I love those classic Hondas. The in-line cylinders allowed for nearly constant torque and high rpm’s. I have a 1982 cb750sc in rough shape and can still best most bikes out there. The thing corners like a dream.
I think this is a more modern one, so it has a Suzuki AR600 engine. I believe some older ones did use Honda engines though. In the past, they used all sorts of random engines in these. Some even used Triumph engines. They weren't all twins back then either. There was also some big singles competing in Auto Race (the name of this specific type of motorcycle racing in Japan).
The badass #5 leans so much on those handlebars that they are very deformed. I dont know how those thin tires handle all that pressure on the side walls..IMPRESSIVE!! great job #5.👍

Yes and no. That bike was very unstable at those angles I noticed several times that he almost lost it but due to the skill he was able to keep it going. This was a great run

With the only safety equipment he could find in his home, the scrapyard, being some discarded old football pads, he emerged from his dark world to finally show the world his true greatness.

It's fully custom made to go left. Look at how even the seat is offset for better center of gravity when going left, he's sitting sideways when he's going straight after the finish.

Narrower tires have better turning radius, so more maneuverable
Lighter rotational mass means he can accelerate out of the corner faster with less power
Tire surface to weight of the motorcycle ratio probably plays a role as well here.
