Renaldo Pandaleke I love DC Comics and most of WB's stuff but I love Disney. Did you get that accusation from the whole DC vs. Rotten Tomatoes controversy?
I really don't understand the people that hate on them. Disney has & will always make amazing, beautiful stories that give you that warm, magical feeling. They don't get everything perfect, but they are pretty darn close! There's a reason they are so successful - they are great at what they do! There's always people that hate on them and nitpick everything from their casting decisions to their choice on what new ride to build at their park. Whenever people say stuff like "I'm never going back to Disney because of this blah blah" I'm just like okay...? They are one of the most successful & wealthy companies in the world so good luck with your "boycott" efforts haha.
Kelsey834 the hate is mostly from edgy, "mature" folks who prefer stuff for that's not "kiddie crap." In most instances, they usually like anime and DC Comics for those reasons. One guy even compared Disney with Barney the Dinosaur and another said "Stop watching Disney movies, it's only for kids!" with an extremely unfunny "dramatic" tone.
I like the idea that she did not have a love interest, but the whole idea having a love interest makes you "weaker" than having none is complete bullshit
If this movie turns into a box office hit and by the end of the year Disney releases Rogue One ,in 2017 Disney will buy their own country and turn it into Disneyland
I really wish I had seen *Kubo and the Two Strings* as I feel that would have been my favorite animated film of the year. As it stands my favorite animated film is *Zootopia*.
I love when Jeremy gets super excited about a film. It just lights his face up, and the 'Awesometacular' he's about to award the film is just written so clearly on his face!
I haven't in love with a Disney movie in a while and I can't stop rewatching parts of this and listening to some of the songs over and over. I liked experiencing a bit of the Polynesian cultur! I loved the ending part where she realizes where the heart goes. I plan to look more into some of the mythologies in that culture.
Ahhh! Your review has made me so happy! I've been nervous to see your review! Lol! I knew if you didn't like it, I wasn't gonna like it...which made me sad because I've been SO excited to see it (I'm of polynesian decent). Now that you've given it a thumbs up, I can go knowing I most likely will walk out happy :) Love your reviews!
Favorite Animated Film this year was Kubo and the Two Strings. That movie is simply incredible. The voice acting, the mind-blowing Stop-Motion animation, the characters, the themes (Moon/Sun, Life/Death,...) everything about it was incredibly well done. I'm really sad it only made 69 mil at the box office, wish more people would've seen it!!
Best: Your Name Second Best: Kubo and the Two Strings Worst I've seen: Kung Fu Panda 3 Not that that's a bad thing. Kung Fu Panda 3 is a good film. It's just the worst animated film I've seen this year. This has been an incredible year for animation. Zootopia is second worst though.
I loved the ending. It might have been anti-climactic action wise but I was not disappointed AT ALL. The slow motion walk towards the creature and song was honestly LEGENDARY and I don't think it needed more action. Great movie, AWESOME review, keep it coming :D
Yasmin Elmi i dont understand that, i dont see the girl in him in any form of way. anyway moana looks amazing and seems like it will just as good as kubo. high hopes for it.
Pedro Igor Haha, say whatever you want. I haven't seen a lot of them, but almost everytime I'm going to watch them I get excited (because people say they're awesome and whatnot) and end up disappointed. The ones I liked the most were Spirited Away and The Secret World of Arrietty. However, I gave Grave of the Fireflies and The Wind Rises a try and they were so boring to me. Interesting, but boring. I feel the pacing and some scenes were so slow. I don't know =/. Although, I want to watch more of them.
AliciaDarky Personally, I tend to like slow paced movies with lots of atmosphere. Some of my favorite Ghibli films are Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky and Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. By the way, did you know that Grave of the Fireflies and the Wind Rises were both based on true stories? Perhaps that's why you found them boring.
No. I consider their early day from the 40s to the late 50s Renaissance 1. Their boom in the 90 s was renaissance 2, so they're currently in renaissance 3.
I think you're mistaken- the word "Renaissance" comes from the French words for "Rebirth" or "Revival". A renaissance, by definition, can only occur if something bad has happened before it. The early days of Disney (such as the 1940s) can't be referred to as a "Renaissance" because nothing came before it at all.
Bruh a few more movies like this and Zootopia (A+) and Walt Disney Animation could actually pass Pixar. That's not something I want to admit, but it's a reality.
