Thats probably the best way to make it more overlookable for new viewers without taking out a big chunk of the skill requirement for the rider.
@@wisdomfox857 Who asked? My first drone race I've watched and I feel the same way as Teddy. It's incredible how skillfully they manouver the drones, but it was impossible for me to see where they were headed.

All you need now is little laser blasters and a tag sensor on the back to power down the drone in a controlled fashion and land, that would be sick, and not have to worry about ruining your drone

I takes a lot of practice on the DRL SIM and IRL to master flying FPV drones.

Yeah, it has a few functions: safely catch the drones without crashing them; I reckon there are sensors in it to check who was first in case of a photo finish situation

Memory, they also walk the track before the race. You get better at remembering tracks with more practice

Even more impressive would be to have a blind-run track. Racers do not get to practice the track beforehand (or even preview it). Who has the twitchiest reflexes? How much risk and reward can you handle as a pilot?
i have a cousin and her spouse who are both F-16 pilots, and what little i have told them about this sport, i do not understand why they are not crazy about FPV racing. i guess it's like i play guitar, and someone tried getting me interested in Guitar Hero and i was like, "why?"
