My brother died on June 29, six days after his 33rd birthday. A couple of days after he was buried, I watched this movie to distract myself from grieving. This movie helped me a lot. It showed me that I need to embrace my sadness to find joy.
I may be the only one, but I think Inside Out could be a great show. Like, every episode is about a different person and we get to see what the control room for each and every person is like.
D0nutLord It reminded me a lot of a show I watched as a kid called:"Ozzy & Drix" which took place inside someone's body and explained the body's functions.
Bing Bong letting go after the realization he was weighing down joy from feeling joyful in her aging process was so symbolic. and the scene was so perfect in its representation . that scene alone made this a masterpiece among other scenes
UnkeptMoss328 Well they kinda did lose their touch after Cars 2, Brave etc, but I'm happy if they have regained it with this movie, if it is now so good that everyone says it is :D
UnkeptMoss328 tbh guys, after Cars 2, 2 more movies came out before Inside Out. meaning they made 3 ok-bad movies. and they would all be considered good if made by DreamWorks, so. and 3 films. out of tons of classics.
Apparently oscars aren't allowed to put animated films up for best picture. They find that they are too childish. It's funny because inside out is better written than Titanic and it is more mature in it's execution. Also unlike my favorite trilogy lord of the rings, this movie is an original concept. So the academy will throw oscars left and right towards terrible love stories and adaptations of great works of literature but a well written movie made specifically for the medium of cinema is not worthy of the academy award for best picture. I never understand why people cared so much about such an asinine award that Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock never won.
+Dingo D. Manhunter Animated pictures can be nominated; Beauty and the Beast was the first and Up was nominated a few years ago. They just don't seem too as you said they look at them as childish.

I'm 19 and watched this tonight and was blown away by how incredible this movie was. I cried a good three times, once from laughter(this movie is hilarious.), once when some serious stuff was happening, and then somewhere in the middle I started bawling my eyes out. This is the best film I've seen all year, and was truly a breath of fresh air. I've give it a 10/10 perfect rating and tell ANYONE to go see it immediately. I'm still in shock from how incredible it was

People were jumping out of their seats, more so than with rated R comedies because this movie was so smart with its comedy. I've always thought the most funny people are the ones who can do it without pure adult humor. This applies to this movie more so than any other. I couldn't think of any flaws while walking out and all I was thinking throughout was how genius this movie was (like Jeremy described it). It had everything a good movie should have from emotion, story telling, acting, execution, and comedy but exceeded all of it. Truly a fantastic movie.
Inside Out makes you contemplate your entire state of being. What really goes on in our minds? What is behind the entire process of expressing emotion? Inside Out explains that with precision. It is such a fun colorful movie. The casting was on-point e.g. Lewis Black as Anger, Bill Hader as Fear, Amy Poehler as Joy, etc. This has got to be one of Disney/Pixar's greatest masterpieces of all time. 11/10 Genius
This movie is a masterpiece. Back in 2015, I never thought a movie like this would make me feel something, let alone an animated movie. I also really love how it’s not about WHERE home is, but what you make of it to feel like home
Asesino217 People said that for The Lego Movie... Though I'm sure the Oscars will pick this anyway just because it's Pixar and not because of how good it is. Andres Iniesta well, the thing that makes Jeremy so awesome is that he's not just some usual snobby critic. He's just a regular guy who just shares his thoughts on a movie. He basically represents the majority of moviegoers, and that's why you see a lot of people agree with his reviews.
Andres Iniesta I take his awesometaculars like down a couple levels. I mean, he gets excited about everything, even hot chicks in bad movies. However, I watched Whiplash because of him and that is the best movie that was nominated.

"I think in order to not like this movie, you have to have no emotions". I kind of agree there. And YMS's emotionless robotic tone really supports that case.
Please watch wayward pines the TV show! It is so good, so intriguing and has you on the edge of your seat please trust me. Everyone I know who watches it from young to old love it!
+The Fiddler Awkward thing about that idea would be, when does Lust show up, at legal age? Puperty hits so early nowadays.. would be a problem in prude America to have Lust developing in the mind of a 13yo :D
I just saw it today... and I could hear people around me sniffling during *those* moments. Inside Out is now my favorite Pixar movie next to Finding Nemo, TS3 and Up.
