Old Timers like me who were around in 1972 for the YES classic “Roundabout” don’t usually think later songs from a group measure up to the originals but “Love Will Find A Way” takes the prize. It is a truly Timeless Classic!!

I'm 60 and I hear ya. This band came out of the 60s and remained relevant in the 80s. Many of them added their unique sounds to the that decade and helped make it great. They're all old now, but some of them show no signs of quitting.
Loved this song first time I heard it back in 1987. It will always have a special significance for me. I remember walking across campus listening to my generic Walkman and this came on. I was getting over a painful break-up and this just resonated. Love did find a way, I got married a couple of years later. That was over 27 years ago and I'm still happily married. Cheers!
Funny. Exact same situation for me. Had a long term relationship that was going to shit right when this came out. Also while I was in College. Shared experiences.
Exactly.....good thing it didn't work out, she wasn't right for me. Didn't know that then...but things have a way of working out. And I still love the song.

I know purist Yes fans think that these songs were a sell out in the prog rock years, but Trevor Rabin saved Yes by infusing a rock edge with vocals that can't be matched as far as harmonies go in their earlier stuff, as Anderson and Squire frame Rabin's voice pretty darned perfectly. This is one of the greatest tunes I have ever heard! A example of Yes's ability to crank out a great tune that totally sounds different than any tune that has ever been released . I forgot about this tune then came across it yesterday and I had not heard it in years . It blew me away . I must of played it 30 times and found it hard not to come back and listen again and again. ABSOLUTELY A GREAT SONG !
This song gets lost because it came out not long after and gets overshadowed by "Owner of a Lonely Heart", a song that I don't particularly care for other than for the nostalgia that it triggers in me.
My fav yes song from their pop era, by far is "rhythm of love". Tho this isn't bad :) And from 90125 I like every single song more than "owner..." esp "hearts".
Trevor Rabin is such an underrated and underappreciated guitarist. This song is beautiful to listen to and crank up. I haven't heard this in probably 15-20 years, and now I listen to it everyday in the car.
Wonderful, uplifting, and splendid sound. And as I tell my daughters today, this is an older song. A great one! And to quote another great lyricist and group of the era: “takes me right back”…. Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music.
I remember when this was about to be released. I was the Promotion Director for a rock radio station on Long Island, traveled with the Program and Music directors into NYC for a first listen of this, the first single from the new YES LP - it was great sitting in that record execs office - it's great all these years later.
One of the injustices of the music charts. Why this didn't go top 10 is beyond knowing. The melody of this song will keep you humming it all day. Yes did not release all that many singles (nine from 1971 to 1987) as they weren't really a singles band. But when they did it was a real treat to hear them on the radio.
Me too! This song gives me such a positive vibe. Reminds me of my years growing up in the eighties and makes me feel better no matter how bad I feel, and gives me hope that the world can find a way to love one another!
I love Yes! Jon Andersons vocals with Alan on drums, Squire on Bass, Kaye on Keys, and Trevor Rabins amazing virtuosity on Guitar, combined with their harmonies, absolutely amazing! There is not a band on the planet that sounds like this! Saw them together on the Talk tour at the Gorge in George. It was a spiritual experience! Love me some Yes!
Es increible que uno de los riffs de introduccion con guitarra mas famosos de la decada del 80 haya sido creado con una simple nota Sol Mayor y lo demas juega con las cuerdas. Realmente Trevor Rabin es un genio
I FOUND IT. I FOUND THIS BEAUTIFUL, FABULOUS AND WONDERFUL SONG AFTER 7 OR 8 YEARS. I didn't know the lyrics but i inmediatly recognized it. I'M CRYING. When people listen to their childhood songs, I put this. I was 4 or 5 and the solos blessed my soul to live the life i have today. Thanks guys.
Why have I never heard this song before? This is an absolute banger. And also they went from "Owner of a Lonley heart" to "Love will find a way". Thinking positive, I see :).

I absolutely agree!
In Trevor, they signed the musical equivalent of Zinadine Zidane :-)
Tote Agree Robert a superb Guitarist & Vocalist..RIP Chris a year gone now
+Lord fauntleroy Chris a good man, always positive.
Mine too!!!
He's got a great great voice..
This track did top the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, though.
@@ClassicTVMan1981X YES that part was nice !
What a rockin' song, love the guitar work. Like it better than "Owner of a Lonely Heart" and I love "Owner."
This song reminds me my childhood, and still rocks😍
Me too! This song gives me such a positive vibe. Reminds me of my years growing up in the eighties and makes me feel better no matter how bad I feel, and gives me hope that the world can find a way to love one another!
Memories ❤️
Yeh me too.90125.....wat an album
It reached #30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1987 and was #1 for 3 weeks on the U.S. Mainstream Rock chart.
Awesome ✨
I keep watching this and looking at other pictures of him and that just doesnt look like Chris Squire...he looks different
@@danielmarlow55 Well, It was 1988. so 30 years ago, makes a difference.
Queen exemplified every point you made. Their music is just as richly textured and layered.
I miss Chris Squire
Definitely a time tested song and it's appsalutly with stood 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
30 years later, and today it still rocks!!!. LONG LIFE TO THE 80'S PROGRESSIVE ROCK!!!.

Great Chris Squire. The best bassist ever
True statement.
Why have I never heard this song before? This is an absolute banger.
And also they went from "Owner of a Lonley heart" to "Love will find a way". Thinking positive, I see :).
RIP Chris. We'll miss you.
The greatest comebacks in Rock and Roll history..90125!
I always loved Yes and looking at Trevor Rabin in this video adds to the ambiance.
A little bit handsome...

When Yes embraced Pop Music, they did it 10 times better than anyone else.
Excellent band ❤ John Anderson & yes
That guitar riff/arpeggio is pure gold.
I still say that this is some of the band's best work.