I mean you could say they already did, Disney's got a way way wayyyyy longer history and track record than Pixar That said tho, Inside Out + Finding Dory >>> Zootopia
Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade yeah but Pixar is still successful, it's like dissing marvel studios and Lucas film, which are also a bank for Disney.
King of Wakanda I dont know. While I feel like a bit sad that Pixar has lost it a bit for a while, I think Disney deserves some time in the spotlight (Their animation department anyways) I mean, they were here first and are legendary, not to mention the slight decay they had in the early 2000s. So Im glad with their seemingly endless streak since 2009. Besides, even bad Pixar films arent really that bad, and Inside Out was freaking awesome.
I know lol. But Pixar used to be considered superior and it's pretty cool how far Disney Animation Studios has come. To me, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia were much better than Finding Dory and Inside Out.
2016 is definitely a strong year for animated movies. I saw "Moana" today and I absolutely loved it! It ranks up there with "Zootopia", "Kubo and the Two Strings" and "Finding Dory" for me. If you're watching "Moana" be sure to stick until the end of the credits, there's a cute little scene at the end.
I'm seeing this tonight, I'm glad to hear it brought the goods. I hope it's successful, and between this and Zootopia, Disney will be all, "Hey, we can be diverse and address complex issues and still do awesome, let's do more of this!" 'Cause I want more of this.
I mean it is an objectively good song, it's just been so massively overblown that everyone hates it. Even me, the guy who just said it was an objectively good song.
Nothing can describe the love and awe I feel for Kubo and the Two Strings. Such an absolute sucker for stop motion and Kubo is so beautiful. It doesn't pander and give that happy ending you'd expect, either. Can't wait to see if this tops it or not.
Man, Disney reminds me a lot of Nintendo. They can retell similar stories over and over, but manage to infuse them with so much genuine heart. Can't wait to check this movie out.
I'm from Germany and I love your reviews. But it is a real struggle again and again to get bumped by one of your reviews for a movie that is not going to open here in theatres for at least one month. Can't wait to see this film!
I've said it a thousand times, I am so happy that Disney had an actual hawaiian woman voice one of 2 main characters in a hawaiian folk lore type movie.
I haven't seen Moana yet, but it is going to have to work really hard if it wants to Top Kubo and the Two Strings! Kubo is my favorite animated movie this year!
Nox Descious I watched both movies and Moana is Idk had me in AWE! The ocean looked soooo Real & the animation as a whole is gorgeous & stunning! Moana Maui's hair looked so real! Go judge for yourself! worth the watch!
Peter Parker I saw the movie 2 wks ago! 😂 What a hater! Stop spoiling it for others! I'm talking about "ANIMATION" not story! pls seperate the two! Better story than kubo & zootopia in my opinion. I fell asleep in some parts or if not in all the parts of those movies. My nephews & nieces were annoying me bc they didn't pay attention to most of Kubo & zootopia. But, Moana!! Boy they loved Moana. Moana is perfect for kids, stop comparing it to zootopia & kubo, both movies are different.
Micah Chiligiris Just finished Kubo, and saw Moana a few days ago, and have seen Zootopia, and I have to say, I did like Moana the best, Zootopia second, and Kubo third. Zootopia, I just didn't like as much, although it was very close. Like, 98-99. Kudos, I though took itself too seriously at the end, and didn't give the Moon King enough motivation other than, Kubo's family. Explain to me if I missed something! Thanks!
The girl who did Moana's voice out performed Dwayne Johnson. Also there are a few scenes where I wasn't on board with his performance as Maui but over all he did great. My daughter's favorite movie and one if my favorites!
One of the things i really liked in this over frozen and other disney musical animations is the songs seemed to build on one another. They all sounded connected to one another, it wasnt like well heres 1 song, then the next song, and another song, and another song.
I thought the movie was gonna be complete trash due to the trailers. The bad guy was dumbed down in the trailer and the rest of the characters acted very cartoony in the trailer too. The movie turned out to be fantastic!
Agreed, they are all so hilarious! Even my dad admitted he loved the 3rd movie and he would never admit something like that haha. You wouldn't think they were anything special from watching the trailers but if you give them a chance they're great.
I liked the movie but overall it was disapointing compared to the other two, the villain despite being OP as fuck was very bland and i couldn't stand most of the pandas in the film.