I just saw this movie, and in a word, it was just downright awesome. As a 16-year-old teen, I can relate to Riley's life entirely with how I moved from elementary school to high school, saying goodbye to the friends I loved while struggling to accept new ones and new things at the same time. Pixar, this film seriously taught me so much about my life and we definitely need a sequel to this film in at least 2-4 years. And Pixar, don't miss the golden opportunity, because this film is genius and people love the concept! Make it happen!
i can easily see a trilogy with this movie. one going through puberty and the other one for college/ adulthood. Pixar has created a beautiful masterpiece! 10/10!
U know, this movie is amazing, setting inside someones mind is a glorious idea, i love the design of areas we see in it, also the way everything function, u get the memory which creates island which shapes personality, and that's why i was wondering, if regular person like Riley have similar looking mind as well see in the movie then... How would it look if person have mental illness...
I like movies that can combine hilarious moments with a lot of emotion. On some moments the entire theatre was laughing, on some moments the theater was almost crying.
The thing about this movie, is that it's the first time in years when Pixar had more autonomy than usual in making a project. In past years it was all connected to Disney, but they saw that it didn't work so well when Disney was guiding Pixar, so they did what any smart corporation would do, and left Pixar be Pixar. Inside out is the first movie in a long time that's actually what they wanted to say. At least as much as it is possible. So for me, it's a revolutionary movie, and i dunno how many can appreciated that at this time, but i just hope this is a historical moment when capable people are just left to do their capable things, and prove it's a financial success also. A lot depends on this movie, for the future of animation in general. Sorry for the ...post...too much. Enjoy the movie guys.
Shaka12 Also also,....man, SW will be fucking insane. It's made by the people George Lucas hired cause they loved star wars. So now that he's left. The movies will be made by the people at Lucas Arts that were hired cause they love fucking start wars. So.........damn, i'm on for that too. This is a good fucking year, isn't it.
Omen the people that work there, are less fans and more professionals that study the way you can make a SW movie. It's in the end a formula. Look at some good reviewers, like Plinket or Jeremy, who understand what makes a movie great or what gives a movie it's distinct feeling. They would actually have better input than Lucas. George, being the creator, feels that every fart he comes up with, it's genius. When it's actually not the case. When he did SW, he was a different kind of man, needing to prove something. I don't think he's capable to amaze us anymore. So that's why i feel the whole thing is in good hands. That's not to say that JJ Abrams or a producer can't still fuck shit up. :)))) after reading some statistics and using some focus groups that need more Jar Jar. Who knows. But i'm hopeful. :)
It's amazing how pixar can make a character that I didn't really and then have me bursting in tears in his last scene. "Take her to the moon for me" 😭😭😭
Just watched this movie last Friday with my youngest daughter and once again pixar has made another classic. The whole concept of how all your emotions govern your mind along with the control room. Not to mention how the core memories shape you. I was impressed and even cried a little at parts. In the end this movie I recommend to all my buddies. Because this movie is AWESOMETACULAR!! keep up the good work I enjoy your reviews.
Complexity of emotions I suppose. And in the film they show how the emotions can combine to make new emotions. I think each of the core emotions they show are the bases for all emotions that people can experience. I liked how the examined it in the credits with the different people.
Darth Vanquish Joy's the literal embodiment of positivity. All positivity metaphorically comes from her. I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I can tell, I think one of the main points of the movie is that positivity/happiness isn't the most important emotion; it's just as important as all of the other emotions, and it's okay and even healthy to feel happiness just as often as we feel other types of emotions, even negative ones like Sadness, Fear, etc.
Darth Vanquish ... no? Because they aren't. Fear isn't negative. Fear is a survival trait. Sadness is "negative," but that doesn't mean "bad." It's realistic. Anger is often justified, so it's not really "negative." Disgust, sure, but it is often necessary as well. Wouldn't want people eating dog shit just because it was there, would we? Besides, what emotions ARE there? It's a pretty realistic list, with those being the 5 basics and other, more nuanced feelings being combinations of them.
