Okay okay I saw it. Damn in the mean time this module slowly but surly can really does everything. Unbelievable stuff. Just can’t wait to get in the studio and put the new update to my 2 EX‘s. Unbelievable what this module has become. ❤
THIS is one of your biggest improvements for Disting EX. Amazing...man... it's a mixture of Endless processor and sometimes Panharmonium in such a small case.. 🙌
This is quite an interesting one, Andrew! Definitely an excellent drone maker. But seems like there is also a lot of potential here for all kinds of madness as well as generating new, unique samples. Thanks for amazing and delighting us with another cool new algorithm!
Amazing stuff! I have two feature requests: 1. Would it be possible to have each of the outputs have one of the voices output from them instead of just dry from the 3&4 outputs? 2. It would be really cool to be able to v/Oct control the pitch, ideally being able to do it individually to each voice if you want to
What a beautiful addition :-) Would it be possible to store the content of the 4 voices together with all the settings on the SD card, maybe in a future update?
@@ExpertSleepersLtd That would be so great Os... Being able to come back to previous states, would make the Spectral-Frees a power tool for sound-design!
Loving this algorithm, lots of very interesting applications. Noticing a bit of lag in the UI when its up and running, is that to be expected? I guess constant writing/reading to and from buffers is going to be a little taxing.
thanks for the maj , but i have a problem , when i load the algorythm, i have only the screen with the 4 segment in visual and it's never come back to the menu for the parameters. problem in my setting ? display setting or something like that ? thanks for your job ;)
@@ExpertSleepersLtd Aha! I have a FH-2 en route. I have my EX connected to a TMB, and I was going to connect the FH-2 to the TMB too. So I guess I could just run a TRS cable between the FH-2 out and the EX in and achieve the same result.
@@JesseSep. Kid, its taken me six years just to fill my little case… it would take a four months to save up for a Disting EX (if its in stock). Maybe you have a job that pays well… i’m a retired graphic artist for christ’s sake.
Another excellent upgrade. We need a Disting EX FS (full size) 14-16hp with that screen built in !
They should sell the external screen as a module. I know I can build one, but I am not good in DIY stuff.
Super Disting in similar vein of the er-301 !!!
Super Duper Disting EX Omega Plus Plus!

Amazing. Just had one land in the rack last week next to a couple of MK4s. More to explore already! Thank you!!

This is Amazing is 3 modules in one script well done very Smart 👏🏻
Not dived in to euro in some time. This looks fab!
Disting ex for sure on my list right now❤😮
Do you think that you could make "etherization" also working with live input and not only for the sampled material? it's an amazing feature
Yes, that would be possible. I'll put it on the wish-list!

This makes (by my calculation) just three modules that do ‘time stretch’- and I have two of them. Yay!

Yes, please! That would be awesome!
I love this. Thank you!
Dude! Just what I wanted.

Nice things thanks for your job :)
Etherization is my new friend.
Thank you!
superb!

Yes, possibly.

yes, most interesting 👍

Pressing or turning P or V should leave that mode. Also check whether you have 'Enable second display' set in the settings.
Does this exist as a VST?
Probably. An oldie but goodie is www.soundhack.com
Beautiful effect! This may be a stupid question, but how is the FH-2 connected to the first Disting EX running SD Multisample?
A pair of DuPont cables directly connecting the MIDI headers on the rear of the two modules.
@@ExpertSleepersLtd Aha! I have a FH-2 en route. I have my EX connected to a TMB, and I was going to connect the FH-2 to the TMB too. So I guess I could just run a TRS cable between the FH-2 out and the EX in and achieve the same result.
@@PatternMusic Yes. That also gives you the flexibility to re-patch your MIDI cables to, for example, use the EX web editor.
Nice. Lovely even… but my rack is too small, and i would have to toss my Mk4 Distings to make room for a Disting EX 😞
Nah, bigger rack buddy!

Wow
Os is there a new firmware available? I just updated mine couple of days ago. On which firmware is this algorithm?

Alright, going to sell my Endless Processor. Thanks!
It’s a great module as well, but indeed with this algorithm you don’t need that module anymore.
@@TheNimasan I would take time to compare the two - they're quite different effects, really.
