This is the absolute best come out video ive seen. Im a 22 closeted egyptian, and ive been seeing those kind of videos since forever. They were always sad and over dramatic , leaves me depressed and crowled on myself. But this video was full of fun and twists. Ive had similar experiences to yours but i was smart enough to keep everything private till this day lol, only caught very few times. I use double accounts for everything and that works well. Im planning to finish medical school and go to a country that accepts me the way iam, but its gonna take hella lot of time, maybe even in my 30s, and also i gotta prepare mentally for the people and things im gonna lose. If you can talk about your approach to mentally heal from those in future video that would be amazing. Thanks bee and much much love 😘🥰

I immediately moved from Atlanta Georgia to San Francisco where it was much easier to be gay when I was 22. 15 years later and two college degrees I moved to Hawaii, got married to a great guy scientist at age 55 - so it gets incredibly better, Matin! It's where he was comfortable, no other people, just us his friends who knew about him. He was forced into marriage and had to stop seeing us. We all moved on with our lives as adults. He has 3 kids now but we know he isn't 100% happy. Since then, we can only get updates on social media. I miss him, I remember when he would transform himself into a diva using blankets and sing like a true diva. You are so right about how religions can brainwash people.

I happen to have a friend from Iran, as taboo as gay sex is, it is happening in Iran all the time, he was very pretty, and probably the reason he was sexually abused at age 12 by his uncle and his teacher and when he tried to speak to his mum about it , she just slapped him, and told him not to lie and never ever speak of it again ... this abuse continued for years, at age 18 He left the country and now live in UK... and sadly he has no contact with his family anymore! He told me this happens all the time under the nose of many parents and it is very common and expected in a sexually repressed country as Iran!

It is not about that it is not happening anywhere else, it is about how it is addressed ... unlike in the USA or the rest of the world, Islamic countries pretend it does happen or even does not exist!!!! in the USA an American woman would literally murder her partner or anyone who sexually abused her child, not ignore a such complain from her child out of some personal religious shame and disbelief! Once a workmate who was Indian told me that there is no such thing as a gay man in India and that only people in the West are as perverted! It is an attitude most Islamic people have!

Thank you so much. I really appreciate you telling your story. I'm grateful that I never experienced worse traumas in my own coming out, but I still struggle with the internal shame to this day. Part of my journey to self acceptance is gaining strength from others through their stories. Thank you for being so open and willing to share. Your courage and encouragement will save someone's life some day.❤️🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🩷

Oh my gosh, your journey to express yourself is an inspiring one. I also can relate to you in some sense regarding family, I grew up in a islamic household and my parents thinks of gay people like we are some brainwashed community that is unethical, everytime they preach it I'm just like🧍🏻‍♀. Thankfully I go to a more international/english speaking school so people are more open minded to this. Videos like this would always make me feel like I'm not alone, there are millions out there like us that has an unfair disadvantage in life just because we're different than the majority :( . I would always try to be grateful because I know people out there don't have even 1 support system in their life when it comes to this. As of now, there ain't no way I'm coming out to my family as of now, maybe way later in the future when I'm older and more financially stable so that I'd have my own independence . SO glad that I got recommended this video of yours ahhh!! I've been following you since your first video. Can't wait to see your channel grow Matin! ❤😁 Love from Indonesia!! 🫶

Wow! You’re story really touched me. I always have empathy for others plights in life. I had a very normal American upbringing. Being gay was still tough as a kid. But once I got to high school the US was changing and my parents and friends were accepting. I had a friend who came to live in the US from Jordan. He explained the taboos of homosexuality in Muslim countries. I am so glad you found your peace. You seem like a very genuine soul and I hope you continue to help others feel accepted in the world.

Thank you for being honest and sharing your story. By the way, I had to make the decision to cut some of my family members and friends out of my life when I came out, too. It seems harsh, and is by no means an easy decision, but it is ultimately the right decision. No person, even your father, should be allowed to cause you shame and misery.
