Windows10 makes it very difficult to access these settings now, you not always get to the window you show on your video clicking on that corner, so the way around to get to these settings is by typing the following on your File Explorer "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound" - is a shortcut for those who find this issue. They just put it somewhere else. When u click the sound thing on the bottom right of the desktop, press open sound settings. When it opens up the panel, look on the right side. You'll find something that says "Sound Control Panel"

My mic was extremely low and none of your tips worked so what I did is that I took a thumbtack and started removing the little remainings of food stuck inside my input and when I finished it started working randomly you still gave me the idea to fix it so I am liking the video :) also I feel like a microphone doctor now LOL
NVIDIA is the problem. If you have NVIDIA Audio driver. 1. Device manager 2. Under Sound and video 3. Right-click "NVIDIA Audio driver" if you have it ( if you don't, sorry can't help ) 4. Properties > Driver > Uninstall driver > Ok 5. Restart your PC 6. Done - I instantly got 100% volume from before, at 30% volume after. Back to normal. I didn't know it was causing this issue. 7. The NVIDIA Audio driver will still show up in Device Manager after uninstalling, don't worry, as long as you got your volume back. ( I say, copy and paste this everywhere so people find this little fix I found )

I think that fixed it. I was beginning to get pissed that a $50 mic was not working well. Perhaps the reason mics are so expensive is because of idiots like me will buy a more expensive mic just because a stupid widows setting.

the solution is go to microphone property and check the box which says listen to microphone this way the speaker of the computer will help the mic increase loudness

Jallenps7 I just fixed it, If you have a stereo mixer in your sound board. Disable it, then I also had issues with hearing myself talk which you may have. Go into sound properties then choose your playback noise NOT your mic. Then go into properties, levels then press balance and put it right in the middle for everything

Yeah acutally, you can go to sound settings, you can find it on the windows bar and that arrow up thing, right click on the red speaker thingy and open sound manager. From there go to ur mic and right to the "recording volume" is a "microphone boost" click on that and choose how much you want to boost it, but don't boost it too much since there is a like beeeeeeep sound that is in the background when you speak, since you boosted it.

I've been having people telling me I'm very quiet when there's background audio in my videos. This helped out.

also in control panel u can make ur mic louder for certain apps like discord

NVIDIA is the problem. If you have NVIDIA Audio driver.
1. Device manager
2. Under Sound and video
