  • 3 UPDATES: Mom and dad ask me to help them pay for renovations so I agree but when I go over unannounced one day to see the progress I find a 'For Sale' sign
Do you want me to share your story? Kindly email it to me at rgirlsubmissions@gmail.com and if I like your story I'll feature it on my channel! :)
I've always been quite distant with my parents, they weren't very affectionate people and this was the case towards all my siblings, who are much older than me, by the way, around eight to ten years. So needless to say, I never really knew what my parents were like towards them since by the time they grew older, they had married and had their own children by the time I was old enough to understand. So, I grew up that way too and was always awkward around affection.

Story one, Congratulations OP for gaining relationship with your siblings and losing those grifter parents. Good riddance.

The importance of family?! Dude you literally never talked to your siblings and your parent scammed you. You should have learned family is who you choose.

They didn't talk to him he was 5 they were already grown its not his fault its there fault they didn't talk to their younger brother

      Their fault not OP

OP behaves in the same manner as her husband and he calls that selfish. Meaning he knows he is selfish. Good thing they have a prenup.

The update makes no sense. So ops siblings knew their parents were horrible and lied to them to get their money, yet when they heard op was suing them to get back money he gave them they immediately took their parents side and couldn't understand their horrible parents also lied to op to steal his money?

While i dont have this kind of family, i would not just give people money. If they need the money i pay it directly, not to them.

The update make no sense. The siblings and several of their relative had already been scammed by their parents, the siblings had to leave the house for their health issues, but still got mad at their younger sibling (which apparently they had never even tried to have a relationship with) when he decided to sue their parents?? They wanted to sue their parent themselves. Something doesn't add up here.

In the first story, I can't help but wonder *IF* the OP's parents had something to do with the older siblings not talking with the OP besides the age gap.
I mean apparently the parents have also scammed the older siblings as well. So it makes sense from the OP's parents point of view. To keep the OP und their older siblings from having any sort of relationship.

my dad was a cheapskate, he loved saying, "what's yours is mine, and what's mine's me own."

In what country does a lawsuit cause someone to go to jail? Not the US. Civil and criminal court are two different things. They'd sue in civil court. Criminal would require going to the police and the DA pressing charges.
This doesn't make any sense and sounds bogus to me.

Why do people try so hard to get love from family who don’t care about them 🤦

We need to have a foundation of love and safety as children. When we'r don't we are broken. We have low self love and self worth. We unconsciously hope that having the love we didn't have as a child will fix us. It won't. We have to move from it. But, we have to learn that in our own.
You, thankfully, had a strong foundation and don't understand this but trust me this is much bigger than just "getting over it".

Just get a judgement and put a lein on the parents house since they're selling it. Easy peasy.

Never assume that your siblings were taking care of your parents without asking them first, getting their advice and asking them how much money you should give.

Damn op isn't too bright, how he didn't realize that they waited till he graduated college and got a good job to start using him I can't understand. They never cared for him before but all of a sudden he's out of school and they come calling, and then start begging for money, cmon man he should have seen that coming. But damn such horrible, lazy, greedy, narcissistic entitled parents deserve to rot in hell.

The problem is OP wants so badly to have a relationship that OP overlooks any and all red flags. It's sad when OP is so terribly used by parents because he's going to be betrayed again.
OP, sue them. Cut them off.

Story 2: playing favorites? Her daughter is and should be her favorite-no apologies. There is no reason for her sending money to stepdaughter because the mom and dad should be the ones supporting her.

S2 NTA Suzy's mom needs to send her daughter money. Suzy's not your responsibility she's your husband's and her mother. Ask your husband if he plans on sending money to your daughter for school? No well there's his answer. I hope your daughters father is helping too.

Hannah... Let her get arrested for shop lifting. Get the police involved, they can help her find a new home. Send her to her father's. Don't bother doing fun things together. That's just rewarding bad behaviour. She needs to learn consequences.

Ask his daughter how much money her father is sending her. I’ll bet he is planning on using the money he wants you to give to his daughter for himself. He sounds like a scammer.

Normal extortion for love. I would have walked away from my parents. These people are to be abandoned. It really sounds like fraud from the parents. Two bad this young person is so gullible to be taken in by this scam.
This finally makes sense, scamming parents who use all the children and spend on a lavish lifestyle

Get the cat and get rid of the daughter she needs a therapy like a good boot up the backside or send her to a convent school that would wake her up or she's going to end up in jail

    Story 3
Your daughter is angry stop allowing her to have luxury goods, she needs to go to therapy and your ex needs to tell her enough and you should send her to boarding school if she continues,I think you need to put your foot down hard , stealing is going to land her in juvenile court she stealing, and bullying
You are doing all the parenting now your ex needs to stand up and be counted

  • @mrsw2923
    @mrsw2923 ปีที่แล้ว +1

YOU have shown your daughter that instead of justified punishment you will send her to a therapist instead. Lazy parenting. Have you removed her electronics? Have you removed her bedroom door? Have you taken her phone? You haven’t parented your daughter. No wonder she is a holy nightmare. Therapists ARE NOT parents. Quit shirking your responsibilities. Tough love prepares kids for the real world. NOT THERAPY!!!!!
