I don’t have to worry about others staring at me (except my instructor who’s sooo sweet), i get to SOCIALIZE with someone (!!! Big win for someone who works from home haha) and I don’t feel exhausted after each class (compared to how some other workouts make me feel). Honestly I’ve been feeling similar as you lately and this video was so refreshing to watch and served as a reminder that we allll go through these things unfortunately. @@haleypham I used to have a personal trainer at the gym but I felt too much pressure with what he expected me to eat and diet etc. the whole Pilates thing feels like it’s given me much more of a relaxed and not so high-mental pressure fitness schedule
Such a wholesome vlog. I was struggling to create habits for a while, one thing that helped was accountability. I started going to the gym with my friends and we’d all text each other to stay accountable, I also hired a life coach who helps me sort through my goals weekly. That was great and refreshing and made me feel less alone and overwhelmed by how to tackle things. I also just asked for help. I asked dennis to help me with meals and my in law to help me understand nutrition. Since then I go to the gym about 4x a week without including my walks and rock climbing days. I wake up at 8am most days and 6am gym days. And I just feel all around happy. One thing I found was the more I looked into the topic of “how to build habits” the more overwhelmed and stagnant I became. You just need accountability buddies
i did this this past month and it feels so good to be out of a guilt cycle of not following through with promises in myself! ALSO get an instant pot it’s soooo easy to make food quickly, healthy, and you feel accomplished!

Girl i totally feel you when it comes to being productive/prioritizing. I used to be super lazy at working out, cleaning, etc. so I prayed to God to give me the desire and energy to be productive and healthy. Small steps are still steps. This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 2 months ago about self development. Now I have 196 subs and almost 82 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

about cooking haley-- honestly no one 'knows' how to cook! we all just follow recipes and are constantly learning. if we make a specific one often then we might memorize it but you can be a cook for 20 years and still look at recipes while you do it :)

For learning how to cook, honestly meal kits like hello fresh really made me learn how to cook, without the need for grocery store logistics. Also, start with small goals and implement the habits one at a time, all or nothing thinking is what makes people give up when they try to change everything at once!

It’s crazy how much overthinking hinders activities you want to do/overall progress. I’ve leant that introducing things as habits to be way more effective at following a routine
Don’t forget that this is a long process, one step at a time. So don’t plan changing all the things at once, you will fail as everyone. It’s more like a long journey, as you repeat stuff over a long time you adapt and stay consistent. But I LOVE that you are showing us that, I am also turning 21 and it’s so refreshing to see that we all go through this.

I feel this too! I was working full time for about 2-3 years and then decided to go into real estate, and so recently I quit my job to study full time. And omgggg it’s a struggle to switch up your ENTIRE routine and stay motivated while doing it🥲

Something I found helpful for a morning routine or really any habit is make them stackable. Make yourself excited for the routine. So personally I know brushing my teeth only takes 2 minutes but for whatever reason I hate doing it. However I love doing my daily devotional so before I allow myself to do the devotional I brush my teeth. Then every other task in te morning or so is something you aren’t that stoked about. When you are excited to do it it makes it easier to follow through
Haley, so excited that you joined a bible study! Ive joined an adult one not to long ago and it’s completely changed my life. Gaining wisdom from other believers while also sharing wisdom is such a great way of feeling productive/filled up. I also recommend volunteering for things! (for example food drives or even nursery at your church). I’ve found that giving back to people and using your extra time to be productive for your community is so fulfilling. Can’t wait to see your journey. :)
oh geez i've been needing a life change for what feels like forever now and i might honestly take this as a sign, it's gonna feel so big and intimidating, but small wins are so important and i feel so inspired knowing that someone is doing it with me
So cool! That inspires me. Here‘s an idea for the car: you could pick one day of the week where you don’t have much to do and that is going to be the car cleaning day. Then you just take half an hour or hour to take the trash out, clean it from the inside and outside etc.

Love your honesty Haley!!❤️ I used to be nervous to work out in front of people to, but I started to realize gym people are often super nice and encouraging!! They started a beginner as well and understand that you’re putting effort into improving your health. Anyway just thought I would put that out there, because often people don’t even pay attention to others in the gym, but if they are they probably are just cheering you on in their head❤️ Also I have a LOT I need to work on, although something that’s helped me with goals is setting a big goal and then taking small steps to achieve it. Like if I’m normally getting up at 11, then it’s really hard to change instantly and start waking up at 7. So it’s really helped me to do the slow way, of getting up a little earlier everyday vs instantly switching. At least for me this way helps me actually stay consistent with my goals vs struggling to keep the drastic change in my life. I know we all have different ways that work the best for us, but just thought I would share what helps me, incase if it somehow could help you or anyone reading this❤️
I definitely have to make changes to my life. I've been in such a funk recently, no motivation, no confidence, I have so many things I want to do but I can't seem to make myself get up and accomplish these things. I have so many goals for myself this year like hitting 20k on TH-cam, reading a certain amount of books, finding a full time job...but I can't get my life together enough to make these things happen. Here is an advice from someone who goes to the gym pretty often: broo literally people there dont care like i swear gym community is the best they are all supportive and nice also they all know that everybody starts at some point so never feel uncomfortable cause you dont know how to do something or ask for help :)

sometimes we have to just say fuck it and do what’s best for us, eat healthier, work out, do more self care, etc. sometimes when we overthink to do tasks it tastes us longer to do them in the end. so if we just got up and did them without thinking it they would get done faster. I’ll realized that over time when I just get up and clean or get up and workout and don’t think about it or complain it gets done way faster and I feel 10x better after it’s been completed. hang in there though u will get through this girl! everyone is going through changes especially since summer is coming up.
Ive been on this journey too i turned 20 last December and yesterday i realised how easy some things that i used to be so scared of doing is now! You just jave to keep doing them and tell yourself that its really not that big of a deal and you eventually dont even get that anxious about doing these things it just becomes natural. You got this! I know youll make good progress. Also for learning how to cook, well aside from my parents teaching me, i watched a lot of cooking basics from Gordan ramsay anf a few of his recipes and kitchen tricks and that has helped me a lot

about cooking haley-- honestly no one 'knows' how to cook! we all just follow recipes and are constantly learning. if we make a specific one often then we might memorize it but you can be a cook for 20 years and still look at recipes while you do it :)