That was what i was thinking like how do physcos appear? What controls the emotion's actions? Where do the emotions come from, do parents pass them down? Etc
This is the first new release Pixar movie I've experienced as an adult, and I am so happy it was this film. It's so relatable and moving! I loved seeing into the parent's minds as well as Riley's, and considering you interact with the emotions more than the actual character of Riley, you really feel like you know her which is a really cool sensation. Pixar has not lost it's magic!!
Yeah, I agree with Jeremy: _Inside Out_ does make you wonder how _your_ mind looks like and which Emotion is the more "dominant" one. Love how not only do they show what's going on in Riley's head, but they do so with the Mom and Dad, too..and everyone's both similar _and_ different, at the same time. Brilliant.
TheAnimatorOfficial Normally I would agree, if only the Academy had any real respect for animated films... They don't judge movies on how good they are, just who made them and/or how they were made, especially animation. I mean, remember The Lego Movie, the "Best Animated Film" snub heard around the world?
I loved Inside Out! I took my dad to see it for Father's Day and we both loved it (I'm 30 and he is 62) I think we loved it more than the 5 year old sitting next to me, although he was pretty pumped too. It's one of those films that you think will be fluffy, but you walk out of it with your brain jam-packed of deep thoughts.
This is now my all-time favourite movie. Everything I love about movies is in this film and the approach to emotions speaks to me so much, as someone with diagnosed Asperger's
At the end there was new features to Rileys console also she had new islands like fashion island. Basically shes about to go through puberty. They need to make ONEE moree I wanna see what other struggles she'd have growing up as a teenager.
DomLovri I like Cars a lot. I like Cars 2 from a kid's perspective, it's harmless and well-animated despite being cliche for Pixar. I'm curious to see if john Lasseter will do something more clever with a third film.
This movie hit me right in the feels! Perfect family movie. Without a doubt one of Pixar's best. Loved it. 21 year-old dude here and not guna lie, I feel like I enjoyed it better than my 5 year-old nephew did.
Saw this movie yesterday along with Jurassic World and Dope. This was the cutest movie I have seen in a long time! And the fact that everyone in the theater were laughing- especially the parents- made it more enjoyable. This was perfectly done and I would see it again and again!
So I just watched this movie... Yes I am a bit late to the party with this one.... But man, I am almost 30 years old and I was teary eyed throughout long portions of this movie. This is going on the list of a movie everyone should watch at least one time in their life.

Just came out in the UK and you're right. It is fantastic and it does provide a great way of looking at how our emotions interact and play out. I feel like it could be a great tool for those who have a hard time understand their own emotions or the emotions of others and that sort of thing too. Or provide metaphors for those with anxiety or depression to explain the situation to others. But also it's a fun movie done very well.
I'm watching it with my niece tonight. Should be fun, but I'm trying to figure out why every reviewer is acting like this is a unique idea. This concept has been around for years. It may not have been executed as well but it's still not very unique.
I actually have one small nitpick with the movie. It's with the memories. When the memory happens and comes into Headquarters, it's in the ball as the way we saw it happened, outside of Riley's POV. here's the thing, because we are actually going on the journey through the emotions wouldn't the memory come into Headquarters in Riley's POV?
Toy Story: Awesometacular A Bugs life: buy it on blu ray Toy Story 2: Buy it on blu ray Monsters Inc: Awesometacular Finding Nemo: Awesometacular The Incredibles: Awesometacular Cars: Good time no alcohol required Ratatouille: Awesometacular WALL E : Awesometacular UP: Awesometacular Toy Story 3: Oscar Worthy Cars 2 : dogshit Brave: good time if you're drunk Monsters University: Buy it on Blu ray Inside Out: Awesometacular The Good Dinosaur: Good time no alcohol required
That awkward moment when you realize Pixar is basically The Walking Dead/Game of Thrones of kids movies. Every time I watch one I'm like "well, now who the fuck is gonna die?" Lol
I've seen a lot of movies over the past month or so, but nothing stands up to this. This is the first smart movie I've seen this year. Every thing fits and has a reason for being there, which is amazing for a completely created world where you can get away with things not making sense. Clearly a lot of thought went into making this. You will laugh, you will cry, you will ride the emotional roller coaster and enjoy every minute of it. The opening short film was also a good warm up for your heart strings.
