Looks like you need to get rid of the keg and get a Hughes intake. Best move I ever did more power faster acceleration oh and empties the tank faster too
The throttle spacer is useless on this motor its fuel injected right into the cinder. Throttle spacers are for carbonated engines. it gives more space for fuel atomization
Absolutely nothing… It was common with the carbureted motors and made more sense because it helped cool fuel, but putting on a fuel injection does nothing…
Very nice rig dude. So that tuner really wakes it up huh? I’ve been thinking about getting one too but they’re 400$ Jesus… But in the future I’ll probably try to pick one up
Not sure, these older Rams only made about 265hp from the factory. It definitely gained more power from the programmer and air intake mods though. Every bit helps. I wish it was a nice diesel motor though!
@@Temptation_Offroad yeah that'd be really really nice I have a stock 01 ram it was my father's but he got a new one and give this one to me and I'm rebuilding it from the ground up, so I though just rebuild the engine with nothing but performance parts
@@Riley.m565 Hell yeah! Nothing wrong with that. These trucks have durable good motors in them, transmissions not so much😂🤣😂. Have fun with the build and keep me posted how it goes when you get it all done!
@@Riley.m565 your gonna need a deep wallet to get any respectable power out of these magnums better off with a late model hemi have 2 2nd gen 1500s my 98 super sport is going to a 5.7 and my 97 quad cab long bed is getting a 12 valve after the axle swap for these magnums just for a throttle body and intake manifold is around a grand and that’s not even getting into the valve train or rotating assembly and most of these motors are pushing 200k miles they are wornout at max your probably get 175 to 180 to the wheels by the time you rebuild a magnum to make 350 you could have swapped in a 5.7 for around 1200 or less
your exhaust I highly recommend 90's Series Flow Master. I put one on my truck sounds amazing
are sure that filter is making more hp or should i just buy a better carburetor i

Awesome videos! I’m putting truetracs on my Ram 1500 this weekend. Question!? With the tuner, are you running premium unleaded with the tow tune?
If the manual says it requires it for that tune then yes. I follow what the manual reccomends.
do you remember the horsepower you added with this tune? i might do a 60hp tune but i dont want to mess anything up internally
I think it adds 45hp max or something like that. Gas tuners dont normally add much HP on these year/model trucks.
Have you felt any difference with the throttle spacer? The Holley throttle body is around $500, but not sure how much of a difference it makes
Not much, i notice more of a air whine/turbo type sound... Thats really about the only difference ive ever noticed.

@@bloodgod282 carbonated like a soda or carbureted?
Did you use a standard(not thick) 4.56 gear set for your front truetrac diff?
I didn't know there was a difference..🤷🏽♂️ I ordered mine front and back 4.56 gears from 4wheelparts online a long time ago when we put them in.
Pretty sure I put in the G2 ring and pinion gears when we did.
Do you have the link for the cold air intake? I have the same exact truck with a 6" lift and 35" Ironmans.
Its a S&B cold air intake.... They might have stopped making them for this truck now. I can only find the replaceable filters
@@Temptation_Offroad oh ok i appreciate you taking the time to look ill keep searching around, Thank you!
what gearing did you change to?
4.56 gears and they work perfect for the tire size.
cool
What tires are those??
