    OWNER OF A LONELY HEART
    Move yourself
    You always live your life
    Never thinking of the future
    Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances win or loser
    See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you - and that's the only way
    Shake - shake yourself
    You're every move you make
    So the story goes
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Much better than - a
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    tumby
Say - you don't want to chance it
    You've been hurt so before
    Watch it now
    The eagle in the sky
How he dancin' one and only
    You - lose yourself
    No not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
    Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
You've got to want to succeed
    tumby
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Much better than - a
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    After my own decision
    They confused me so
My love said never question your will at all
In the end you've got to go
    Look before you leap
And don't you hesitate at all - no no
    Owner of a lonely heart
    tumby
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Much better than - a
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    [repeat]
    Owner of a lonely heart
    tumby
    Sooner or later each conclusion
    Will decide the lonely heart
It will excite it will delight
It will give a better start
    Owner of a lonely heart
    tumby
    Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
    Just receive it
    Owner of a lonely heart

It was the first studio album since their 1981 breakup and the first to feature Trevor Rabin, and also marked the return of vocalist Jon Anderson, who had quit the band prior to their tenth studio album of 1980. It also marked the first time in twelve years that original keyboardist Tony Kaye had appeared with the group.
The album was titled after its Atco Records catalogue number (for example, 7-90125-1 for the LP).

@Bishop Dong Magic Shlong. That doesn't prove anything at all. Because perhaps he never SAW the movie "Night School". MTV played everywhere in the world. On everybody's televisions. Not everybody has heard of the movie "Night School". I'VE never even heard of it. And it's VERY possible that Ron Jay has never heard of it either.

      @frauleinmona 5 ปีที่แล้ว +16

@Bishop Dong Magic Shlong I have a right to comment. Everybody's opinion is apparently worth only two cents when somebody doesn't like it. His point was that he would have never heard of Yes if it wasn't for MTV. And I was backing that up. Just because that movie came out doesn't mean anything. The point is is that he credits MTV for discovering Yes. and if he had never had this channel he would have never heard of them otherwise. And I believe him.

it's true, about us who were teens in the 80's, for me, mid 80's. Otoh, it was a tricky time, of massive social changes in the West, and of geopolitical changes of biblical proportions. It was not an easy time at all. The music was very new and eclectic, and many performers were doing their best ever perhaps. It was an mind opening decade, i think. After it, harshness emerged, steadily, puncuated by the sept 11 violence and ensuing difficult times, both economically and socially. And now we reallllly see it.

I had always thought YES was a one-hit wonder & this song was the hit. I met my first love at Summer camp when I was 14. He would literally eat, sleep & breathe YES were it possible. He had the shirts, he knew all the lyrics; if ever there was a YES superfan he was it. (He even made a huge chalk drawing in my driveway of the 1972 YES logo). I went back to Summer camp every year just to see him. When I turned 18 I was too old to go to camp. I hated the thought that I'd never see him again. A few years later I found him on the internet & we met again. It's true that you never forget your first love. Even though he lives far away & is a husband & father now (I'm honestly surprised that his son's name isn't Jon Anderson) I'll always wish only for his happiness. Sorry for the tangent, back to the story. We were playing billiards one time & they actually unplugged the jukebox because he kept playing YES songs. Who does that?! They were making money off him at $1 a song. SMH. He made a mix tape for me (yep, this was way back in the day) of YES songs. I played it over & over. I learned to love YES because of him & still 20 years later, have many of their CDs. Anyways, you guys are awesome & you deserve every accolade you've been given! I can't say the same for you, though, Moraz, you arrogant schmuck.