My favourite was the girl at school and the teacher. Although the "girl, girl" warning thing at the end was absolutely amazing. I was laughing so hard at it XD
I finally watched this movie and I totally agree with everything Jeremy said. Jeremy's right with his comparison with Monsters Inc. because that was the last animated film which made me emotional. I actually laughed (It wasn't forced) and almost cried while watching the film. This movie is an emotional rollercoaster, I felt each emotion this movie showcases (Disgust and Fear? Not that much). This movie is a masterpiece, Inside Out should win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. It is Awesometacular, so far the best movie of the year for me. I hope there's an Inside Out 2.
Very enjoyable movie, I actually really loved the short they played at the beginning with the Volcanos. That was a great start to a wonderful movie. I needed to see something to take my mind off of a shitty week and this was just what I needed. Awesometacular indeed.
Am I the only one who liked Monsters University? Sure, it wasn't great or as original as Pixar's classics are, but it was still really good and entertaining, way better than Cars 2...
This is not just one the greatest movies ever existed, it's the greatest animated movie ever existed. It was the type of movie that make you cry and laugh all the time, no seriously alot of people cried in the cinema. It's such a unique and deep experience that makes you feel so good that these type of movies exist. Yes, am gonna be completely honest and say this movie is better then Toy Story 3, am going that far. While Toy Story 3 had one of the most perfect three's, Inside Out was pure perfection of perfection.
chevy_2001 They certainly weren't standouts in Disney-Pixar's filmography, though. Neither was Wreck-It Ralph. They weren't as horrible as Cars 2, but they weren't bad.
Wreck It Ralph and Cars 2 were great! And BTW Wreck It Ralph is getting a sequel and there's gonna be a Cars 3! I dont care what anybody says! Cars and Cars 2 will always be my favorite pixar movies and they are the best.
TheGamingUniverse i am 13 and british kids in my class hate pixar and the teachers also hate pixar. they put shit like home alone 3, stuart little, transformers 2 for us but dont put pixar movies because they are animated. i have a friend who says grown ups is better than toy story(because it is animated so it is forkids) which makes me rage when i hear that.
I actually met Lewis Black backstage after a stand-up show he did. At the time, I didn't know that Inside Out was a thing, let alone that Lewis Black was in it. But I probably would've asked him about that if I did
I just watched this movie, and I am disappointed I didn't see this earlier! I wanted to see it in theaters but was too busy to find time to go. It is definitely a movie that made me cry and reflect. I also love that it's kind of underrated, as well. By that, I mean not many people really saw it. I told my cousin we have to watch this movie. Didn't expect it to be so deep and relatable, but it was great to experience it with my cousin who has never heard of its plot.
My brother died on June 29, six days after his 33rd birthday. A couple of days after he was buried, I watched this movie to distract myself from grieving. This movie helped me a lot. It showed me that I need to embrace my sadness to find joy.
Sorry about your brother.
Oh man 😥
I hope you're doing better, 5 years later! I'm so sorry for your loss.
The main character is 11? Can't wait to see a puberty monster beat the ever loving heck out of the emotions.
MegaFriendlyCreeper dem damn mood swings!
You sir just made the plot for inside out 2!
Salomon Hogers It honestly was the first thing I thought of when I heard this movie's plot. :D
MegaFriendlyCreeper Look who just joined the group, Lust!

I may be the only one, but I think Inside Out could be a great show. Like, every episode is about a different person and we get to see what the control room for each and every person is like.
D0nutLord OMG yes! So much Yes!
D0nutLord it exists the series was called "hermans head"
eiji niizuma LOL I remember that, way back 1992 I think... But yeah, I could definitely see Inside Out going into Syndication...
D0nutLord It reminded me a lot of a show I watched as a kid called:"Ozzy & Drix" which took place inside someone's body and explained the body's functions.
