    Welcome Matin! As a fellow gay man glad you made it here! As a whole Canadians are warm, open and friendly, although the haters are going to hate! Canada will change you life and you will change Canada for the better! Love your story!

    As another gay from the middle east who escaped to a first world country via scholarship, I love that you are sharing your experiences. And you are right. It is 1000% worth it.
    I am in EU but considering going to Canada because the citizenship there is much much easier, especially since I already speak English. So thanks for sharing your experience!

    I really love your videos and I'm so happy that you're in Canada. I was lucky to be born here and I usually feel quite safe in Canada as a gay man. Three years ago I sponsored my Syrian boyfriend to come to Canada. We are so incredibly happy to be together and I'm pretty sure that he loves it here :) I really hope that you continue to have good experiences in Canada. You seem like a really kind person and I hope you get the best out of life.

    Your dedication to supporting the Middle East/Muslim LGBTQ+ community through your videos is truly commendable. I understand that there are many students and migrants, like myself, who may hesitate to openly contribute and guide others. Your courage serves as an inspiration. I want to express my sincere wishes for your continued success. Please maintain your authentic character, particularly your warm laughter and smile, as they add a humble and sweet touch. Unfortunately, the Western lifestyle, especially within the local LGBT+ community, can sometimes foster arrogance and self-centeredness, causing people to forget the simple act of smiling.
    Your advice on English proficiency is invaluable, especially for employment. Based on my experience, I recommend immersing oneself in the company of natvie English speakers. Living with them provides the most effective way to grasp the language nuances, accent, and lifestyle. Typically, individuals tend to opt for the convenience of staying with fellow native speakers, but this choice can have adverse effects in the long term. Even better is to have a native English-speaking partner; one becomes fluent with the tongue ;) :P.

    Regarding prices. I was viewing statistics on Canada, and it tends to vary from the province, of course, BC and Ontario are at the top, coincidently mental health issues appear to worsen in these two provinces, the Prairies and Quebec are kind of balanced, and the 60°North provinces they lead the ranks on salaries, but have issues with housing. If cost of living is a thing for your, for your own sake, consider moving somwhere else before it's detrimental on your mental health. On not being on dating apps for the moment, I assume that is because you don't have your PR? if so, okay, hold it until you get it, and run. I've seen testimonials in TH-cam of people making 100k+ living in Vancouver and having hard time with essentials, so don't hesitate and consider other cities.

    • @matraeisi
      @matraeisi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Facts, but there’s actually a lot more that goes into it, the only thing leading people to depression here isn’t the economy sadly, lack of community and other stuff also play a big role.
      I’m not on the apps because I can’t put my focus on someone else other than family right now since I’m trying to focus on my career, maybe in the future I get back to dating.
      For now let’s see how the economy will go but definitely will think about moving thanks to your advice❤️🫶🏻

    I like your smile, and the way you have a small little laugh.. I'm gay too. But I haven't come out to anyone. I'm Roman Catholic. And it's a sin in my religion too. But I knew I was gay when I was 5. So what can a child as young as 5 know about all this.. it's hard.

    Wasn’t scary at first being alone? / why did u choose vancouver

    • @matraeisi
      @matraeisi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      No, to be honest the level of mental independence you gain by being alone is so fulfilling you won’t even feel alone, plus you’ll find friends in no time. I chose Vancouver because it had the best weather, and it still does!
