extremely hard to find previously. stadium truck and trophy truck are good search terms, you will also like some of the trucks from BAJA one thousand.... and previous SCORE... short course off road.....
Now this is a racing series that I can fully embrace. Love watching these beasts come out of the turn left front wheel of the ground. This is road racing with the excitement back in the race. Move on nascar the Supertrucks are here.
I'd love to know what Robbie Gordon was smoking to come up with this as a series idea, cause these things are the most inappropriate things to be chucking around a street circuit. It's chaos, it's lunacy, it's absolutely beautiful. Glad to see the 2020 season picking up the series tradition of excellent racing.
Gordon has been doing Stadium trucks for ages, decades maybe, and there always was stadium racing since the 1970s for off-road. Gordon just went a step bigger adding it to circuit races, fairly logical progression for him with his background of Off-Road, Nascar and Indycar racing backgrounds.
Rallycross is whoever gets the start wins, no passing, no action. they even had to put a joker in the get some passes happening. As with WRC, they also need to go back to 2WD.

I feel like I've missed out on so much, because I only just discovered this, like 15 minutes before writing this comment. I gotta hand it to the Aussies, they could make a lawnmower racing series and it would be exciting to watch

Competition caution to get them all back into a racing group again. Keeps them from getting too spread out = boring. It kind of gives a second chance to someone who may have blown a turn or something. No penalty for missing a ramp if it is necessary to keep from crashing/safety.

just one of those jumps at that speed would TOTAL a stock pickup. The suspension on those trucks is amazing.
Not a round without jumps 😁🤣 AMAZING !!

The tires as well man. They can withstand some abuse.
Nah, my stock f150 could totally take those jumps
