 😂 mine does that too
