    Interestingly the Italian media says that the gearbox does talk to the imu, … maybe the software tuning is not optimal yet as it is the first gen, but apparently the IMU data is already shared with the component that drives the gear changes

    That's a great review with footage, but i can't help notice how much better both the GoPro and Dji action cam footage is compared to the K6. What GoPro do you use? Would you rate it better or worse than the Dji for a helmet mounted camera? If i had only 1 motorbike i would buy the K6 that's currently £192, but owning 2, and one of them being a scooter where mounting a camera is nigh on impossible on the close fitting curved plastic panels, a helmet camera is my best option, but Dji or Gopro, it's so difficult to get unbiased opinions on these as most are sponsored reviews etc on YT.

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hay mate. It’s a fair question. I’m not sponsored by anyone but own both GoPros and DJI cameras. I’ve personally moved away from go pros as I was having too many issues with them. I would say the quality is slightly better on the go pro over DJI but not enough to warrant keeping it with all its issues. If you are looking at something to just stick on the front of the bike then the osmo action 4 will be more than enough for the job. I wouldn’t worry about looking at the 5 pro. Hope that helps. 🤙

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT วันที่ผ่านมา

      What is your reasons for saying the CHIGEE unit is much more useful? From my perspective this unit is sleek and tucks away under the seat out of site. The CHIGEE unit is basically a usb charger that sits outside on your handlebars or where ever you put it. This creates more gubbins on the handlebars. 🤙

    • @ekimandersom4478
      @ekimandersom4478 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@DSR1YT The Chigee unit is a charger and a powerbank that can start your bike, also it can work in reverse to charge your bike battery. It is a very clever device. This Thunderbox is surely nice, but a normal relais connected to the acc does the same for allot less money.

DJI Mic 2 VS Purple Panda LAPEL Mic // motovlog style// 4K th-cam.com/video/fTyrSBWAVuo/w-d-xo.html I show where I mount the DJI mic in my helmet. Sadly I have not come across the ability to have the mic turn on when you turn on the camera. That would be an awesome feature and something that would get used all the time for me. I just pull over. Turn the mic on. Turn the camera on and then go again. My mic stays on for a bit without turning off so if I am turning the camera on within 5/10 minutes it usually connects back up to the mic automatically. 🤙

I am looking at getting a 23 model for the fact that you also sit more upright and more comfortable for us big 6'2 guys. The fact that I love the front end a hell of a lot more on the 23 also is a bonus. Toured Europe last three summers 2up, just traded my GSA1250 for the new GSA1300 ASA. Test rode the ASA and have to say it’s brill. You really have 3 gearboxes in one depending on how you mix Road/Dynamic in Drive …. But Manual is way smoother and better than the normal shift assist. And it’s great you can change gear at any time in any mode if you want. Slow riding is easier than with the clutch so good for any hill starts, getting on/off ferries you name it. There’s a bit of brain training involved and I think that’s what folks have to get their head round. I rode 45 miles home after a test ride and used the clutch in times, all at junctions and traffic lights. The question is … after you’re moving and in second gear on the 1250, how often do you actually use the clutch 😳 great channel. 👍

      @DSR1YT 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hay mate, thanks for the comment, I agree with what you are saying with reference to the ASA, ive released my video on the GS1300 ASA I tested and said the same thing, we hardly use our clutch lever when youve got the quick shifter fitted. But sadly this specific ASA I tested just wasn't smooth enough for me, but others out there like you say, really enjoyed the ASA, so it may be that single bike that wasn't the smoothest, im all for ASA on models, as long as they still make the manual version, I dont want them to fully get rid of manual, im not ready for that yet :). Enjoy your new GSA. Ride safe.

      Check out my video on the GS1300 ASA to help with that question. If I didnt have a GSA I would be looking at the 1300 for sure, having had the GSA id be looking at the GS1300 and thats just for me and my preference going forward right now, always time to change that thought though :). If you want more wind protection with more miles per tank, they sure go for the GSA, if those two parts arent that important then the GS1300 would be my choice.

    I take my hat off to Itchy Boots. Bought a RE Himalaya (with very little tech) in India and rode it all the way back to Holland , gained admiration and quiet a few subscribers as well. This is another video (17 so far) from an influencer suggesting this bike "looks better in the flesh", this makes me smile.

      Hay Frank, im interested to know what your thoughts are on the bike, have you managed to see one in person yet? It took me a long time to accept the new GS1300 front end, this acceptance didnt take as long thats for sure, but it won't be everyone's cup of tea. PS I dont see myself as an 'influencer' just your average Joe content creator, but hopefully my videos do help some people out there. PPS, always hats off to itchy boots for her stuff, some seriously impressive work from her. Far beyond anything I could do. Ride safe.

    i found compared to my 22 gsa. i was cramped the bars and tft are too close to me i wasnt impressed with the engine its too noisy the handling is a tad more agile i didnt like the esa its way too hard i had a harsh ride also i couldnt feel much between road or dynamaic the new menu system is garbage they crammed more in with same button count now no dedicated heating button the brakes are stronger though so considering mine is on 2 years old i would need to change all luggage even my tanklock givi tankbag wont fit you reviewers seem as if bmw have paid you all

      Each to their on Austin, I can 100% say though, that no dealer has ever 'Paid' me for my videos, I get no discounts or favouritism from any of them. I cant speak for other channels out there. I just say it how I see it, if I like something ill say it, if I dont, ill say it. You guys will either agree or disagree with me, but like I say, each to their own. Im not chopping in my 2019 1250 GSA for this and I won't be for the next year or so, it hasn't wowed me and won me over, doesn't mean I cant enjoy the bike for what it is :) Ride safe mate.

    This bike is an imposing piece of machinery. It’s massive and feels massive. When compared to the 1300 standard the difference is a lot more notable than in the 1250 predecessors. The standard 1300 GS is a little faster, agile and substantially lighter. But with two up and luggage, I would choose this GSA 1300 over the standard. Do we need all that bulkiness and technology? No we don’t. By the other hand, is it desirable? Absolutely yes! The standard 1300 GS is so nimble and agile that is possible to ride it on a super moto style manner. The 1300 GSA doesn’t appeal to ride that way, but it can also be ridden on a fast and sporty manner. So I guess that it will depend on the rider’s ability and desire. What’s it made for? I would say it is meant for longer rides in comfort, but that, also means that it’s capable of doing everything in between and below that. Nice video. Thank you. 👍🏻

      well put mate, its not perfect, but it does everything well. We all have different requirements when it comes to riding, sunday rides only, touring, 2 up, camping. You pick the bike that suits your needs the best and then go from there. Ride safe.

      I agree with you. Bring back the days where £10k was the full price on a new litre bike. Nice to see Honda haven’t gone too far with their prices. New cb1000r £8999. Other manufacturers could learn a thing or two from them 🤣🤙

    I’ve ridden the new GSA twice. The handling is miles better than the old 1250, the wind protection is good, the bikes still feels like a GSA. The new ASA shifter is as smooth as butter. The only issue is the seat is way too hard and so is the ride. On UK roads the seat/ride combo is just so poor. It’s a shame because other than that, the new GSA is a great bike.

    It'd be interesting to see how it compares to the new Yamaha Tracer 9GT+. For realistic use (most GSs don't go off road) the T9GT+ has all the same toys (except adaptive ride height) for much much less, and panniers as standard

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I agree. Most people get the GS for the road, but let’s face it, most people who get the PanAm or multistrada don’t get it for its off road capabilities. The T9GT+ is a really solid platform as well. 🤙