For learning how to cook, honestly meal kits like hello fresh really made me learn how to cook, without the need for grocery store logistics. Also, start with small goals and implement the habits one at a time, all or nothing thinking is what makes people give up when they try to change everything at once!

It’s crazy how much overthinking hinders activities you want to do/overall progress. I’ve leant that introducing things as habits to be way more effective at following a routine
Don’t forget that this is a long process, one step at a time. So don’t plan changing all the things at once, you will fail as everyone. It’s more like a long journey, as you repeat stuff over a long time you adapt and stay consistent. But I LOVE that you are showing us that, I am also turning 21 and it’s so refreshing to see that we all go through this.

I feel this too! I was working full time for about 2-3 years and then decided to go into real estate, and so recently I quit my job to study full time. And omgggg it’s a struggle to switch up your ENTIRE routine and stay motivated while doing it🥲

Proud of you Haley! I have noticed i’m a bit of a funk lately too and really want to work on bettering myself & having a better daily routine. One thing I have done lately is join a church group at my college and it was been a great way to meet new people, learn about God & His word, & over just a positive experience. We got this girly 💚

I love this, and I’ve loved watching you grow up, and I love the Bible verses at the end. I’m 28 and I feel like I’m still learning things, like having a routine, sticking to a work out plan, and a healthy sleep schedule! It’s cool that you’re starting young! Trust me you’re fine! It took me like 2 years to change my name. So don’t feel too bad.

When you spoke about the gym it was the most relatable thing. I still struggle going and it’s always an accomplishment when I go.
Something I found helpful for a morning routine or really any habit is make them stackable. Make yourself excited for the routine. So personally I know brushing my teeth only takes 2 minutes but for whatever reason I hate doing it. However I love doing my daily devotional so before I allow myself to do the devotional I brush my teeth. Then every other task in te morning or so is something you aren’t that stoked about. When you are excited to do it it makes it easier to follow through
Haley, so excited that you joined a bible study! Ive joined an adult one not to long ago and it’s completely changed my life. Gaining wisdom from other believers while also sharing wisdom is such a great way of feeling productive/filled up. I also recommend volunteering for things! (for example food drives or even nursery at your church). I’ve found that giving back to people and using your extra time to be productive for your community is so fulfilling. Can’t wait to see your journey. :)

oh geez i've been needing a life change for what feels like forever now and i might honestly take this as a sign, it's gonna feel so big and intimidating, but small wins are so important and i feel so inspired knowing that someone is doing it with me
So cool! That inspires me. Here‘s an idea for the car: you could pick one day of the week where you don’t have much to do and that is going to be the car cleaning day. Then you just take half an hour or hour to take the trash out, clean it from the inside and outside etc.

I used to be nervous to work out in front of people to, but I started to realize gym people are often super nice and encouraging!! They started a beginner as well and understand that you’re putting effort into improving your health. Anyway just thought I would put that out there, because often people don’t even pay attention to others in the gym, but if they are they probably are just cheering you on in their head❤️ Also I have a LOT I need to work on, although something that’s helped me with goals is setting a big goal and then taking small steps to achieve it. Like if I’m normally getting up at 11, then it’s really hard to change instantly and start waking up at 7. So it’s really helped me to do the slow way, of getting up a little earlier everyday vs instantly switching. At least for me this way helps me actually stay consistent with my goals vs struggling to keep the drastic change in my life. I know we all have different ways that work the best for us, but just thought I would share what helps me, incase if it somehow could help you or anyone reading this❤️
I definitely have to make changes to my life. I've been in such a funk recently, no motivation, no confidence, I have so many things I want to do but I can't seem to make myself get up and accomplish these things. I have so many goals for myself this year like hitting 20k on TH-cam, reading a certain amount of books, finding a full time job...but I can't get my life together enough to make these things happen. I will for sure be taking inspiration from you and this video to try and help me pick myself back up and reach my goals!

Here is an advice from someone who goes to the gym pretty often: broo literally people there dont care like i swear gym community is the best they are all supportive and nice also they all know that everybody starts at some point so never feel uncomfortable cause you dont know how to do something or ask for help :)

sometimes we have to just say fuck it and do what’s best for us, eat healthier, work out, do more self care, etc. sometimes when we overthink to do tasks it tastes us longer to do them in the end. so if we just got up and did them without thinking it they would get done faster. I’ll realized that over time when I just get up and clean or get up and workout and don’t think about it or complain it gets done way faster and I feel 10x better after it’s been completed. hang in there though u will get through this girl! everyone is going through changes especially since summer is coming up.
Ive been on this journey too i turned 20 last December and yesterday i realised how easy some things that i used to be so scared of doing is now! You just jave to keep doing them and tell yourself that its really not that big of a deal and you eventually dont even get that anxious about doing these things it just becomes natural. You got this! I know youll make good progress.
Also for learning how to cook, well aside from my parents teaching me, i watched a lot of cooking basics from Gordan ramsay anf a few of his recipes and kitchen tricks and that has helped me a lot