Kung Fu Panda 2 was the best, 3 wasn't as good compared to the others, the ending was cheesy, the animation got lazy, and my god the other pandas were just. Irritating, the other villains were way better
Does anyone else just love the moment where Jeremy says the name of the movie. He always says it with such a flourish. Especially in this one. "Moaaanaa..."
Animated flicks I've seen and how I'd rate them: Kung-Fu Panda 3: Awesometacular Zootopia: Blu-Ray Secret Life of Pets: No Alcohol Required Finding Dory: Blu-Ray Kubo and the Two Strings: Awesometacular Trolls: No Alcohol Required Haven't seen Moana yet, but I can't wait.
My family and i went to see it last night, and let me just say.... it was awesometacular. It had so much emotion and SUCH a strong message. Definitely one of my favorite Disney films of.... EVER! Go see it if you haven't! I guarantee you won't be disapointed! :D
Thank you for continuing your awesome videos. Love you on Collider but gotta have my favorite reviewer! Really love your funny but detailed reviews. Did you watch Split? Would love your review of that as I'm thinking of watching that in January but am obviously hesitant of the M. Night effect.
BaddestSalmon it did had a powerful message tho, didnt knee disney had the balls to adress the entire police shooting black people and racism things going on right now :d
Zootopia was my favorite animated film of the year by far but I haven't seen Moana yet but it's got a hard climb to top Zootopia which was a masterpiece
I love how this is a Moana review but everybody in the comments is like OMG kubo and the two strings was my favorite all year so great the best! Like no hate at all but Moana was Beautiful I never saw Kubo sooo
Saw it this morning and it was a blast to watch. For me the only weak point was the "shine" part of the movie. It was 95% solid and the characters were great.
Am I the only one who truly disliked Frozen? Let it Go was just a basic pop song, catchy as fuck but pretty shallow. The rest of the movie was a convoluted mess. The plot was so confused, like it wasn't sure which story it wanted to tell. The other songs were cringey. Fuck.
It is unlikely never that you are truly alone with a opion. And come on, you must have heard people saying they dislike Frozen before this. I truly love it but you can dislike it just fine, but it was not excactly a novel idea.
I saw Sven (the reindeer from Frozen) as a cameo in the movie. I was so happy when I realised I finally spotted a cameo on my own. (It's in the part Maui gets his hook back from the crab and transforms really fast the 1st time) :DD
I applauded this movie, a real classic Disney touch..The singing was awesome and there were barely any dry spots because the story was so well put together.
Great review! So excited to see it soon! My favorite animated movie this year so far is Zootopia! Love the story, characters and how clever it ties into the topics of racism. Very well done film!
OMG! Just got back from seeing it a while ago and I've got to say I've WAITED FOR SO LONG FOR A DISNEY MOVIE OR ANY MOVIE IN PARTICULAR LIKE THIS! OH MY GOSH! My favorite animated movie of the year would DEFINITELY have to be this one and Finding Dory! OH MY GOSH! NOTHING BEATS THIS MOVIE NOTHING! My favorite song is How Far I Go and that song Aue Aue that the ancestor voyagers sung, but mainly Moana's song How Far I Go. I want to see this movie again and again and again! Man! Hearing Jeremy give this movie awesometacular, man, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHOM FEELS THIS WAY! Even my brother whom is picky with movies loved it! I cannot wait till this movie comes out on DVD I CAN'T! EEP! :)
smurvin So? I never said there hasn't been bad movies this year, I'm only saying that there's been a more than usual "awesometacular" or "buy it on bluray" rating on the movies of this year so I think it isn't going to be easy to choose the top 10, besides every year he has trouble making that list.
I already have the soundtrack, and I agree with Jeremy completely. My only gripe is that in quite a few songs (almost all of them actually) Lin-Manuel Miranda writes them in such a way that two verses that are supposed to rhyme end with the same word. Example, in How Far I'll Go, he rhymes Island with Island, and in Shiny, he rhymes glitters with glitters. And even when that doesn't happen, he still repeats words quite a bit in such a way that I find more annoying than catchy. But that's an incredibly minor gripe though. I love this soundtrack to bits and I think it may be the best music we've ever gotten from Disney. Can't wait to see the movie on Friday.
well I hope Moana becomes as popular as Frozen was. tired of seeing Ana and Elsa's faces on every cereal box
do you wanna build a snowman?
lukehancock91 it doesn't have to be a snowman
Ok, bye.
No but I would like to build a wall.
yes build a 2 foot wall...
