seriously love these S5 reviews...its been extremely difficult but i may have to choose this over the m440i. Something about this car just shouts sexy and classy while not being too much in your face.
Ew m440i is gross and skinny like a Honda accord.l and the taillights are ass. M340i and M240i only. I would go M340i, then S5 sportback(mainly because of the magma red interior), then M240i, then S3, then m440i. I hope you didn’t get m440i
@@casinadaviejon6944 How so? The BMW doesn't have any clones, and doesn't use VW gas pedals and internals. Plus you'll never mistaken a BMW for a Jetta, as you can with an A4.

I don’t even consider any non black optic package Audi, they might as well not exist, anyone that would buy an Audi without the black optic package is a stooge and not to be trusted.

I did, many times, and I would not get one. The ride is unbearable and it doesn't sound as good as the S5. It's also super outdated for it's price. Same cabin as an A4, plus the sport seats. For 90K, there are many more options to look at. I have a couple of RS5 videos on my channel.

These are 5k off msrp brand new right now, which means you could bend them over a little more for probably about 7500 off if I had to guess. If they’re advertising $5000 off msrp that means there’s more room, they don’t do that kind of discount on premium cars unless they’re desperate to get rid of them. Unfortunately this S5 has been the same for quite some time and they fell victim to raising the prices and adding nothing to the car, so the market has said nope, and they’re slashing prices, might even see advertised 10k+ off msrp by the end of the year.

I'm not a super racer, but feels like a5 does not have sound exhaust at all, but s5 has it along with a lot of power. I just want to feel comfort and power reserve in car. Hi, thank you for watching! Honestly, can't go wrong with either. The A5 45 TFSI feel just as fast in 0-80mph accelerations. The only difference where the S5 will really show it's additional power is on the highway at much higher speeds. The A5 also has less sporty seats, which are better on longer drives, but you can also order those in an S5. I would still pick the S5 personally! Look at the BMW M440i GC too.
This one has suede seats and no sport package. The one before that did, and there is another one that is on 19" rims. To be honest, they all feel very similar, but I just enjoy filming them, and many seem to love watching S5 content. I had a 2021 myself! I think they are great cars and super fun to drive.
All up to you, but I personally didn't see much of a difference! If you aren't taking it to the track or doing any crazy driving, you might as well just save $3000 and not get those packages. If you do plan on doing track days, I'd say look at cars like the BMW M340i, BMW M3, and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrofoglio. They are much more track friendly and have way sportier handling. The only reason why you'd want the sport diff is if you take lots of curvy roads and want that additional improvement in handling. I didn't have those options in my S5, and never had any complaints.

The reason why you did not feel comfortable during that exit At 52mph, is because your car didn’t have the sport differential. I would have to disagree with you and say that if you had the sport package with the sport differential during the accelerating turn is exactly where you’re going to see the difference with handling & control. Either way, great videos…
Makes no difference. I've driven many, if not tens of S5's with and without the sport package, and they all feel the same in every aspect, besides the ride stiffness. The ones with the Sport Package ride worse. As far as 52mph, that's a good speed. The record in that turn is 54 mph so far in the i5 M60. The Giulia did 53mph. I'm sure I could have done more in each car, but that was the "comfortable" limit for each car.
@@Paramedicated I didn't feel any. Maybe on a track I would feel some kind of difference, but not in normal or active cornering from what I've experienced. If I drive both, and you don't tell me which one has it or not, it would be hard for me to tell.

Just bought one, probably overpaid a lot! But i love it, wifey loves it. Disagree with some of what you said, but that is different strokes for different folks. I also have an M4. The S5 is a real car, the M4 is a toy, my toy!! Still, the S5 is great for my wife, with winter tires i bet it will do fine in colder weather. I KNEW NOTHING about this car and bought it for my wife based on color only! LOL. Same interior as your tester, but the exterior color is distinctive and lovely to my mine and my wife's eyes (don''t care to say which color it is) I got all the wrong packages based on your comments :( Oh well, at least I tricked my wife into buying a sporty car!!!

Wish they didnt just plop a tablet on the middle of the dashboard for a screen. The gauge cluster looks great，then you look at the outdated screen placement
It's strange that even in the A3/Q3 the screen is integrated in the dash and looks better. You would think they would swap these designs between A3/A5s.
Idk why these don’t get an updated interior like the S3… I love the car but I can’t bring myself to buy one because I know how long overdue it is for a facelift.. and sure enough when I buy one they will release the facelift a few months later and I’ll be jaded toward Audi forever and resent my purchase unjustifiably. Audi has had that digital dash and that infotainment since what, 2016/2017? It feels dated, if they never had those before I wouldn’t think that much about it, but I know they’ve had them for almost a decade now and there’s no change. It’s why this car is getting killed on the new car market right now, 5k off msrp regardless of spec.
Don't change something that is already perfect! I'm glad they have kept the S5 the way it is till now. Perfect design. I love the physical buttons and how it feels and looks. The virtual cockpit is amazing in the S5. You can get much bigger discounts than that.
So I have a few questions for you considering your stance. Your answer leaves me to believe that you like the interior of the 8V A3/S3/RS3 more than the 8Y. That’s insane to me, this current S5 generation is a generation behind. Look at the S3, the S6, the S7, they all updated, the 4 and 5 got left behind for whatever reason. I’m not saying the digital cockpit isn’t amazing, it is, I’ve loved it since 2016 and it hasn’t changed since then. My larger gripe is the S4/S5 not getting refreshed like the rest of the lineup. You can’t tell me the 2024 S3/S6/S7’s don’t all look universally better than their previous generations. The A3/S3 has been updated for 3 years more, why is the flagship Audi models not getting the same update as the rest of the lineup? Again I’m not saying it’s a shitty interior, I actually like it but it’s severely outdated especially considering the updates throughout the entire lineup.
Yes you do! What if your phone goes bad and you're stuck in a bad area? The virtual cockpit looks much nicer with the maps too. I've personally had that happen, and I really missed having maps in the S5 I had.

The Audi 3.0 v6 turbo is really powerful and torquey. I rode in a Q7 and my friend’s dad punched it and it felt really quick.

Have you driven the RS5 as well? I’m debating if it’s worth the price difference.

You really don't need navigation package if you have a maps app on your phone

I’ll never understand (outside of the look) why someone would choose an S5 over a sleeper S4. Same engine. Personal choice.

It looks better, it rides lower, the interior is sportier, the seats are better, hatchback rather than trunk.
