I'm so happy that you are back! I love how this turned out. We did the same thing in our bathroom when we remodeled our bathroom. We've had it for 11ish years now and it has held up great. If you ever have issues with the drawers dragging and sticking (because they eventually will because of the high humidity environment) use some bees wax or white candle wax to rub on the rails and the bottom of the drawers where they make contact with the rails. Makes them slide effortlessly!
I love when people take old vanity dressers and make them into beautiful bathroom and kitchen cabinets! Nice job! I can’t wait to see the bathroom reveal!
😍 This is what I'm intending for my bath. I hope I find a solid & beautiful vanity to work with as well. Love your beadboard, too! Great job & thanks for sharing.
That turned out beautifully! I can't wait to try something like this when I work on my basement bathroom. My husband and I bought our first house one year ago and you have given us such great inspiration. ❤
I love this vanity! I just finished a similar project, but I used citrus strip instead of oven cleaner. Although it worked, it honestly looked like more work to use the oven cleaner because you had to do so much scrubbing. Your finished product looks great!
This is very cute for a half bath. Maybe a different mirror? A little bigger. Vintage oval? Or find a vintage wood picture frame. Strip it the same way and get a piece of glass cut for it. Just an idea.
Would love to see how you finished the inside of the drawers. How you partitioned the inside so things don't fall down the gaps you created for the pipes etc. Thanks in advance. ❤
Did you rinse this off with a hose? I keep seeing tutorials saying they rinsed off the oven cleaner that way and I’m not sure how I feel about taking that much water to wood
It’s a good video, just next time show the plumbing area a bit longer, and show more of the finish look. Looks like there’s not much storage, so it’s good for a powder room but I wouldn’t recommend this for a busy bathroom .
Am I missing something? Why use the oven cleaner if you are going to sand anyway? It seemed like a good idea if you don't want to sand I guess it would be good for hard to get to places
I want to do this in my bathroom… my question is how is the wood top holding up to being in a wet environment? I am just worried that being a bathroom sink that the water will ruin the wood.

Oh wow! Such an amazing tip!!
@@OurLittleNest nylon tape works great too!!

Omg I loved this! we’ve been renovating our 150 year old house and I definitely want to try putting this in our basement near the washer and drier 😍
Oh wow!! Your house sounds like a dream! It just have so much character😍😍
The color it ended up being was perfect!
I’m so glad you like it! I went back and forth a bunch of times with the color so I’m glad to hear that!
It came out so nice. So happy you are back. Missed you.
Missed you guys more!!
Did you do anything to the back of the drawers after you cut them? How do you keep your stuff from falling out the back?
😍 This is what I'm intending for my bath. I hope I find a solid & beautiful vanity to work with as well. Love your beadboard, too! Great job & thanks for sharing.
Oh awesome!! These pieces are so unique and fun!
I’m obsessed!!! How creative!! I love the deep sink too and I love that you wear the faucet in the corner. It all came out so pretty!!

Aww thank you!!
It’s really a beautiful vanity...
As always you paid so much attention to every detail...
And it looks GREAT...!!!!!
Thank you so much for also showing the part about cutting the draws for the plumbing! Was so curious of that!
Looked amazing!!! Glad you are back.
Thank you! So happy to be back🤍
I so love this!!! I have always considered doing this but have stopped at simply putting the vanity in the bath. Lol. It looks lovely!!! ❤️❤️
Thank you!! I was so close to doing the same😂 but then I forced myself to drill the holes and just go for it haha
@@OurLittleNest You’re so welcome!! Haha!! Well, you have inspired me to rethink my levels of apathy and lethargy. 🤣❤️🤣
Wow it turned out so beautiful! What a neat concept! It fits perfectly & I bet it was so satisfying after it all came together! ✨
Thank you! & yes definitely! I was happy when it was done, it took a lot of scrubbing haha
Oh my stars and garter's!!!!!! You did an AMAZING job on everything!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 💖🙏
Thank you so much!! It was so fun doing this!💓

That came out great! Even though you are outside, it would be good to wear a mask too!

Great job! I love how the bathroom vanity and sink turned out!
So beautiful. So glad you are back, I love your ideas.

Love how the vanity turned out! Pretty color.

It’s beautiful!

You did an amazing job. Glad you’re back🥰
So excited for this!!
Aw! I hope you enjoy! It was really fun to work on this project!
@@OurLittleNest you did an amazing job. Beautiful piece
Looks awesome!!
Thank you!!
Turned out great!
Great job! Thanks for sharing!
Love how it turned out!
Thank you for watching!
My wife wanted to do this to our house in 1988, I said "what a stupid idea". She never lets me forget!!
This is gorgeous!
Aww! Thank you so much!!
Omg looks so good! Love it, well done!
Great instructions.
Its beautiful! Did you end up putting those drawer dividers in the top drawer? Amazon has these convertible ones made of bamboo/wood..
Stunning
Just love . Great job
Thank you so much ☺️
Can you share details on the pieces you attached to your drill to cut the wood?
Amazing job and very helpful! May I ask how the hight compares to a typical vanity?
Well done. Good idea
Thank you!
Nice sander! 😃
mind blown!!! 🤯
Hi,
How is the water resistant seal holding up? I wanna do this too but I wasn't sure if I should just replace the top wood with a ceramic countertop
Creative and fun! I am curious about using oven cleaner instead of stripper? Is it cheaper? Easier? 🤔🧐 Looks like it worked. 👍
I like this concept , although surprised you didn’t sand it to bare wood and do a wash or something.
Did you box in the sides and backs of the drawers after cutting them out so that nothing falls out of them?
Could the tag on the back of the dresser be a “sign” for you to move to North Carolina, just saying…😊
Omgggg!! I LOVE that! 😍 so many people have been talking to us about how we should move to North Carolina!
How do you like the faucet off to the right? My concern is the splash while washing hands.
So cute
Thank you☺️
Would u use the Easy Off oven Cleaner method again?
I was told to put saran wrap around it to help it come off easier
Did you rinse this off with a hose? I keep seeing tutorials saying they rinsed off the oven cleaner that way and I’m not sure how I feel about taking that much water to wood
Thank you
What grit sandpaper did you use?

Are the drawers functional
Would have been nice to see how the sink stopper and plumbing was installed.
What about when you bump up against the dresser? It'll budge and create problems with pipes and drains, yes?
What height is your dresser?! I’m trying to do this for my bathroom but unsure what height to go for!
I was hoping that you were going to build side walls within the drawer after cutting openings for the plumbing.
I used oven cleaner to remove paint on a glass item. You have to cover it after it's sprayed.
Am I missing something? Why use the oven cleaner if you are going to sand anyway? It seemed like a good idea if you don't want to sand
I guess it would be good for hard to get to places
Nice@
Wow
Can I suggest using 00 steel wool next time. I’ve seen this hack and I feel they had better luck with the steel wool
I’ll try that!
Boy have I messed you!!!
AWW!! I missed you all more!!
Make it wooden with the help of the Woodglut instructions.
👀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I want to do this in my bathroom… my question is how is the wood top holding up to being in a wet environment? I am just worried that being a bathroom sink that the water will ruin the wood.
we haven't had any problems!
As a contractor I'd say this is one of the most horrible "solutions" I've ever seen. This will wear horribly and be water damaged soon.
Yay new video! Lots of love from England!💖
Have a wonderful day!🥰
It’s beautiful!
Thanks so much!