As much hate as Disney gets, they actually deserve my praise. One after the other they come out with great content again and again.
the hates only comes from WB's bitches
Renaldo Pandaleke To be fair, Fantastic Beasts was pretty good.
As someone from Hawaii, here's how you say Auli'i Cravalho's name: ow-LEE-ee cra-VAHL-yo. I gotchu, Jeremy!
My god, that was amazing. Instant classic. Lin-Manuel Miranda is the best. Definitely in my top 5 this year.
timeloop- Jeremy Jahns ive come to bargain
lets keep this meme alive people
Jeremy Jahns I've come to bargain
Jeremy Jahns I've come to bargain
No.
Jeremy Jahns I've come to bargain
Michael Garcia Bargain, I've come to Jeremy Jahns
It's kind of weird that this is the first awesometaculer Disney animated movie since Wreck it Ralph in 2012
The Vagabond Zootopia wants to have a word with you.
Except there was one that came out 8 months ago lol
zootopioa was "t;buy it on blueray"
+Yosef Yonin Zootopia was critically acclaimed and Wreck It Like Ralph isn't Pixar.
Yosef Yonin no, wreck it Ralph was Disney animation
I like the idea that she did not have a love interest, but the whole idea having a love interest makes you "weaker" than having none is complete bullshit
I mean, the music was a work of genius. You have Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa'i and Mark Mancina working together in it. The music is amazing!
Fernanda Roig How's the rock in musical numbers?
Tate Hildyard He CAN sing!
Thanks for giving us the names mate :)
Karl Maier No probs.
+tjdietz Now I feel special because I got the Hamilton reference.
If this movie turns into a box office hit and by the end of the year Disney releases Rogue One ,in 2017 Disney will buy their own country and turn it into Disneyland
3:14 in the morning and a Jeremy Jahns upload...
I'd expect nothing less at this point. His sleep cycle is doomed.
SpyHarms it's actually 12am
Ryan Torres Time Zones chap.
I feel like I've had this conversation on Jermey Jahns Videos one too many times now.
you do know that time zones exist right it doesn't have to be the same time for you as it is for jeremy
SpyHarms it's still 12 am
TheHalfSuckedMango See: "Time Zones chap."
"from the creator of Zootopia and Frozen." SAVAGE POSTER
My only problem with the film is that the pig had less screen time; almost like The Joker in Suicide Squad.
So is that stupid nightmare scene.
Yess that pig was a deliberate tease for the audiences I'm starting to feel
I really wish I had seen *Kubo and the Two Strings* as I feel that would have been my favorite animated film of the year. As it stands my favorite animated film is *Zootopia*.
The Dashboard I saw kubo just the other day and it was pretty good
The Dashboard that's exactly how I feel
Lilo and Stitch should had at least made a cameo appearance in the film.
Daniel Maximoff Who the hell is Leo? lmao 😂
Real DNA Ugh.. the little hawaiian girl that nobody seems to care about.
Daniel Maximoff I don't think you realized that you said "Leo" instead of "Lilo"
Real DNA Oh... My bad.
I don't think an ugly alien would fit very well into what they're trying to do.
ChicHulaGirl the movie does look good.
ChicHulaGirl I saw your avatar and my first thought was oh cool the girl from the movie is here.
Boba Vhett oh, gosh! I wish!!! Haha! It's just a good picture with really good lighting. 😂Thanks anyway though 😜

Slimshadow457
Best animated film: Zootopia
Worst animated film: Norm of the crap
I'm guessing you haven't seen kubo and the two strings
Taylur 41 Overrated tbh...
don't mention that garbage it's forbidden blegch
Daniel Attrell
oh, this is the most wrong comment I've ever seen on youtube
is this parody?
Best: Your Name
Second Best: Kubo and the Two Strings
Worst I've seen: Kung Fu Panda 3
Not that that's a bad thing.
The character is not played by The Rock, it's played by Dwayne Johnson the actor, he's only The Rock when on he's on WWE.
Stephen Robinson Tell that to his Twitter handle.
Stephen Robinson You're a ton of fun.
Did you know that The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are actually twins? I'ts mind blowing right?
Did you know that The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are actually twins? I'ts mind blowing right?
The only thing missing from this comment is that you didn't start it with the word actually.
Kubo and the Two Strings. Best animated film of 2016. No question!
It was my favorite animated film as well
You also have to take Zootopia into consideration. The award for best animated film of 2016 could go either way.
