    • @jamestonbellajo
      @jamestonbellajo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The EliteFTS one is great and you should include that like everyone said but it’s also similar to the Titan one you have. The one from Black Widow Training would be a better choice IMO since it’s different enough and you’d support a small American business like you’ve been trying to do more. But honestly, just get both.

    I have zero interest in a cambered bar, but it's a testament to your writing and video skills that I found it interesting. Thanks for saving me $550, especially after my wife thinks I'm a criminal for replacing my old (perfectly good) chainsaw with a new electric one! 👍

    Another awesome video. I have the bar and really like it. I don’t “need” it but hopefully it will keep my shoulders in good health for longer. Truth be told I’m a Kabuki fan boy. I don’t want to be presumptuous but I bet the Rep one is the best bang for your buck however.

      Hahah I wouldn't qualify myself as a fan boy of any company which is maybe why I'm a decent review (if that's what I am).

    Great review as usual....I've owned the Kaddy Bar for around 6 months and it was a game changer for my 61 year old shoulders on bench day. I would love to have the knurled version but your review reinforces my take that the change just isn't critical. I can still get my calluses shredded by the knurling on my Shoulderok, power bar...

    1. Yes please do an updated rogue narrow cambered bar review and comparison...
    2. You're right Rogue involvement is likely better than relying on Kabuki. The worst part about Kabuki is getting items after ordering. Last time I bought from Kabuki it looked to be in stock with no wait time but took 3 months. I emailed them several times and was about to cancel the order. They exceeded every estimate they gave me and never bothered to update the website to show it wasn't in stock and was on back order. I wouldn't have ordered it had it not been in stock I would have waited for inventory then ordered had I known.

    • @GlucksGym
      @GlucksGym  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kabuki is notorious for not being fun to work with as a consumer but they do make some innovative stuff. I think longterm this is better and it's resulted in a better bar.

    It would be great if you could do a vieo rundown of all the different cable attachment types and comment on which one are useful and for what purpose. Rogue vs Rep vs Prime vs Mag etc / pronate vs supinate / wide vs narrow / static grip vs rotating etc… Not a single youtube channel out there has done that thoroughly yet. With Rep’s Ares coming out there will for sure be a demand for that type of knowledge. In any case, I appreciate you !

    Keen to hear the review on the MG-4CN, and the roller J cups. A yoga block and a knee wrap can take care of the extra depth if it’s an issue, but you can still utilise the nicer grip position.

  • @jamestonbellajo
    @jamestonbellajo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    You gotta grab the Black Widow cambered multigrip bar for that throw down too!
    My buddy got the Rogue Kadillac and I have one from Kabuki. Personally for me, the Rogue one is a downgrade for me. The powdercoat Rogue uses for its specialty bars including their Kadillac is great but it’s nowhere near as nice as Kabuki’s. The knurling feels like the one on my old TB-2 which is nice too but I much prefer the feel of the powdercoat from Kabuki personally. I’m the only one that uses it and my hands aren’t particularly moist so I’m not worried about it wearing.

    Kabuki's customer service said this to me a few weeks ago: "Thank you for reaching out to us at Kabuki Strength. Per our recent press release, we have partnered with Rogue and they will be manufacturing the Kadillac Bar for us going forward. We timed this specifically with the release of the new version of the bar, that does come with knurled handles. We are in the midst of finishing the last batch of Kadillac Bars being manufactured here in Oregon, so all current orders being placed for the bar will be the new version, manufactured in Ohio. No matter whether the bar is ordered from the Kabuki Strength site or the Rogue site, it will be the same version of the bar that is created in Ohio."

    I’ve got one, and in the same boat as Winnie. The widest handles don’t feel good on my shoulders. But the other 2 handles are awesome. I’m sure it’s just psychological, but it just feels more natural to bench with this bar. I was in the boat of “I must use it for all the movements” because it was so expensive. But I got over that…after a couple of years.

    You know what would really be the best bench press barbell. Envision a bar like that one but with handles inside of circles that allowed for the handle to rotate as you pressed and you could slide the circles horizontally to set the handles at the perfect width.
    So you would start in a neutral position at the bottom and finish with you palms facing your feet if any of that even makes sense
    Kind of like the perfect pushup thing but a barbell.

    I regret my Rogue $600 chambered bar :/. You’re telling me I can get narrow bar ?!??

      Hahaha we can wait and see how good the narrow version is or just exchange it and pretend you got two bars for the 1

    Once you have a curl bar, a cambered bar, and that safety squat bar, is there still a purpose for a standard olympic bar?
    I guess it still works for military presses. But I think that’s it.

      For me the barbell is and always has been a staple in my training. Many people would (and do) argue specialty bars aren't necessary because of it.
      Whatever keeps you in the gym and working towards your goals is all I care about.

    Priced too high. Will wait on a $299 boneyard sale. Still would buy the REP instead.

      Definitely expensive. Hopefully if it makes the boneyard it'll be discounted better than Kabuki does their blemish bars.

    Forget the bar. How many pillow-talk teeth warrant a magical visit by the Clear Coat fairy?

      @@GlucksGym Ok, so I'm blind, too. I thought I saw keyed holes indicating Rogue, but then I looked again and passed off as blurry vision. Then I went back to your new / overhauled gym video, only saw one rack total, and thought you were pulling a fast one.

    Wouldn't touch that junk. Nice sharp edges to rest on your chest, the extra inches gained in range of motion is just a gimmick. Dumb hand positioning, use dumbells if you want that. Junk

    • @GlucksGym
      @GlucksGym  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The edges do not rest on your chest with this version, the center x brace does and distributes the weight evenly and comfortably.
      It's not only the range of motion, these bars provide a lot of benefits in training. Sure dumbbells can do some things similarly but so can't barbells and that type of logic can be applied to all equipment and styles of training.
      This bar also does things dumbbells, barbells, and other equipment doesn't and for some it's a highly valuable and well liked piece.

    Gluck, I ordered the
    AB 3000 and some attachments from
    REP Fitness over 1 month ago. I have never used REP before and I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED as I have been trying for over a week to speak with someone. I have called MULTIPLE times during their office hours and sent Emails. They took the money off my credit card and I have NOTHING. I am almost ready to take legal action as my uncle and cousin are attorneys so legal action for me wont cost anything. First red flag was when I ordered I tried to use your affiliate code and it would not take it, I got angry at U but I see now it was not your fault. Sorry btw for that, but I never did get a discount from any affiliate code. Now they wont send my product. Should I start legal action. What kind of company wont let U speak with anybody.
    What can I do????
    Please help me
    Thank You for your time!!!!!!!