D0nutLord nooooo
This movie made me cry 3 times.....3 FUCKING TIMES. A Kids movies made me Cry 3 Fucking times, this movie is a goddamn masterpiece
+Maaz Sharief (Maazypaaz) Me too, I was bawling through this movie.
The ending scenes really made me cry. I don't remember the last time an animation movie made me cry.
+Maaz Sharief (Maazypaaz) thats pixar for you, always tugging at the heart strings ! lol
I second that 😭😭😭😭
Bing Bong letting go after the realization he was weighing down joy from feeling joyful in her aging process was so symbolic. and the scene was so perfect in its representation . that scene alone made this a masterpiece among other scenes
Both my kids cried in this movie. It was good to see them connect with the story and show emotions of that level as kids.
i cried and im a 28 yr old male
I cried a bit, too. Watched this tonight with my kids. It was a good experience.
You've got to hand it to Pixar, 20 years after Toy Story they haven't yet lost their touch.
UnkeptMoss328 was kind of scary for long time, especially they started to do part twos.
UnkeptMoss328 [cough] Cars! [cough] Cars 2! [cough] Brave [cough]
UnkeptMoss328 Well they kinda did lose their touch after Cars 2, Brave etc, but I'm happy if they have regained it with this movie, if it is now so good that everyone says it is :D
UnkeptMoss328 That would imply that all their movies have been good... Which isn't the case.

After watching "Inside Out," I am fully convinced that humans would be like droids without joy and sadness.
Or angry and fearful psychopaths
Bing Bong's last words
"Take her to the moon for me okay"
I cried the hardest there!
That’s what set me off. A blubbering wreck from then until way past the credits. God damn this film.

Well, people though the same about Toy Story 2, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I've watched it 3 or 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. Instant classic for me. A top 5, easily.
I saw a thumbnail for the family group hug scene, I did not even need to watch the video for me to start tearing up
I'm a huge pixar fan
, but I honestly don't see it. I thought there was nothing special about the movie.

Whoa...didn't expect that rating.
kratoscallofduty dude imdb has give it a 9.1, critics a 94/100, Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 100%, metacritics 91%
privateservers2damax yh but you should know ratings drop overtime
Eg. The hobbit went from 92 on opening weekend to 65 weeks later
Jeremy's not really about the rating
I actually skipped to the end, expecting a bad rating, saw awesometacular and went back to the beginning thinking I gotta now whats in this movie.
Cameron Whittington why would expect something bad? Pixar only had one terrible movie which was cars 2.
So Pixar is back on form?
Brave, cars 2 mostly cars 2
cars 2, monsters U
I liked Monsters U..
Monsters University was a really good movie. Just wasn't as original as their previous masterpieces, with the exception of Cars 2 and Brave.
Brad Wright I don't know, for me it feels like a lot of College cliches with monsters

I hadn’t watched this movie in a long time and I thought they moved back to Minnesota at the end. I’m glad they didn’t because it works better
I cried like a baby in this movie, and I'm a 22 year old dude
Best animated picture award....CALLING IT!
Asesino217 The Academy loves Pixar. They won 7 Best Animated Feature Oscars
Asesino217 People said that for The Lego Movie... Though I'm sure the Oscars will pick this anyway just because it's Pixar and not because of how good it is. I think Inside Out is a masterpiece, but let's face it: the Academy doesn't even have any respect for a movie's content so much as the names that made it, especially when it comes to animated films. It's just plain insulting to all the nominees (winners included), and that's not even including the snubs (again, Lego Movie).
+Ace Amateur Honestly, what other competition does it even have? The closest thing to that would probably be The Shaun the Sheep Movie.
When JeremyJahns rates it Awesometacular, you know it's amazing.
TheAnimatorOfficial not really, he gave pacific rim and thor awesometacular.....
Andres Iniesta well, the thing that makes Jeremy so awesome is that he's not just some usual snobby critic. He's just a regular guy who just shares his thoughts on a movie. He basically represents the majority of moviegoers, and that's why you see a lot of people agree with his reviews.

TheAnimatorOfficial Except for Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was very disappointed with that movie, although it was still fun to watch.