AJcaraballo95 Kubo's ending brought it down A LOT, it's so rushed together and messy compared to the rest of the movie
NOt only is Kubo the best animated film of 2016, but it's also the best film of 2016.
Zootopia was better.
Kubo and the two strings was definitely my favourite animated movie this year, but who knows maybe Moana could top it? Idk kubo was soooo good....
Yasmin Elmi If you must blink do it now.........
PnG pay attention to everything you see no matter how unusual it may seem💕💕 magical.
Yasmin Elmi ok the important question... did u think kubo was a boy or a girl at first sight?
PnG I thought it was about a girl in the trailer at first 😂😂
Yasmin Elmi i dont understand that, i dont see the girl in him in any form of way.
anyway moana looks amazing and seems like it will just as good as kubo. high hopes for it.
I wonder has Jeremy reviewed any ghibli films? if not he should really start going at it then.
Why? Most of them are boring =S.
AliciaDarky I believe you meant to say "fantastic". Most of them are awesome and everyone knows this. If not, they should know.
taste is taste, that said your taste is shit m8.
Pedro Igor Haha, say whatever you want. I haven't seen a lot of them, but almost everytime I'm going to watch them I get excited (because people say they're awesome and whatnot) and end up disappointed.

Bravonanda Moirangthem hahahah
Bravonanda Moirangthem tnx chris
I give your review of this review a C
Bravonanda Moirangthem your comment + profile picture = perfection XD
Jotaro Kujo Your comment + incorrect grammar= That's not how you use "you're" XD
Wow Disney! more movies and more money! Lol. I'm happy for them. for real.. Disney has been making great movies too.
SuperShah201 Wooh! Disney Renaissance 3.0!
Don't you mean Disney Renaissance 2.0?
Cometmoon448 Whoops. I just thought it meant period of temporary physical peak.
Bruh a few more movies like this and Zootopia (A+) and Walt Disney Animation could actually pass Pixar. That's not something I want to admit, but it's a reality.
Don't forget that a lot of people still watch Pixar movies due to the brand name, so i don't think Pixar will be dead anytime soon...
I mean you could say they already did, Disney's got a way way wayyyyy longer history and track record than Pixar
That said tho, Inside Out + Finding Dory >>> Zootopia
Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade yeah but Pixar is still successful, it's like dissing marvel studios and Lucas film, which are also a bank for Disney.

Pixar is owned by Walt Disney Animation so this comment is irrelevant.
I've preferred Disney over Pixar lately. Cars 3 looks interesting though. :D
meganisaghost Well, Disney owns Pixar and most of the animation division is Pixar.
It's basically one and the same now
meganisaghost animation wise, cars 3 looks amazing. FUCKIN'. AMAZING.
I know lol. But Pixar used to be considered superior and it's pretty cool how far Disney Animation Studios has come. To me, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia were much better than Finding Dory and Inside Out.
disney is disney lol
OGstoopkid It really does. It's so crazy when looking back at the first one.

Same! Liked it more than frozen!
WolverinesNation92 I hope I feel this way too
WolverinesNation92 yes this was for sure the best animated film of the year
WolverinesNation92 it was amazing I've seen it twice already and I want to see it again
That's the second time this year Jeremy Jahns has surprised me with an animated awesometacular.
Movie was fucking amazing. I find no fault in it 10/10.
I want to see an unedited version of Jeremy's reviews no cuts
RIP Harambe I want to see people stop talking about you
What a beautiful movie, I felt like i was watching Finding Nemo again for the first time. The music is fantastic and will give you chills
I'm seeing this tonight, I'm glad to hear it brought the goods. I hope it's successful, and between this and Zootopia, Disney will be all, "Hey, we can be diverse and address complex issues and still do awesome, let's do more of this!" 'Cause I want more of this.
I stand by it.
Let it go is a fantastic song.
DFizzlio Oh boy, have you started a flame war!
I mean it is an objectively good song, it's just been so massively overblown that everyone hates it. Even me, the guy who just said it was an objectively good song.
That song was straight ass cheeks bro
Hardly anyone will deny that Let it Go was a good song. It was just overused.
Jonathan Young's rock version is goddamn spectacular.
Nothing can describe the love and awe I feel for Kubo and the Two Strings. Such an absolute sucker for stop motion and Kubo is so beautiful. It doesn't pander and give that happy ending you'd expect, either. Can't wait to see if this tops it or not.
still watch this movie all the time
Man, Disney reminds me a lot of Nintendo. They can retell similar stories over and over, but manage to infuse them with so much genuine heart. Can't wait to check this movie out.
