    Isn’t giving positive thoughts over an intrusive thought a form of compulsion?

      @@hellokitkath3329 you can be positive in general, but you should not try to neutralize an intrusive thought with certainty.

      @@hellokitkath3329 it depends, usually not, as long as you're not trying to push the thought away. You can allow it to come/be there & then refocus on the present.

    How do you do ERP when the problem is jealousy and feeling inadequate? I read that it's helpful but there are no ideas on how you expose yourself to that kind of perceived risk from other people or images you find threatening.

      ERP isn’t something I can fully teach here or in chat. There needs to be regular education, plus follow up. This is why I developed programs for this so you can learn it effectively. www.myocdcoach.com. For now, stop giving those thoughts, attention, and except the uncertainty of what could it or maybe happening. I don’t focus on that.
