    LEAVE IT
I can feel no sense of measure
    No illusions as we take
    Refuge in young man's pleasure
Breaking down the dreams we make
    Real
    One down one to go
Another town and one more show
    Downtown they're giving away
    But she never came back
No phone can take your place
    You know what I mean
    We have the same intrigue
    As a court of kings
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
    Two down there you go
McArthur Park in the driving snow
    Uptown they're digging it out
    Better lay your claim
    Get home you're not alone
You just broke out of the danger zone
Be there to show your face
    On another dreamy day
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Hello hello heaven
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Hello hello heaven
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
I can feel no sense of measure
    No illusions as we take
    Refuge in young man's pleasure
Breaking down the dreams we make
    Real
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Hello hello heaven
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Hello hello heaven
    One down one to go
Another town and one more show
    One down one to go
Another town and one more show
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
    Ah leave it
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Hello hello heaven
    Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
    Leave it

90125 is the eleventh studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 1983 on Atco Records. It was the first studio album since their 1981 breakup and the first to feature Trevor Rabin, and also marked the return of vocalist Jon Anderson, who had quit the band prior to their tenth studio album of 1980. It also marked the first time in twelve years that original keyboardist Tony Kaye had appeared with the group.
The album was titled after its Atco Records catalogue number (for example, 7-90125-1 for the LP).

Hey Kris. Like your insights regarding Yes ability/talent for layering their vocals- from studio production. Having not seen them live in concert, I wonder if vocal arrangements were too complex to pull off live. I'll have to see them in concert on DVD to get that answer. Either way, Trevor and company were absolutely brilliant, and Im glad they were an integral part of my 80's era music scene. Peace

I sometimes wake up with songs in my head I either don't really like or haven't heard in decades. Some ABBA song was in my head recently, a song I don't really know. Sometimes it's a Yes song I loved but haven't heard in years (or Julian Lennon or some Beatles song that was never popular).
It's weird that somewhere in my brain is the imprint of this stuff I couldn't recall to consciousness if my life depended on it but pops up upon my awakening.

I still remember seeing the premier of this on Friday Night Videos way, way, way back in the day and being blown away by it. This is actually, from a technical standpoint, the predecessor to the tech that was used in The Matrix, except that they only had two cameras to capture the front and the back of each band member (hence the 2D look) instead of multiple cameras to capture an arc of the actor and environment. Damn good video!

Exactly! in 1982, Yes had to make 17 different videos to achieve all this different animation into one completed animated music video. Now any person can do this with animated software, but consider this video a pioneering step forward! At 3:18, the separate animation of each figure, must have been the hardest sequence of all of them!

One of the best musical experiences I had as a child was one weekend that I went to spend with my dad back in the early 80's. He had the best stereo system in Kentucky. His new stereo came with a fancy CD player. Those were unheard of in those parts back then. All the wonderful lights and speakers as big as VW Beetles. The first two CD's he bought were Judas Priest Turbo Lover and Yes 90125. I can promise you that everyone in Bedford, Kentucky listened to those two CD's with me for the next 48 hours. hahahaaaaa. DAMN. Nothing sounded better than Leave It and Turbo Lover on a CD player back then. Totally unbelievable for my young ears. Then I saw Pink Floyd live. Wow, I just realized that 2018 sucks even more than I orignally thought.