Disney Pixar are back!! Finally, after 5 years!
He rated HTTYD2 Awesometacular as well.
Dominique Deguire 3 movies....
TheAnimatorOfficial thats dreamworks
TheAnimatorOfficial Are you dumb?
Captain Carno Sorry, I replied to the wrong comment. Tim Tran I know HTTYD isn't Pixar.

Verdict: Pixar is Awesometacular.
Amber Shoffren damn right
"I think in order to not like this movie, you have to have no emotions".
I kind of agree there. And YMS's emotionless robotic tone really supports that case.
Please watch wayward pines the TV show! It is so good, so intriguing and has you on the edge of your seat please trust me. Everyone I know who watches it from young to old love it!
I wear the tears I shed during this movie with a badge of honor!!
Amazing film and yes, one of Pixar's best.
why doesn't anyone talk about the score of this movie, it's absolutely fantastic. the best score ever composed by a human being
My favorite part was when joy and sadness worked together and Riley was sad and happy at the same time!❤
Remember
the control room needs one more emotion for adults. Lust.
+The Fiddler Awkward thing about that idea would be, when does Lust show up, at legal age? Puperty hits so early nowadays.. would be a problem in prude America to have Lust developing in the mind of a 13yo :D
+The Fiddler That comes in when they press the puberty button. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+ruben g that's probably left out for part 2
+ruben g True.
The Fiddler Lust? Are you bonkers? Or just high?
Reckon you'd do a E3 review?
Jacob Jeffries Fuck no. Video-games are for 40-year old virgin nerds that live in their mom's basement. .
MrKockNoker so... Does that mean Jeremy is a 40 year old virgin?
He sure does a good job at hiding it.
nekusakuraba01
I wouldn't be surprised if he was. I bet he doesn't talk to girls in real life. What a pathetic piece of shit.
MrKockNoker You seem butthurt for some reason. Need some ice?
MrKockNoker Every ugly thing in this world still looks a 10000000000x better than you.
I just saw it today... and I could hear people around me sniffling during *those* moments. Inside Out is now my favorite Pixar movie next to Finding Nemo, TS3 and Up.
I’m 53 and I cried hard as I remembered stuff from my own childhood
"The only way you can't relate to this film is of you have no emotions"
That explains why YMS thought the movie was meh.
Did anyone else see the lava short film when they saw this?... I thought it was really good.
I liked it too. When they can make two singing volcanos make me cry....they done good. Lol
I'm a cold emotionless guy relatively ... and I cried 2 times during inside out.
This is not a completely new idea, there was something very similar like this before. By Disney I think.
I remember one similar but it was the immune system I think
Critic Corner yep that's it
Concon hey, i see you on harcover reviews videos
Concon Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle...I think
Also the TV show Hermans head.
You know your comment "you have to have no emotion to hate this movie"
That actually makes a lot of sense when you look at some negative reviews.
This is the kind of movie that makes you wonder how come tears just run out of your face uncontrollably after watching.
It's amazing how pixar can make a character that I didn't really and then have me bursting in tears in his last scene. "Take her to the moon for me" 😭😭😭
It will release in my place on 20th August
That sucks.
capz At least you have that.It is released today in my country and I'm dying inside to see this, but I'm to fucking poor for that.Life sucks, you know.
capz same....
In Germany it will be released at 01.10.2014. This sucks
2014? can I get it now then? xD
Dammit I really want to see this now
Batman I wanted to see this I first saw the commercial. Oh, and hi Batman.
John Torres You alright there, champ?
riomma u.f.c -___________-
You should. It's really good.
Batman don't listen to them BATMAN you do have emotions especially when your mom and dad died I can be your sidekick :)
Could you do a spoiler video for Inside Out as well? We'd love to hear about your thoughts in more detail!
I literally cry ten times after watching this movie.
+Thinh Vo Something wrong with you.
+Crunch Buttsteak It was emotional man, Pixar know how to hit me from the feel.
+Thinh Vo haha fair enough man
Well, your a bitch.
I remember this movie making me cry when I saw it in theaters.
