OS!!! Disting EX is by far the most powerful and versatile module in eurorack, legit a no brainer for anyone to invest in, every rack should have one of these!!!
Just brilliant! This sounds really good… I have a TX7 and an OpSix- and I feel like DX7 patches sound better to me on the Disting EX than on either of those.
Thanks for the update Os! I've added a bunch of Syx files as per video..but when I scroll through I do not see Piano, Koto, Cs80 etc..have I loaded incorrectly or am I missing some other way to navigate through banks or have you added these from a different set of syx files? Thanks

Thank you for update, however I have a problem. I can't get voices 2, 3 and 4 out on their outputs, I can move voice 1 but voices 2, 3 and 4 are not coming out on the audio outputs?
@@L-xir_hadra The four voices on Poly FM use the channel you set in the settings, and the next three channels. So if you've set it in the settings to 2, the four voices will use channels 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Considering a second Disting EX now, one for the DX7 and another for everything else. Amazes me how much you can fit on this little module.

DistingEX UX improvements are very convenient! Its very helpful to have text menus while navigating the .syx bank/presets.

If you've used the built-in function to write syx files to the card, 'CS 80' for example can be found in MACRO2_1.SYX.
I have the ex alpha and the midi breakout but cannot get any sounds out using my midi keyboard. Can someone please help?

How are you triggering the four voices?

How do you trigger different voices over i2c? EX.N only trigs voice 1
