You can see why mika is a superb product ambassador, he engages with a ' stranger" quickly finds something in comman and gets on your wave length.

Thanks Sam for taking us on the road with you and sharing your experience . Tech means you can film and describe it to us, at high quality from your laptop. Not easy to be a great communicator and film maker and editor and producer….. all in one. Thats a skill. That reflects to your views on the 750s, its more interesting to see it on a rainy motorway, filling the boot , squirting along a B road and showing its breadth of talent , far harder act than being a compromised track special.

This was so cool!! meeting Mika and having him say he's gonna look for you after and have a chat! Wow! I haven't been to an F1 Grand Prix in so long. When you mentioned how F1 restricts what video can be taken and shown, it kind of dampened my hopes of one day making a kids video about F1. I get so many kids asking for car content. Hopefully F1, or one of the teams will let me. Keep up the great work! 👍

That famous pass he made against Schumacher sent chills down my spin. I thought that was one of the greatest passes in F1 racing history and you get to talk to the man that did it. Incredible!!!

Awesome episode Sam- Honestly it was just sorta ho hum on the surface, but to a fan and a car nut I was vicariously living through you and I couldn’t have had a better time. Getting to daily a 750s, chatting on a hot lap at silverstone with a F1 legend. You are humble and excited. It is what separates you from the pack. Makes me feel like I can be in your shoes. Most other car you tubers, are so detached from reality they fail to recognize what they have and lack the honest enthusiasm one loses when they take things for granted. Cheers ! Thanks for the smiles. Keep up the good work, balance family and work. Sell that GT3 and get a McLaren already 😎

I just received my new 750s few days ago.... great car.... full mso specs.., love it....
My advice if u wanna buy McLarens, pls ensure its the top range models only....eg like the 765, 750, senna...the rest models might have quality control issues

My first job out of university was at McLaren in late 1992. Mika Hakkinen was the test driver back then. I only stayed a year, but never managed to meet him.

ive not long got home from being at silverstone for the gp and it was so good! i was watching the hotlaps at quli! who ever the the driver is of that gorgeous green dbx was, hes a nutter!!!

Please do whatever it takes to bring Mika on the podcast! His McLaren era is on par with the Senna times and he still knows the real McLaren led by Ron Dennis. Otherwise, I m glad McLaren get more positive attention lately both on the race track as when it comes to their cars... which are out of my league (I m super happy with my Cayman though) and strangely, for me, it s the brand where I d be more forgiving when it comes to the final finish as they propose something unique, more like the Lotus of the supercars, I just hope they got the seemingly neglected customer care more under control now coz what matters is how you deal with issues esp at this price point.

Sam, I don't know if you have one yet, but get a seat belt clip for Twiggy. It just clips into the seat-belt, then clips into her harness. Will make sure she doesn't go flying if you have a crash.

Met Mikka in 1999 at the F1 party at the Dorchester hotel. I was working security and he rolled up in a green McLaren F1. Nice guy.