Am I the only one who took a second to see if Disney would really spell Skynet...
PythonHunter no I definitely did that as well.
The closest it gets is seynid.
PythonHunter no but it does spell Sidney
GraftinRealShizz
Good eye.
PythonHunter
Just for a second...
I'm from Germany and I love your reviews. But it is a real struggle again and again to get bumped by one of your reviews for a movie that is not going to open here in theatres for at least one month. Can't wait to see this film!
How much you wanna bet Chris gives this movie an A-
He already reviewed it and he did give it an A-
Zootopia is my jam! 🐰🐺
L
I've said it a thousand times, I am so happy that Disney had an actual hawaiian woman voice one of 2 main characters in a hawaiian folk lore type movie.
Don DeSilva I think The Rock is actually part Hawaiian
Mega1gamer he's Samoan not Hawaiian smh
Can't wait! I grew up on Maui stories.
I haven't seen Moana yet, but it is going to have to work really hard if it wants to Top Kubo and the Two Strings! Kubo is my favorite animated movie this year!

I've been singing the soundtrack ever since they released it, now I REALLLLYYY need to see it in theaters!
This and Pokemon Sun/Moon got me feeling so tropical lately.
Here were my top 5 favorite animated films of 2016
5. Kubo and The Two Strings

It's the second time that the ad before your review of a movie is the trailer for that same movie.
This and Kubo are tied for my favorite animated film this year.
hey man! I've been a fan since you had 100 subs! your always my go to movie reviewer!
Everyone is talking about "Which is better, Moana or Zootopia" and I'm just here enjoying Kubo...
Thanks!
same zootopia is like too political, lile the things they talk about, i really like the movie but moana is a little better for me
The girl who did Moana's voice out performed Dwayne Johnson. Also there are a few scenes where I wasn't on board with his performance as Maui but over all he did great. My daughter's favorite movie and one if my favorites!
Roadhog gets to be in a movie?!???!?!?!
fordis2 Oh my god-
fordis2 Roadhog: Origins
Including a cameo from young Junkrat
One of the things i really liked in this over frozen and other disney musical animations is the songs seemed to build on one another. They all sounded connected to one another, it wasnt like well heres 1 song, then the next song, and another song, and another song.
I've been saying this movie will win Best Animated Feature since last year and I still believe that
Josh TROR But but...what about Zootopia. ..that's movie was brilliant
Zootopia is way fucking overrated. It's another frozen, an ok movie that people give too much praise to.
ttv0 on what grounds
ttv0
I'll give you Frozen, but tell me why Zootaopia is overrated.
Grayson Myers On what grounds? My opinion that's what grounds. What a dumb question.
Speaking of good things in 2016, this is probably one of your best reviews, Jeremy! Awesometacular!!
Kung Fu Panda 3, favourite animated movie of the year
I thought the movie was gonna be complete trash due to the trailers.
Ariel de la Cruz The personalities of the pandas were irritating af!
Zootopia should've been awesometacular... which it is by the way.
I love how real you are when you review. "Yep. Not cutting that." Or in the other one when your phone went off. Lol
All of it. So good.👍🏼
Please do a video about Cars 3.I want to hear your thoughts on it.
Ahmet Kurum
I KNOW! IT'S SO DAMN DARK!!!!
yo that trailer....... Jesus.
you barely see anything to critique though.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a trailer review.I just wanna hear his thoughts about it.
He will do it today on collider
Animated flicks I've seen and how I'd rate them:
Kung-Fu Panda 3: Awesometacular
Zootopia: Blu-Ray
Secret Life of Pets: No Alcohol Required
Finding Dory: Blu-Ray
Kubo and the Two Strings: Awesometacular
Trolls: No Alcohol Required
Haven't seen Moana yet, but I can't wait.
I wasn't expecting it to be as good as Zootopia, but that Awesometacular rating wow.
I kinda wish he talked about Auli'i's performance instead of only focussing on Dwayne Johnson, because for a newcomer she was incredible too.
