📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 Have you ever used Za’atar? When I introduced Za’atar to Robin for the first time he thought it was a villain from an Aladdin movie 😂
I love how she shares veganism in an organic way - just sharing wholesome recipes and slowly but surely lots of people are incorporating these meals into their lives! Great for our planet while also being a warm and kind space
That's why I like her too! I would love to be vegan but I have to cook for more people and forcing them is never the way, I do incorporate a lot of the recipes from here so we at least have a couple vegan meals a week.
@@desouzasinclair I am in the same situation as you. I cook for a number of people who are meat eaters but sometimes I do the whole imposter meals...they take a bite then wonder why it's different, but they still like it.
One of the reasons I first started following her. Various vegan friends were pushing the idea (some quite aggressively, accusing and loud). Her approach was much more palatable, "bash-free" and encouraging curiosity, giving ideas and offering insights, tips and tricks. I'm probably 90% vegan in what I consume now (that cheese is a toughie and I do love omelettes), with almost no meat. The shift has been slow, natural and gradual and this channel definitely played a role in that process.
Yeah, her approach is very wholesome in all aspects. I can not really eat anything she makes, but I still really like her styl of cooking, her sothing voice, and I still get a bit of inspiration. I was always interested in veganism, in the no mockmeat, for added diversety kind of way. The first things I could cook where all vegan things with which I got my parents to reduce their consumption of animal produces. Sadly I got a lot of foodintolerances that make it impossible for me to go vegan in a wholesome way, so I appreciate her non judgmental attitude all the way more. I need to eat animal protein, just like a cat, and I do not think it is reasonable to shame someone for wanting to be halfway health. I think we are at a point where everyone should consider it, but there is no one solution that fits all and a movement that is all about being reasonable, thoughtful of other living beings and show empathy should question, how well they follow their own ideals if they are not willing to accept, that different people have different options and needs and just because something works for one, the other is not to fault for not being able to do the same. We all can do a little bit, but who does if it is always presented as an all in or all out situation? Sadia does great in that regard ^^
Hi Sadia, Just want to let you know that your videos really inspire me to kick start my youtube career in health and healthy recipes. I am a doctor specialized in Public Health and Functional Medicine and i really think that we are very lucky to have social media platforms like youtube and IG to spread our passion in health.
I love that you say "we can" instead of "you should" in the way you explain step by step how to make things. It's really inclusive and empowering to the viewer.
I love you Sadia, and as a student it's sooo hard to be vegan on a budged, you are making it easier with every video, Thank you do much♥️ Love from Germanyy
Shopping at "ethnic" grocery stores is the way to go! We're able to find 10 kg of flour for 13 USD and amazing deals on cans of chickpeas, falafel mix, olive oil... and the women at this one store always gives us some free fresh bread! All the best and love from the US
The thing I really do love the most about your channel is that every single video gives me so much inspiration to try out different taste combinations, spices and ingredients. I end up replicating and changing up at least one recipe from every video, going back to my favourites from time to time, just to find new dishes within your recipes. Thank you Sadia, you really help me cook, feel nourished and enjoy my time in the kitchen. ❤
veganism has truly opened me up to so many different flavors. I went vegan at 18 (5 years ago now) and at that point in my life my staple foods were chicken nuggets and turkey sandwiches. These recipes are something i never would have tried as a non-vegan so I am soooo grateful that ive been pushed to try new things. All of these dishes look incredible, I'm for sure gonna make the last one !!
5:32 I tried yesterday this recipe, and let me tell you, I had some doubts... But when I tasted it, and all the flavors exploded in my mouth, I knew that it was a new favorite of mine. Thank you so much!
for my tropical pals over there: the first sandwich goes perfectly with jackfruit too, instead of the mushrooms, just make sure you harvest them while still unripe and cook'em well.
OMG!!!! The Za’atar Spiced Veggie Wrap BLEW MY MIND!!!! Absolutely incredibly delicious! I didn’t expect everything to blend together as beautifully as it all did! Thank you for posting this! Keep the recipes coming!!!
Most of the time, I’m not doing these recipes opbut there is just something about these videos that makes them so unique, and ordinary, and entertaining, and inspiring to watch.
