    I am alone at home in the middle of the night and I’m so much pain. I have followed this video twice and the second time every muscle was remarkably softer, and as I rolled my arm I had popping joints all through my back, shoulder, neck, and skull! Wow. Thank you so much.

    3:00 This is the move that worked for me, after about 3 minutes of this grab and hold I can now lift my arm overhead much more then I could before, it’s been jammed for the past 6-months, unable to move vertically above shoulder height.
    I’ve had 5-sessions 1/2 hour each with a local physio in the recent past with very little improvement, but a few minutes of your massage technique has produced immediate result! Thanks for the video.

    Just found this! And already it seems to have relieved it a bit. I’ve been in more or less constant pain since January this year. I’ve had 3 sessions of energy healing, 2 sessions of physio and 3 sessions with a chiropractor. Still have pain but movement is slightly improved. Haven’t slept right since January which does not help. It’s the worse thing I’ve ever gone through. I’m praying this exercise will help me sleep tonight. Thank you

    I've had biceps tendinitis for about a year and as a result, have moved into extreme shoulder pain, especially in the mornings. Not sure if it is frozen shoulder, impingement, bursitis or what. Anyway, after another night of nearly no sleep, I found your video and tried these exercises. Even with my very limited range of motion right now, I was able to do these massages with a good deal of success. The pain has subsided significantly and my range of motion is better as well. I'm thrilled that you have presented easy-to-understand massages/techniques that require no equipment. Thank you so much. Is it advisable to do this more than once a day?

Actually I went for physio and make worst my shoulder and I try acupuncture too and oh boy the next day my shoulder it make it worst. I think I like the deep massage when I went to massage therapist, it relaxes my body. Your technique its pretty good. If you are out of the acute phase, and there is no inflammation, you can try the massage once a day and monitor your response. If it feels good and you're tolerating it well, you can try twice a day. You can also take a couple of your favorite techniques and do mini-massages several times throughout the day. The general rule of thumb is, listen to your body. If it feels good and you're making progress, you're doing it right.

    interesting! my PT said massage wouldn't help a frozen shoulder. I was going to ask if we could use a massage gun. if we can't grip the muscle with our other hand.

    • @rachelrichardsmassage9660
      @rachelrichardsmassage9660  ปีที่แล้ว

      A massage gun won't be able to work the muscles as specifically as we do in the video, and might be too aggressive, depending on the tool and the severity of your condition. If the self-massage is difficult for you, I recommend seeing a skilled massage therapist. In my experience, doing both physical therapy and massage therapy yields the best results.

    That was absolutely brilliant, I know I'm on the road to recovery after doing these exercises. I am seeing a physio therapist soon, but this has been a great start. Thank you.

      If you watch the video, you'll see that I lifted my arm only to show you the targeted muscle and where to place your fingers. I never ask you to lift your arm.

    I have bursitis in both arms, one worse than other. Some of these movements were great, others I couldn’t really do because it hurt to reach over to other arm.

      Do what works for you! Even better, see a professional massage therapist so you can relax both arms 😊

      Thank you for your feedback, Mariam. This massage is very gentle, but I understand your concern. If you are afraid that you can't follow the instructions, and that you might hurt yourself, better to go see a skilled licensed massage therapist.

      Don't worry - there's no place in this massage where you're asked to raise your arm. I lift my arm at one point only to show you the location of the muscle we are targeting.

    how do you lift your arm up with frozen shoulder?

    • @rachelrichardsmassage9660
      @rachelrichardsmassage9660  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't. I only lifted my arm in the video so you could see the targeted muscle and how to place your fingers. I hope your shoulder is feeling better!

      I'm sorry, I have no way of knowing what is causing your arm pain. I recommend seeing you doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment options.
