And he walked his days
Under African Skies"
Thanks for putting the words here.
This is the story of how we begin to remember
This is the powerful pulsing of love in the vein
After the dream of falling and calling your name out
These are the roots of rhythm, and the roots of rhythm remain.
I watched this with my father as a boy way back in the 80s. It's one of the few things I'm grateful to him for. At least he let me watch.
Wonderful memories of talented musicians. Couldn't be better. God bless Africa and all who have passed and contributed. Rest in peace.
Two great personalities doing what comes naturally to them - expressing love and warmth through their music !
If indeed there is a God, may he remember the contributions of these two brilliant people to peace among mankind !!
Of course there IS God, and He has a place set for His lovely magical children such as these.
Yes he will, if there is a God, these are the gifts he gave them! :)
Some of the most amazing art ever created and performed. The roots of rhythm .......
❤️❤️❤️ If only these hearts could dance to the rhythm of this wonderful song 💕💕💕

This is the high energy of soul, heart, rythm and soul, Graceland is perhaps the galatic unity for all and please add this moment to your soul
2024, I'm still here listening to this magical duet❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Dad for all the good music you made me know. You're great!
I was going to write something similar on here. My dad introduced me to all the best music when I was growing up.
If it weren't for my mom watching this I'd never love this album or become a fan of Miriam Makeba
You mean the music he introduced you to.
Same here...my dad bought the VHS Graceland tape and I couldn't stop watching it...brings me chills watching it today. I know all the lyrics...even the zulu ones.
