@@-.__.__.-Rad Absolutely loved the A6. I'm somewhat with you about giving up sport for comfort but if you opt for the A6 with a V6 there's plenty of power and the handling isn't all that bad. We're a two car family and my wife is done with the 330i and she is eyeing a plain Q5. Her previous car was a 19 A4. I could write a book on why we don't like the 330i compared to the 19 A4. I was fooled by the media 2 1/2 years ago about everyone having to go to EV's so I traded my SQ5 for a Tesla Model Y. Love the tesla because the acceleration is so addicting. Lots of bad press about EV's lately and I somewhat disagree with about 95% of it. Have had no trouble with it and have taken it on several trips in excess of 1000 miles each. Anyone thinking of an EV my advise right now would be only buy a Tesla, not because the car is so good but because their charging network is FAR SUPERIOR to any other charging network. If you're just going to use an EV locally, buy any EV. But if you want to go more than 100 miles from home it's a Tesla that wins. Anyway, getting rid of it and going back to Audi....

Then you get the bigger rims with a very thin side wall, which makes the ride worse, and any larger pothole will cause you to have to replace the rim/tire.
Nice drive!! As the owner of a fully loaded 2023 S5 Sportback Prestige, Sport, Black Optic, etc. I can vouch for the sheer joy of getting behind the wheel of this awesome car. One thing to note and I am surprised you did not know this as you said you own a 2021 S5, while there are no physical buttons for the garage door opener, this functionality is built into the MMI system. Once fully setup including letting the car know where your home is, as you approach your house, the garage door openers magically appear in the MMI screen. Tap the one you want to open and the signal is sent. It works flawlessly. My only complaint with the way it works is when you pull out of the garage, the openers/closers do not appear in the screen and you have to swipe down from the top to bring them up onto the screen. Then tap the garage door you want to close and off you go.
@@Zombieknightgames Mine has the sport exhaust resonator and the S sport package so sound is good and handling is phenomenal. In sport mode, downshifts produce really nice pops and burbles and it also tightens everything up in the suspension and steering. When in the mood to push the car a little, the ride can be totally exhilarating.

However if you would listen to BMW harman kardon or better Bowers & Wilkins, you would come to same conclusion. Bang & Olufsen is average at best. It is not in same league as HK, even less than BW. Thus if Prestige S5 would costs around 63K, than that would justify, but it costs 75K. This is exactly same costs of BMW 540 which blows S5 out of the water in all departments, not only sound. S5 are good looking cars, do not get me wrong, but it is much overpriced for what it offers. This is exactly why you see 100 BMW 440(direct rival) and 1 S5 on the roads.

Their HUD is alright, BMW's is far better. I wouldn't even bother with it. Possibly soon, but this bodystyle so far has been the best. The only thing that I really like about the Prestige beside the HUD is the ambient lighting and light animation.

I've drive one, but I'll definitely film an M850i if I come across one. It drives very similar to the M550i I reviewed, just a little more tight inside, and more sporty on the handling. Performance is the same.
These cars don't compete and aren't in the same class. This car would be compared with the BMW M440i GC. Now as far as the two, the 540i is of course the larger, more plush, and technological option that has a B58. Which one you get is up to your preference. The S5 is more sporty, and tight but won't give you the same levels of comfort or technology as the 540i. Can't go wrong with either!
Both are great. I would say if you have the money go with the S5 but if you wanna save money and still have fun go with the stinger I promise both are great!!
I owned both actually! The Stinger is more aggressive and sporty, but the Audi rides better and has more refinement and a nicer sound. You can't get a new Stinger anymore, so definitely the S5. Don't forget about the M440i :)
I can only tell you what I did, they both are great but ultimately after many test drives and research I chose Stinger for a few reasons. No remote start on Audi, I like my cabin toasty or chill when I get there. In comfort mode I feel Stinger is more aggressive, in sport, even though Audi has better transmission, when you are stomping it they're pretty much same. Audi will cut off two highest gears in sport mode so you will be always on boil but your highway driving will take mpg hit. That delayed start off the line will eventually get on your nerves, no matter how much you will try to convince yourself that it is a non issue. After couple years things will start to go wrong with Germans and you will be on your own, I hope to convince Kia to use that long warranty. Entertainment system has free updates from Kia that you can flash yourself, not so much from Audi. Interior materials are a little bit worse in Stinger but I chose it for driving experience so I forgive those little details. Plus, you don't see that many on the road, so you will always be more unique, especially since they stopped making them. Gas mileage and range is complete trash on Stinger, they could've added 1-2 gallons to tank, but what can you do. M440 was a no go for me as they skipped on spare tire. Being stuck on the side of the road with cracked rim before, this is a no starter for me. After owning 3 series I just despise the new BMW digital gauges, they are counterintuitive and do not provide quick information. I may end up in next gen S5 down the road when I get Stinger out of my system, but for now I'm very happy with my decision.

The Kia has premature rotor wear, sunroof rattle, paint chipping, speaker issues, and other electronic issues and it's still a Kia. The service department is very mediocre, and you're servicing your car besides other Kia's of a much lower price. You also don't get the same high quality loaners or treatment. The S5 is overall a great performer. As far as the delay, you only feel it if you floor it, and that's on any Audi. 99% of the time you don't drive like that.
Thank you! It does have pretty good top end power too, but the stock tune does start to loose some steam past 6000 rpm. It's best power is between 3000-6000 rpm. Once you tune it, it will actually short shift to get the best times, but the top end will be better😃

Just got one. The sound system is amazing in the premium plus.
I was specifically talking about the system in the Premium Plus and Prestige. Does not have a deep sound at all. Not a fan.

I see so many people who have an S5 in my streets, which is crazy, and lot of those S5s are the sportback model.
Currently driving a 21 A4, looking to upgrade to an s4 and an s5. Is there a substantial difference other than looks between the two?
The S4 is a little lighter and has more sporty handling. I do prefer the look of the S5 though.
