@@adobomoto I think you're right electric is the future with these big companies. Electric is fast as hell and torquey from the get go but I've yet to see one have the full integration type riding experience as they don't have clutches or gears they're just twist and haul ass. Once they understand why we love bikes and how we become "one with the bike" then I think they'll have a winning product but as of yet it's still lacking alot. @@robmuhfacka5986 I honestly dont have much faith in them yet. Ducati is doing the same thing, but Energica had been working on the electric bike for over 10 years now. Kawasaki is just starting. I just bought a 2022 GSXR-1000 in matte grey and black.... And I don't plan on riding it much and making fat payments on it when needed... Cause I feel it can hold it's value very well when properly maintained and documented mileage and checkups.
I own a lovely K5. I’m surprised at how good it is especially considering it’s a really old bike now. I used to do lots of test and development work for Triumph but have also rode most things and I found that either bikes haven’t moved on all that much or the mid naughties bikes were way ahead of their time.
That just makes them more valuable! I love my 2022 GSXR1000 but the 05-06 were the best Because there were no stupid electronics no abs no wheelie control no launch control! Just A Powerful, Reliable and very efficient Engine on 2 wheels A "Mans" bike with tons of potential in the right hands!
Hey man, nice video. Interested me because I have a K6 GSXR 750 11k miles fully built with a vortex chain & sprocket - HiTech flash, full SC Project exhaust, K&N intake, Dunlop Q3+’s, Dyno tuned, carbon fiber/black/yellow fairings, LED headlight/taillight sequential lighting setup. Don’t think I’ll ever let go of this bike, especially now being discontinued.
I’ve read a little about the “death of the 600” and I think sport bikes definitely have a future but it’s just going to be a little reorganized.. still plenty of used on the market though.. I think we will see more sport bikes becoming “practical”.. more comfy ergos, parallel twins and smaller inline 4s (depending on the success of the zx4r when it comes to the states).. you’ll still have liter bikes though, they’ll be around regardless if a company or two stops making them
Yet only Yamaha cancelled the 600 as of now. Still ZX6R, Gixxer600 and CBRs being produced and sold. The 600 is still an amazing bike, the 750 is also. People who are also hung up on tech are off base and lack skills. The GSXR600 and 750 get bashed for lack of tech(and even the 1000), yet those bikes will shred circles around a lot of newer style bikes around track and canyons in skilled hands just because they're amazingly balanced in ways other bikes are not. It's like the famous revzilla vid where an 05 Gixxer1k at a tighter more technical track at Buttonwillow beats a 2020 V4S Ducati in all conditions--- it'd lose in a track with longer straights but at a normal track it's simply a more balanced bike they found flaws in the Ducati's design even w/HP and tech. And what happened to learning how to ride anyway? I own an 07 Gixxer600 as a track bike and occassional canyon carver, but main ride for the street is a GSX-S750--- the 750 is literally the best deal in bikes it'll run laps around an MT09 or Z900. I've done some mods to the 750 and lightened it up, full exhaust, flashed it, rear sets, etc the thing is one of the best twisty carving weapons I've ever ridden and people think it's an underwhelming bike cuz read BS from promotional articles and people who can't ride bikes to their ability.... I almost bought an Aprilia RS660 as I think that nails all the needs of a practical modern sport bike, we'll see what the R9 ends up being because that looks like it'll hit the checklist. Modern liter bikes are just too powerful--- it's one of two things-- you're too focused on controlling that much power so it's taking away the fun or you're too reliant on electronics to not have problems--- and I say that as a fast rider who is Group A at the track-- a 600 or 750 is just more fun to ring out and shred with that's why I don't think the practicality of the 600 class is going away it'll just adapt and the idea anyone's outgrown a 600 is LOL unless you're a professional racer.
You can still buy a track spec r6, they cancelled the road version, but my hunch is that if other jap manufacturers didn't stop producing their 600ccm i4 options a r6 could also come back, just with a bit of a less power because of the euro norm...@@englishsteel-nz6im
Throwing it back just a bit. 1998 Honda CBR900RR. When I saw that bike, I fell in love with motorcycles ♥️♥️♥️ lol. Especially the all yellow with the white tail unit.
The superbike won't go anywhere for now because of the WSBK and road racing. Suzuki has been struggling in terms of sales for a while now because their bikes are very outdated and not as impressive on paper, and they cannot compete in the modern technology and power race because they are kind of struggling financially from failure in the American car market, and now they got caught in emissions fraud in Europe, resulting in factories closing and over 25k cars being recalled. That's why they left MotoGP and funneled their money and research power into smaller and cheaper stuff to produce, like the GSX-S8 and V-Storm 800de, which are risk-free and guaranteed to sell a lot.
I had a 2008 zx6r sold it took the money from that & added a lil more from what I had saved from work & got the 2006 zx10r "with mods & power commander included" exhaust sound like a Harley, had it for 3 months now, & never will think about selling it im planning on keeping this one for a long time being that its a 1000cc's & better bike than my previous, faster than all these cars on the road period,

The older Ducati's had the dread valve jobs every 8.5k, compared to 17k ish now and those jobs at a shop can cost 2800 in or around. V-twin Ducati sport bikes even the 838 Evo to ride? The experience is magic and WAY more fun than a modern tech'd out overpowered Ducati.
If costs aren't a concern for you or you don't rack up enough miles in a year for it to be a concern there's no issues with an 899 or similar.
Suzuki prepare new gsxr 1000, I hope that will be soon
Sad day
Forgot about the ZX-10R SE.
Sucks. Love my k6. 16,000 miles no hiccups.
A hybrid bike would be cool
Mmm idk
@@_.1447 ye it is hard to pull off and would be bad
I would love to buy an Aprilia
If they were $10,000 cheaper lol
#expensivebike
dude.. ducati and aprilia are the least reliable motorcycles... in my experience at least..
If the focus isn't racing what is it?
Nakeds, adventure, cruisy motorbikes
So what will people be squiding on once super sports are gone lol

Motorcycles are going goodbye in general
What about bmw s1000rr
They're selling faster than BMW can produce them. Prices on the used market are firm. It's my favorite bike.
K8 1k ❤❤❤
Did he say the bikes will no longer be produced. That’s wrong.!
GSXR 1000 is already done in Europe and Japan - you know, japan, where the bike is originally from? Lmfaoooooo
Liar!
I just got my 2025 that wasn’t going to be here. Another wrong poster.
I'm keeping my '03 GSXR600.... NOW IT'S TIME TO, snag me that LITER BIKE...
No ignore this bum, sell ur bikes. I still need a chance to experience these bikes 🥲
Hi kababayan! Is there any way i can message you ? So that i can ask for some tips and advice 🥺

Japan, europe, australia, lots of huge markets - not long til they do it to the US.