After watching few of your videos I started put a handful of chopped raw spinach on my curry and it tastes so good together. In my culture the spinach is always served as cooked so using raw spinach was a simple and brilliant tip.
I love your recipe concepts, but part of the reason why I’m here is the videography/presentation & you and your personality. 💜 beautiful work! If I didn’t have to have a strict diet for health reasons, being vegan or vegetarian would be so inviting.
Your recipes give a lot of ideas to cook and I can feel some Indian flavours in most of your recipes. As a Indian I really loved ur videos altogether. U show us budget friendly vegan dishes. Thank you very much.
I made the tomato and chickpea stew and it was good. But when I ate it the next day it became so much better. I guess the flavors incorporated well overnight. I am grateful for this healthy and delicious meal.
Your videos are so refreshing 😭 you remind me why I loved eating well & cooking constantly & don’t make me feel overwhelmed on getting back to it, awe inspiring with every video 🥺❤️
Za’taar is delicious and here in Lebanon each household makes their own (and claims theirs is the best) thank you for the recipe ideas! Ps: roll your “r”s when you pronounce Za’taar
Sadia, I decided to become vegan three days ago, and I have made a lot of your recipes! Your channel completely inspired me and I am so excited (I have been watching for a few years and still making the dishes, but now I am loving the vegan flavors!) Thank you! I made your golden turmeric frothy milk beverage this morning and added macadamia nuts and I couldn't even drink half of it! It was so sweet and filling, Im definitely saving it for later ◡̈
my favorite thing about your channel is that your recipes are not only vegan, wholesome, and delicious, but that you've introduced me to some flavors from other cultures. living in the u.s. it's easy for the flavors of other cultures to be overshadowed by "American style" foods, mostly fast foods.

Tried the tomato chickpea stew and wrap. Turned out amazing. Will try more of your recipes. The blog is really helpful to calculate how much ingredients you want. Thank you Sadia🙂
The chick pea stew is outstanding! I often adapt recipes to my own taste but I recommend you follow this recipe exactly. The tahini, the smoked paprika and the green olives are important flavours that carry this dish. Thank you.
Found Sadia's channel about 3 years back as I was researching on tips before my backpacking trip and here I am still, hooked on her approach to eating healthier & incorporating more plant based meals in my life ❤ Would love to know where i can get your set of speckled pans and skillet 🥰 they are a NEED 😂
Great video and recipes. Speedy recipes that are made within 15-20 minutes are my favourite vegan recipes. The majority of the recipes i make are within 15-30 minutes because I don't want to spend too long making meals before I eat them.
Oh wow ! And now I am going to try almost all of them next week. I tried all of your recipes in one of the budget-friendly video, and loved them all ! This week, I am going to make some variations of them
As a viewer from the Netherlands, I would really appreciate a quick video on some of the online stores you use in these times of plague. And I need that sandwich in my life!

Sadia, I made the Tomato and Chick Pea Stew for dinner last night and we absolutely LOVED it! So flavourful. I threw in some mushrooms as well because they needed to be used up. This is a fairly forgiving recipe I think. You could put all sorts of things into it. This will become a regular in our household here in sunny Adelaide. Thanks so much for sharing! 😁
I’m living now in Israel and these recipes are just what I’ve been looking for😍 I use a lot of middle eastern spices and these recipes are just giving me a great idea on how to use them in a new way! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Sadia! I made the chickpea and tomato stew yesterday, it wasn't the exact same because I didn't have tahini, or the bell peppers and carrots but I added some spinach and brocoli, it turned out really well! Thanks for the inspiration, I absolutely love your recipes !
I am so happy I found your channel! My husband is vegetarian, I always want to find some new recipes. But lately I was thinking about transitioning myself, and your channel is a wonder!
I gave the mushroom curry a try, and it was a succes. Thank you so much for sharing that recipe! I see myself making that on a regular basis. The pineapple just gives it the needed sweetness and freshness. The only downside to the pineapple is that after a day or two in the fridge, it has leaked some of its juices and the curry becomes more runny. Still good, though. Wishing you all the best from Belgium.
