  • Hey Y,all! here is my workouts and PT progress from 8 weeks out after my ACL and double meniscus reconstruction surgery! I am doing all of my therapy through ATI Physical Therapy. Also, I use Cryotherapy as a way of prevention and aid with my process. Everything is progressing well and am finally reaching some huge milestones with PT!

How soon were you able to get a full rotation on the bike? I'm day 6 post-op (ACL only, allograft) and can get 90 degrees of flexion (albeit painfully).

@@shailshetty12345 That is a great attitude! Happy to hear things are coming back to normal! It took me about a full year and then once I got into strength training it really helped!

I would definitely consult your doctor for something like that. Sorry I cannot be more of any help.

Question were both of your meniscus repaired or were they both trimmed down

Tony Walker, my medical meniscus was completely wrecked so they just took it out and then the lateral meniscus was re connected.

Did your doctor say anything about developing arthritis in your knees and. How do your knees feel. Now

Hey! sorry for the late reply.. Recovery time is slower than before injury, but everything feels strong and good. as of arthritis.. It has the potential to creep in, but if I wouldnt have taken care of it, my knees would have had to be fully replaced within the next 10 years.

Luke Chambers - Wisco Warrior. Right my surgeon said that it has a chance to develop or it may not creep in at all. We will both have to take care of our knees my friend. By the way when did you first have surgery for your knees ?
