I think this is great; you designed for your brother’s needs and taste, not for anyone else. People are so funny the way they criticize. If they want different handles or paint, they can make their own. This video provides inspiration and people can always customize their own project however they want. I bet your brother is very happy with this.
OH MY GOSH... I have the almost EXACT same dresser... Same Handles too!!!! I was thinking TODAY about throwing it away You both did a Fantastic job... I might not throw away my dresser draw away now.. Love your Tattoos.. There is a Huge Tattoo show here in Carlsbad, New Mexico... I am the only person that goes and doesn't have any tattoos... LOL They look at me like I'm really strange.. but I love the art. Thank you for sharing this great video
Absolutely beautiful. You did a beautiful great job. I wish that live close to you. Cause I'd like to get a cabinet section and make a drop leaf. Table like that for a bar. And that's my idea and put it on rollers. Also, for like an another one of course, and would do away with the little table I have. That would be storage. It would be so nice. Keep up the good work. I love watching you
I made a kitchen cart out of a nightstand, that my mom bought for $25.00. It was painted with varnish, but I painted the cart with white paint. I installed casters, without the legs, though. I also installed a drawer pull on the side to hang a towel, or utensils with S hooks.
Loved the great finish. Great you guys are recycling and keeping items out of landfill. You and yourbrother have good ideas. Well done. I bought an oak cupboard and my husband sprayed it with car paint and some new handles it turned out beautiful and a lot cheaper than paying a joiner to make a new one. Take care😊
1st visit. I watched b/c I'm interested in training my thought patterns to SEE things from a different perspective. EXPANDING my pov. Nicely done guys! 8 times you sanded & painted! WoW! What else is possible? Keep up the great work!
Good job but I would have painted the white brackets same color as the island and I’m not fond of the old fashion handles. I’m questioning why 8 coats of poly and why did you leave the inside cubby unpainted?
The brackets were something I had laying around. We didn't want to buy different ones. We were trying to make this an inexpensive project. Paint would have just gotten scratched up and looked bad. I did 8 coats to get the shine and protection for the wood I wanted. We didn't paint the inside because neither one of us thought it was necessary.
I did this with a small sideboard but all I did was paint it, change the hardware and add wheels. I will be adding a butcherblock top and some long handles on the side for towel racks and to help move it around. I wanted the drawers and bottom cabinet for storage.
That is really nice. The only thing I would do different is make that bottom part, under the shelf, more hidden, for a secret stash for valuables, and not us a decorative pull.
Looks absolutely beautiful, but you need to paint those white hinges that hold up the extra table, they stand out like a sore thumb! Paint them the dark green!
So instead of using polycrylic, I now use water-base Spar. It is a better water seal and has UV protection. I was really happy when they came out with the water-based version as I live in Florida and now won’t need as many coats to seal a piece. It is great for anything used in the kitchen.
It's hard because a lot of the stuff I already had and can't remember what I paid for it. I will say that the things we had to buy added up to $94. If I had to guess, buying everything would have been close to $200.
EXCELLENT Idea about using the Handles as a Towel Holder...
First time I saw a dresser turned into something so useful!

You and your brother work well together. Your Mother should be proud!!!
What a beautiful job ,so creative, makes me want to.dress up my islsnd.
Beautiful work and nice to see an older piece with real wood get re-purposed, versus paying more than twice as much for a new veneer piece. Great job!
You can add nice storage baskets to the lower part -gorgeous
I think he plans on storing his rice cooker and air fryer down there.
Just awesome! Love to see upcycled furniture! Kudos on converting this to a functional beauty.
Wow, the way you two guys work in unison makes me think what it would be like to have 4 hands, great guys!
One was a women with painted finger nails
I absolutely love the color choices you did along with the stained wood. And the cubby perfect idea. Wish I could work with wood,😂 Excellent work !
I love recycling! It keeps it out of the landfill. And saves another tree. Project turned out great.

You guys did a really great, very professional job remaking this dresser. I would love something like this in my kitchen.
Very nice. I imagine the bottom cubby to be perfect for potatoes and onions! A kitchen island can cost hundreds of dollars and this was custom.
Never store potatoes and onions together. They will both spoil quickly
Very nice restoration. Love the colors you used.
I love it 🫶 It’s so beautiful. Nice work 👍
It looks very pretty , good job 👍
That's handy!
You all did a beautiful job!!!

Looks great, like a high end brand piece ❤

It turned out really nice.
Excellent work! I have one I wish I can turn it out this way!! Need the tools though TFS 🙏🏾
Beautiful !!!!❤❤❤❤❤ Wish I could do that . What joy !
Beautiful and fantastic idea too. I would use a butcher block or marble for the top though.
That's expensive. Not the goal here.
What is the compartment for in the bottom? It doesn't look finished enough to use for anything???😮
What do you mean? It can be for things that aren't used often. I don't see why it would need to be painted or "finished".
Simple and perfect idea and am excellent color
Really nice! Lotsa hard work but paid off!

Beautiful result!

Absolutely stunning ,great thinking 👍👍👍
Looks fabulous. Great work.
Like the hidden area. ⭐️👍
Gorgeous - and ingenious!
You can put some pretty contact paper for that hidden spot and put your fancy napkins there ❤...Great job
Contact paper is a good idea.
Beautiful! ❤ and clever.
Sir, it's quite beautiful! Why does one have to sand after each coat of paint?
To make sure the finish is as smooth as possible.
What a lovely job
Very nice. Good work guys
very inventive and will be quite useful. I wonder if in future you can tell us what the cost was to redo things.
It's hard because a lot of the stuff I already had and can't remember what I paid for it. I will say that the things we had to buy added up to $94. If I had to guess, buying everything would have been close to $200.
Wow--beautiful & practical.
Nice Job ❤
That would match my kitchen Perfectly! WOW! Beautiful work and a great idea! 😊
WOW. So talented. 👍🏼😁
What is the piece of wood for on the bottom shelf with the handle for? So beautiful
To hide stuff you don't use often.
Seems like it has a hidden compartment- with a handle!
BEAUTIFUL JOB
Awesome job guys
