Nice bit of kit . One small point, disconnect the earth terminal first !. Especially if you are using jumper leads from a slave battery because if you inadvertantly catch an an earth point on the bike with the red clamp , not good at all , because you are shorting out the donor battery.

An absolute necessity for a 2019 BMW 1250GSA!!! I have a different branded unit and depended on it for over two years, as the battery in the 1250s are well and truly under-specced. Saved us on both our 1250s getting stranded dozens and dozens of times -- everywhere from just popping into town or in the outback.

something the dealer doesn't tell you as you are riding away from them :). Had to use it again the last time I took it out as I couldn't give it a good run after this video was filmed. Hopefully she's topped up nicely now. But certainly will be coming with me anywhere I go now.

I have a cheap Chinese one. I live in northern Thailand. I have used it on the woman's car in addition to on my 390's failing battery a few times. Useful to have. It has a starter pack and a tyre pump. Nick

Good choice to get one with the tyre pump like me mate. I sacrificed having a smaller jumper to having one with the tyre pump. Glad to see its come through for you.

Neat having the tyre inflator in the same unit. I carry a separate jump pack & tyre inflator. I'm not sure you could even bump start bikes anymore so a jump pack is a necessity for me at least.

There's no way im pushing this big old bike fast enough to even be able to try and bump it :)

useful looking bit of kit that is.i keep my bike on an optimate,so its always got a nicely conditioned battery.but if you have no power where your bike is then this would be ideal.
with your saddle bags you can take it with you aswell.

That’s it mate. We can’t all live with fancy electricity in our garages 😁. Lone rider do a nice long thin bag that will mollie on to the outside of the panniers which this would fit nicely in to I recon. Shame one bag is like 60/80£. Just as much as the jumper itself 🤦🏻😁

@@DSR1YT you could probably run a battery conditioner off a solar panel on your garage roof.

Frequent use of a jump starter stuffed the Rectifier on my Honda so be careful.

Owned it almost a year and only ever used it this time over Christmas due to weather and not being able to take it out. It gets plenty of run outs to the dealer normally 😁

I wouldn’t want to put a different jumper link up if I haven’t personally tested it aswell. 😁
