      Rep had a huge advantage engineering a bar with the best attributes from the other bars!

    Nice thorough review of these bars!
    I upgraded from titan v2 to the rep fitness cambered swiss and im glad i did. The main selling point for me was the widest grip on the rep bar, however prior to receiving it and trying it out, i was a little worried that the widest grip would be too wide to be comfortable enough for me to use. For the titan bar, the widest grip was far too wide, so only the second one was usable for me...
    For the rep bar, luckily, the widest grip is more narrow than the widest grip on the titan and it ended up being perfect for me. (It was important for me to benefit from the extra range of motion, since with the two inner grips you lose that). And so i never use the two inner grips as they arent really comfortable for me. Happy with my decision.

      Your not the only one really happy with the grip locations on the new REP bar.😜💪🏼

    This is right on time. I have the BoS bar but am getting a little tired of balance issues and those hand-stinging edges.

    Nice video. Looking forward to video 2. I have the kadillac bar and have a custom bench rack at 47". Its definitely really tight and miss racked once. I think rogues adjustable handle bar will be a game changer. I basically only use the middle handle on my kadillac bar. The wide is a little to wide and the narrow one is to narrow.

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks this was hard not to favour the Kadillac bar on reputation alone and give it bias. I took a realistic approach and part 2 I go over what I found when comparing them in hand head to head!

    Love the video! Thanks for doing this! I haven't seen the second one yet, but I'm torn between the Rep and EliteFTS bars. I will probably get both eventually, but I dont know which one I should get first? Also I will probably get the Titan bar mostly for biceps and triceps work since I've heard the cambered bars can be hard on your wrists with curls and extension. Any thoughts on that?

    Awesome, awesome video! I feel like a lot of people bought the REP bar thinking it’s a Kabuki clone but really, it’s not. Would you consider reviewing the Black Widow Cambered Swiss Bar and comparing it to these? Or at least the other arched bars?

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you. Part 2 I break down what bars felt the best in training! Using them all at once made all the difference in which bar had the best feel in hand. The Kadillac wasn’t my favourite!🤯. I would for sure review the Black Widow bar. 👍🏻

      @@MacStrengthCo wow, huge surprise! Can’t wait to see which one. My money’s on the EliteFTS bar! It was hard for me when deciding between that bar and the Kadillac but I went Kadillac. I love it but still don’t think it was worth the money.

    THIS is the video I’ve been searching for! I’ve got the Rep cambered bar but I’ve always been interested in Kabuki’s and Elite FTS. Main thing that kept me away from Kabuki was the width of the bar and me having a Rep PR 5000. Did you ever have any issues with hitting the uprights with the flat sandwhich j cups with the Kadillac bar? If you did, did you find that the monolift attachment helped prevent that?

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome! Appreciate the view. I cover all the clearances in this video. Yes the Kadillac will hit the uprights if your not careful.

    Are you going to supplement this with a review of the new rogue adjustable camber?

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That bar has too many negatives going for it for me to consider it. I don't like the skinny handles and wide frame on the Rogue bar plus it's way overpriced for an accessory bar in my opinion.

  • @tommymanno3357
    @tommymanno3357 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have a rep rack as well with the titan cambered bar. I hit the rack or j cup so much that's the only reason I'd sell it to get the rep bar. I don't know why they make these so damn wide

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I found the same thing and wanted to know how they all fit. The Titan, BOS and Kabuki were very tight bars and a pain to rack on those sets where you are working hard on the last few reps.

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m far from a welding expert but have 20+ years of experience inspecting welds. I think equipment can be hit and miss depending on who welded it but this Kadillac bar had excellent welds.👍🏻

    The majority of jcups are flat they should put a flat side on these chambered bars where jcups will touch so they don't flip... No one does though at any price point