I went and saw this movie with my family a couple of days ago, and all I have to say is: Damn. This was amazing.
Does it bug anyone else that of the so called 5 emotions, only 1 is a positive emotion and the other 4 are all negative?
Darth Vanquish
It's a pretty realistic list, with those being the 5 basics and other, more nuanced feelings being combinations of them.
morning morality someone gets it
McBehrer I agree, all emotions have both bad and good sides so I think Inside Out will show both sides of that.
They should make a horror movie inside a psychos head
They've actually done that, but it sucked.
johnthephilsfan they should make a porn movie inside a porn-stars head.
Coolman Hahn Yeah, I know what u talking about, The Cell, LOL! That shit was stupid.
MrKockNoker Also Identity
Brilliant.
Next time my parents are going to I am too old for "catroons". I'll just show them this review
If this thing wins Best Picture, then that argument would be invalid. Forever.
Yep :)
TheAnimatorOfficial But they can't, can they? They're restricted to best animated movie, not best picture.
+TronPowerNode it was done with Beauty and the Beast, Up, and Toy Story 3. They didn't win, but they were still nominated.
TheAnimatorOfficial Normally I would agree, if only the Academy had any real respect for animated films... They don't judge movies on how good they are, just who made them and/or how they were made, especially animation. I mean, remember The Lego Movie, the "Best Animated Film" snub heard around the world?
And yet again Pixar hits it out of the park with another awesome movie under there belt
***** ikr
I loved this movie. Without doubt, Pixar's best film since Toy Story 3.
I was wondering, why is only one of five emotions...positive..?
MrSerrrg88 Because Joy is the embodiment of positivity. All happiness and positivity come from that emotion.
MrSerrrg88 illuminati m8, trying to keep up down
MrSerrrg88 Because she's a girl.
***** Lol. Even though the dad had the same emotions as the mother and girl.
MrSerrrg88 Just watch the film...it explains that all are good for you.
This movie would have been cooler if the main character was a serial killer doing serial killer things and watching those emotions
It'd probably be like how Riley was if Joy and Sadness never managed to get back.
Yeah you probably wouldn't have cried like a girl so much if that was the case
+Uncle Cubone you know I seriously like imagined what she would be like if they didn't get back!
This movies was surprisingly deep. I really enjoyed it.
At the end there was new features to Rileys console also she had new islands like fashion island. Basically shes about to go through puberty. They need to make ONEE moree I wanna see what other struggles she'd have growing up as a teenager.
As father to a very expressive and emotional girl, I teared up 6 or 7 times in the movie. From the very first scene! Pixar, Disney, you did it again!
Thank god no more cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cars 3 is in production
DomLovri YASS
i actualy kind of like cars...but cars 2 is complete piece of shit(dog shit)
DomLovri BEST MAVIE IN THE WARLD
DomLovri I like Cars a lot. I like Cars 2 from a kid's perspective, it's harmless and well-animated despite being cliche for Pixar. I'm curious to see if john Lasseter will do something more clever with a third film.
This movie hit me right in the feels! Perfect family movie. Without a doubt one of Pixar's best. Loved it.
21 year-old dude here and not guna lie, I feel like I enjoyed it better than my 5 year-old nephew did.
Truth! My kid was just worried abut Bing-Bong and the Train of Thought! Haha
So it's like Herman's Head?
jdlaw001 fucking herman's head! hahaha
***** If it was a boy instead of a girl, all we would be seeing in his image reel are naked women.
jdlaw001 jeremy hasnt seen movies like that sense he praised it as original.
jdlaw001 for girls. tween girls. Disney wants more girl revenue, which is why they are beating the living shit out of Frozen.
jdlaw001 Conceptually, its not the first movie of its kind EVER, but the way in which they explore the concept is what's astonishing and inventive.
This movie was so mf good and underrated. Imo it was better than Wall-E
So... YMS doesn't have any emotions?
Jack Ager In order to dislike something you have to, disgust for example
Harry, do you have the emojis? Hehehehehe! Leviosa.
UnBR0k3enAngel Its levio-saaawww
Jack Ager haaaahaaaa Leviosaaaaahhhhhhh!!
