Sand Destroys Rivals Race in Forza Motorsport

- As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass. I do not have the VIP, or cars pass, this is the basic game as available to everyone.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

Setting my Final Drive speed is my main priority when I am practicing before a race. I’m usually trying to get at least two laps in, to find the longest straight.
Yeah I have to be honest I should. I just became lazy lol. It’s definitely costing me a few tenths per lap for not having it right. Especially in acceleration. I mean it’s great for starting I usually get a great launch of the line. But the rest is a little slow.

The reason you get that over rotation is because you are to fast on and off throttle. If you're lifting and coasting come off throttle slowly. Also some times it helps to keep about 5-10% throttle when "coasting" especially in a turn like Eau Rouge at Spa where it over rotates back in the transition.
Yeah he could have let of due to the understeer fhey experienced through that corner. Yeah I had that a few times in Eau rouge. It’s hard to feel the pedal on a g920. The accelerator is so light. A fart could push the pedal down lol.

Man I tried it, like 80 percent sure I tried it before, it ended. Maybe not in the way I would have liked it lol, but i did manage to finish lol
Have you played since the update came out yesterday and if so what’s initial thoughts?
No I have not played since the update. But on my discord (please join, link in description) a member has shown me footage of an incident that was not their fault. And they still received a penalty for it. 2.25 iirc. So seems to working well still lol.
@@Flashms yeah, i’ve only done one race but saw ISuckAtDriving put up a video with examples from 3 races where it looked like it had gotten worse
I think the system is just so crudely made that fixing it is more of a hassle. Where they should rewrite it and start fresh. Then they can get it right to start with.
