Chaos is Back With Questionable Penalties Forza Motorsport

- As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

Great video dude, the Lexus is definitely hard to handle when the rear tires hit minor.
Thanks man. Yeah I learned the hard way on that. I mean it’s a beast on good tires lol. Thing needs sandbags in the boot lol
I just tried the lexus for first time after watching this and rather enjoyed it. I've seen a lot of lag on forza servers in FM and FH5 the last week or more, maybe they need an upgrade due the the massive influx of returning players, or is that wishful thinking lol. I have excellent internet, all wired and yet I often get "poor network" message. Cheers Flash :)

Yeah the poor network is more than likely because your on a server across the pond lol.
Perhaps Forza should give warnings for track limits on a particular corner before giving a penalty. Then if you get track limits on the same corner, the penalty gets higher?
Yeah I believe that is a better corse of action. Yeah pretty much like in the real world to an extent bud. Warnings should always be given before punishment.
The lexus was a brave choice for spa, doesn’t matter if it’s slow or fast corners that thing just straight up wants to send you to Barry R
Yeah well lesson learnt there for me I can tell you that. It was a handful and I think I did well keeping it under control lol

I think they award less of a time penalty than before at least. Some more warnings instead of half second penalties.
Yeah it is better but it still has funkiness bud.

It’s improved by around 15 percent I would say. After been told to drive faster cars it still seems funky. Like how can you claim 300 percent collection of more data than previously to assign penalties yet the same incorrect penalties are still being issued. I don’t know. I think their tech tree of how the penalty system is calculating is wrong and needs to be re written
if it wouldn’t get you a strike you should have put the doctor who theme tune for lord billa every time he ghosted and reappeared 😂

No kidding. It was that Ferrari I could overtake man. I knew if I tried I would get wrecked lol. So I let the other car through. They can be the guinea pig lol and I’ll watch and wait
Thnaks for another good video! In my opinion, the penalty system, even if not perfect, is good enough. It's right the most oart of times, let's say 80%, and this is enough to keep the races quite clean. I might be wrong: this the most advanced penalty system in racing simulations.
And, ok, I know how frustrating is getting unfair penalties. It's a risk we have to accept.
Will it improve? I'm a little bit skeptical, at lest in this current generation of consoles.

While I agree with what you are saying. The biggest issue with the penalty system is it’s not human. It’s a yes or no scenario. So it’s never going to be human or fair. Even humans are not fair. But I do feel it needs to hand out warnings before punishing. Which I think would be more palatable.
It is the most advanced. I mean acc or other sims blame both drivers if there is ever contact. While off tracks are only punishable if time is gained. Where as forza punishes for losing time and going of track where really it needs to be a little less slap you around and more of a slap on the wrist.
I think it’ll improve but half the penalties I don’t pay attention to. Unless I get a 4 second for something that is not my fault. That’s a race I quit as there is no point carrying on.

There are some odd penalties but it's definitely waaaaay better
Oh yeah not saying it isn’t but incorrect penalties need to be sorted out man. How can forza say that instant is rare. It’s still happening and is just wrong
@Flashms I had a guy at Sebring yesterday Randy Orton me off the track twice on one lap. I got 2.25 seconds in penalties and he got nothing
@@OBWanJabroni sounds about right. This is what they have supposed to off fixed with their new 300 percent more data capture lol.

Monza is going the be one of the easiest back to front races ever lol. Ghost through turn 1 and your golden lol. Although I would love for it to come. It’s a brilliant track.
@GeoffreyAnderson2112 Monza on Forza is a scary proposition. Turns 1 and 2? I will be avoiding Monza when it is on on multilayer. Great for private lobbies though

Dude the penalties are a joke..everytime I get punted off I get the biggest penalty. I've almost had it with this game and I've only been playing it 3 weeks lol...fm7 is calling me back
Yeah I mean I don’t get it. Many people told me touring car penalties or slower cars are great but faster cars such as gt3 and up is just dreadful so I tried it out and I must say WTF lol.
3 weeks man. Oooff. I’m a 11 months deep. Lost plenty of hair of my head. Gained 3 million wrinkles but I’m suppressing it well. To be honest man all jokes aside. I do really enjoy myself on here and I hope that comes across in the video. Just little things. I don’t pay much attention to now lol.
@@Flashms yep..held off buying it for almost a year in the hope players penalties would be sorted out lol ranking system doesn't work. players are still clueless idiots ..I do r class cars the most..but it's extremely rough..my controller's almost copped it a few times hahaa..good game relatively bad player base..im down to a B with 4980 skill points.the fk🤣🤣🤣
@mbrforza4601 the biggest problem with penalties it’s not human. No penalty system is good man. All have their own flaws. Some more than others. Half the time I don’t even pay attention to it. Same as the ranking or safety rating. Means nothing really as like you say the ranking system is flawed. I tent not to give players to much grief as players age and skill vary wildly. Kids play the game and so do older people while others it’s their first time. I got by the policy if you want a “sim” then go iracing. Even there it’s not perfect lol. You have to be fair.
Controller almost took the brunt of it all lmfao. Come join us on discord man. You will see a totally different side to forza with us lot. It’s a right giggle.
It’s a good rating mate but again meaningless and as useful as a chocolate teapot lol
@@Flashms I agree no penalty system is perfect..but they need to keep working on it lol a half second penalty being punted off u can deal with not a near 4 second one in a close race its frustrating me at the moment lol..yeh I'll have a pop into the discord at some point man i enjoying ur content 👍

Wasn’t poor network, they were pausing it as it’ll slow them right down quicker than is actually possible when you do that.
Edit: Reaper got 2 seconds of penalties for creaming the Ferrari that had gone wide & they got another second for hitting you.
Never knew you could do that. But their was network issue as they were pinging all over the place. They also had really bad apex syndrome lol.
So they’ve got a whole arsenal of fancy driving techniques.. wow. How did they learn the rubber-band forwards and backwards past other vehicles? That’s pretty damn impressive
It’s the back to the future machine. It’s just malfunctioning lol.
The Lexus is a pig and in my opinion one of the worst GT cars but I do prefer handling to speed
Oh yeah I love a good handling machine. To be fair when the Lexus is up on speed it handles well. It’s low speed it’s just an absolute animal lol.

Yeah lol. Spa was not as exciting as thought it would be. It was more like getting a crazy dog then flicking it in the nuts lol. Then wondering why it’s biting me lol.
Short RA... how does tracks like this even make it into any racing game.. Like maple valley short, any oval, monza, tracks like these are beyond boring tbh.. this layout should never be in gt3 lobbies
And the still terrible penelty system doesnt do a boring track any favors...
Those tracks are fun such as maple valley short. They great for slower cars. Like minis and stuff. To be fair road America is a fun track bud. Nice and wide and is a case of taking opportunity. Oval race was hard not gona lie. When I did that video oooof my wrist were burning lol. Again provided a new level of difficulty. Again not for gt3 but they should actually implement nascar. That would be dope.

@Speedyey slip streaming, trying to push the slightest gap. I mean that ending was amazing. Neck and neck. Shame the penalty ruined the position but never mind.