UnBR0k3enAngel Ron Weasley it's Levosaaaaah!!!

+The Vagabond: Thank you. I was about to comment the same.
Also...that volcano Pixar short was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen, I had to punch a great white shark in the face to get my manliness back
the 2010s is like the golden age of animated films!
I'm watching it with my niece tonight. Should be fun, but I'm trying to figure out why every reviewer is acting like this is a unique idea. This concept has been around for years. It may not have been executed as well but it's still not very unique.
I knew this movie was gonna be good when I saw the trailer, my ass wasn't wrong
I actually have one small nitpick with the movie. It's with the memories. When the memory happens and comes into Headquarters, it's in the ball as the way we saw it happened, outside of Riley's POV. here's the thing, because we are actually going on the journey through the emotions wouldn't the memory come into Headquarters in Riley's POV?
"I wanna keep this review vague and short because I want you to experience it yourself"
This is why I love you Jeremy. :D
I have no idea why this movie got mostly 1 star ratings from critics on IMDB
Go type "why people hate Inside Out" on Google.
Hopefully this won't be like Big Hero 6 where people love it and then it turns out to be kinda mediocre. >_>
Brian Collins hahahahahaha
***** I know, right? Hilarious!
Brian Collins I just think Big Hero 6 swallowed more than it could chew. It was too much for the run time and no one really cared for the villain
Better than Big Hero 6 definitely imo
I think the only reason people liked that film was because they wanted to see anything from Disney that wasn't Frozen, due to the immense backlash.
Toy Story: Awesometacular
A Bugs life: buy it on blu ray
Toy Story 2: Buy it on blu ray
Monsters Inc: Awesometacular
Finding Nemo: Awesometacular
The Incredibles: Awesometacular
Cars: Good time no alcohol required
Ratatouille: Awesometacular
WALL E : Awesometacular
UP: Awesometacular
Toy Story 3: Oscar Worthy
Cars 2 : dogshit
Brave: good time if you're drunk
Monsters University: Buy it on Blu ray
Inside Out: Awesometacular
The Good Dinosaur: Good time no alcohol required
Toy story 3 and 2 should switch ratings
what do you mean oscar-worthy ?
+عبد البديع فلاتة it deserves an Oscar award
Inside out for me was a buy it on blue ray
Guess you sadness is at the controls huh.
Nathan Moore ?
Gotta see it asap! YIFY do it quick! NOW!
Pranav Dhokre :( YIFY take a loooong time to give us the best ones.
JGuilherme It is worth the wait! They don't take that very long man! But great website :)
Pranav Dhokre i download from yify too but i dont why but their quality seems shittier now.
Stay for the credits a bit. All I have to say is "bus driver"
***** The teacher and cat ones though!!
Jeremy looks like Riley's dad.
guaranteed to cry if you watch it
Am I the only one who liked Monsters University? Sure, it wasn't great or as original as Pixar's classics are, but it was still really good and entertaining, way better than Cars 2...
Spartan Gamer Most people actually liked it, but they were just disppointed by how it didn't match the other Pixar movies.
Well it is true. But not a reason to hate it. It still had part plod Pixar's charm though, something Cars 2 lacked 100%
Part of*
Spartan Gamer Yeah, I actually really liked it!! And the last 20 minutes contained a lot of awesome Pixar magic
It did!
Congrats on 800,000 subs man!
It was a great movie overall.
only cars 2 is the bad movie for pixar
zachary pulliam Cars, Cars 2, Brave and Monsters University
***** Brave and MU were pretty good
chevy_2001 They certainly weren't standouts in Disney-Pixar's filmography, though.
Tim Wilbur Cars 2 was terrible. One of pixar's worst
What do you think teenagers will think of this?
TheGamingUniverse just graduated high school and I wanna see this so badly lol grew up watching toy story everyday for a couple months
Kerri-Lynn Dunne My graduation is happening today.
Medhaav Mahesh wait.... why do they hate pixar? Haven't they seen Up yet?
Medhaav Mahesh yeah, they don't know what's a good movie. I feel you.
