Nice review. I love the styling on the R Line, and the interior is just as good as the GTi. Another bonus for me is being able to have a sunroof without being forced to have leather seats like the GTi does.

I have this exact model and it’s a great car. Could do with a little more power perhaps but all in all it’s a great drive and the touch screen doesn’t bother me at all.

This is like back in the 90s/00s when CE Lancer owners would put Evo body kits on their cars.

im not sure who wrote the script on this, but there was some clunky clunky bits
early on, stating this is the most expensive golf in the range bar the gti and the golf R
well, the golf range has like 5 cars in the golf range life, style r-line, R and gti,
with only three (life, R-line, GTI) on sale at the moment
meaning, it is dab smack in the middle, so, it is the middle of the range (or you could have said, highest spec'ed with the entry level engine, which you kinda did later, but it was a clunky messy confusing way to portray that information)
there was very very little info all said and done regarding the interior of the cabin, (the amount of time spend on the hvac and menus could well have been its own section tbh)
was there ample room for the tall, the short, the fat the skinny? (not really much of a base reference for the presenter either other than "average height" when he is in the rear)
how is the storage?, i mean it is nice there is a wireless charger, but what about other things? is the arm rest adjustable like in other models, what about cabin feel, no mention of the air vents, really, it is extremely LACKING in terms of infomation that might inform a buyer

Pretty average review. Not really a "deep dive". And what is average height? Not very helpful. Reviewer looked pretty short. I'm 6'1" so I need to know his height to get an idea if it's roomy enough for me.

My advice to you Michael, take a N line with 20,000km on the clock for a drive and then take any Golf with 100,000km or more on the clock and see which one still drives like new and which one already feels aged to drive. You’ll, like me, will realise something important when choosing your new drive. Cheers mate. 👍

@@lbarbato6425 done 65k in my Veloster and it still drives better than a new golf r-line . Hyundai isn't what it used to be mate. The r-line is nice and refined but no where near as fun as even a i30 n-line.

@@mharro88 I have driven and owned enough Hyundai’s to know once they have a few Ks on them they feel very unrefined, old etc, that’s what I’m saying. My ex Hyundai excel manual was fun, reliable, cheap to run but quite crude along with all the ones I’ve hired. My VWs I’ve owned, company cars I’ve had just were so much better, my opinion I suppose.