My family and i went to see it last night, and let me just say.... it was awesometacular. It had so much emotion and SUCH a strong message. Definitely one of my favorite Disney films of.... EVER! Go see it if you haven't! I guarantee you won't be disapointed! :D
Is it just me, or has there been more Awesometscular movies this year, then in any other previous years? Great video Jeremy, as always.
and also I'm shiny! that song will be stuck in my head till the end of time
Thank you for continuing your awesome videos. Love you on Collider but gotta have my favorite reviewer! Really love your funny but detailed reviews. Did you watch Split? Would love your review of that as I'm thinking of watching that in January but am obviously hesitant of the M. Night effect.
So Zootopia is only Blu-ray but Moana is Awesometacular, huh?
Bruno Ramadanoski well for him it is. it may not be for you though, because everybody has a different opinion.
O P I N I O N S
Bruno Ramadanoski Yep.
Zootopia is overrated as shit
BaddestSalmon it did had a powerful message tho, didnt knee disney had the balls to adress the entire police shooting black people and racism things going on right now :d
Zootopia was my favorite animated film of the year by far but I haven't seen Moana yet but it's got a hard climb to top Zootopia which was a masterpiece
I love how this is a Moana review but everybody in the comments is like OMG kubo and the two strings was my favorite all year so great the best! Like no hate at all but Moana was Beautiful I never saw Kubo sooo
2 animated films in the same year getting Awesometacular?!?! Off to the theater!!!
Hello
My name is Moana Montoya
You killed my island
Prepare to sail
Saw it this morning and it was a blast to watch. For me the only weak point was the "shine" part of the movie. It was 95% solid and the characters were great.
Excellent movie but Kubo is still my favorite animated film of the year.
John Smith it was pretty good
Either Zootopia or Kung Fu Panda 3.
Great video Jeremy! Very excited to see this movie.
Am I the only one who truly disliked Frozen? Let it Go was just a basic pop song, catchy as fuck but pretty shallow. The rest of the movie was a convoluted mess. The plot was so confused, like it wasn't sure which story it wanted to tell. The other songs were cringey. Fuck.
Awkwardtunity WOW!! you're old as fuck, also this isn't a frozen review
diamonds 5 well he did specifically reference let it go, so I assume OP is just voicing their disapproval over its popularity.
Awkwardtunity hated the song...but the movie waa actually pretty good
lol you can't even understand a simple children story? how come? do you watch it while you drunk or something?
It is unlikely never that you are truly alone with a opion. And come on, you must have heard people saying they dislike Frozen before this. I truly love it but you can dislike it just fine, but it was not excactly a novel idea.
I saw Sven (the reindeer from Frozen) as a cameo in the movie. I was so happy when I realised I finally spotted a cameo on my own. (It's in the part Maui gets his hook back from the crab and transforms really fast the 1st time) :DD
Best Disney movie imo brings back soo many memories.
I applauded this movie, a real classic Disney touch..The singing was awesome and there were barely any dry spots because the story was so well put together.
My favorite animated movie of 2016 is still Gods of Egypt, although Alice Through the Looking Glass is a close second.
Ah I see what you did there. But still Dr.Strange beats both of those
Kubo and the Two Strings was my favorite animated movie this year ! Laika is possibly my favorite animated studio next to Disney
Moana is better then Frozen yeah I'd said it
Kubo and the Two Strings is my favorite animated film of the year.
Followed by Zootopia.
With Moana in third.
But they're all really close.
Lin Manuel Miranda strikes again
Best animated film this year? Easy. Your Name or Kimi No Na Wa. Not only the best animated film this year, maybe one of the best ever for me.
Can't wait to see Moana!! :D Excellent review as always Jeremy. ^_^
My favorite animated film this year was the Japanese movie "Your Name" by Makoto Shinkai... That's an Oscar award winning animation right there.
Just when you thought Disney had forgotten about animated movies because of Marvel and Star Wars (BOOM!)
You're welcome
the song that will replace Let It Go...i think you were referring to either How Far I'll Go or You're Welcome
Let It Go is my fucking jam.
Easily one of the best workout songs ever made.
Great review! So excited to see it soon!
My favorite animated movie this year so far is Zootopia! Love the story, characters and how clever it ties into the topics of racism. Very well done film!
Disney...
Syined...
Close enough
L
3-1
EEP! :)
I feel like Jeremy is gonna have a really tough time making the top ten list of best movies of 2016...
Ehh, there've been many average to mediocre to awful movies that came out this year, so I doubt it
Can't wait to see the movie on Friday.
cheese4g what a wonderful review of the soundtrack! I'm so excited to buy it now. ☺️
