    THE MEAL PLAN:
    6 am: moringa juice
    exercise: check for Leslie Sansone walk at home videos
    8 am: breakfast:
    Tulsi Smoothie Bowl:
    1 frozen banana
    10-12 tulsi (holy basil) leaves - do not have tulsi when you are menstruating.
    homemade curd: 1/2 cup
    water: 1/2 to 3/4 cup (depending on how thick or thin you want the smoothie to be).
    flax seeds: 1 tbsp
    ---------- toppings------
    10 almonds, sliced.
    1 tsp chia seeds
    1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
    1 tsp cacao nibs
    1/3 tsp DIY turmeric tea mix (links above)
    -----------
    Mid morning snack: 10 am
    pomegranate seeds or any fruits like 2 round slices of pineapple, half a mango, a small bowl of watermelon, grapes, strawberries etc
    --------
    1 pm : lunch - Spicy Ragi Porridge
    3-4 tbsp ragi flour
    1 1/2 to 2 cups of water, depending on how thick or thin you want the porridge to be
    2 tbsp grated coconut
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1/4 tsp black pepper powder
    ----------
    sliced coconut pieces: 1 tbsp
    1 medium shallot
    Green chilies: 1
    whole red chilies: 2
    curry leaves
    1 tsp coconut oil
    1/2 tsp jeera
    1/4 tsp methi seeds
    --------------
    Eve: 4 pm - half a handful of roasted peanuts/cashew nuts
    --------------------
    Dinner: 7 pm
    cooked single polished rice: 1/2 cup

    try to sleep after 2 hours of dinner
    drink plenty of water all through the day and keep yourself hydrated
    you can mix and match from my other meal plan.
    Thyroid and diabetic people can have this meal plan.
    If you are taking meds for thyroid, have it on empty stomach and take the juice only after 30-40 mins.

    I am glad that I am following your wonderful channel. It is been a long time since I was diagnosed with PCOS & I tried everything to lose some weight as doctors advised me.. My tries were disappointing , BUT when I tried this plan it actually worked!!! I lost 5 kilos in just ten days.. So thank you very much ❤ My question now is: It is ok to continue doing the same plan for more than ten days? Is there another diet plan with different meals that may suit me ? Also what can help me assure a healthy pregnancy?

    Anyone reading this comment, different parts of the country has different dietary cultures, hence different local foods. It is important to find local alternatives to what ma'am has suggested. You will still lose weight. Don't be anxious. Read, identify and follow the general instructions ma'am has mentioned.

    You have very unique recipes. Would love more meal options please. I have PCOD which has led to diabetes post my son's delivery and I have recently had a major spine surgery so still in recovery from that so cannot move around too much. I am looking forward to health this year.

      the smoothies I have shared are all perfect for you. I have shared some rice bowls too. I do not use sugar, refined oil, or processed foods in my recipes.     i followed for 10 days loosed 3kg...but i cheated by having seasonal fruit mango little more suddenly i got gain while during the 10 days challenge...but im happy to have 3kg weight loss along in 3 days by eating healthy and also the recipies are affordable

    Hello Nisa ji, I'm so glad I found your videos:) Really appreciate your efforts. definitely going to try your meal plans :) I have pcos and hypothyroid. I have few questions
    1) I take thyroid medication on empty stomach early morning so how long should I wait to take this tea, for that matter any juice you have recommended in your videos?
    2) I also take metformin medicine for pcos n insulin resistance and fish oil supplement as my triglycerides were high 326. so is it safe to take moringa tea or will it interfere with my medication? Pls suggest. Thank you:)

    Hello! I found your video quite interesting as I am myself suffering from PCOD... But I stay in hostel and eat in hostel mess.. Food in our mess Is quite healthy.. They provide us usual roti, rice, daal, some curry (varies everyday) fruits /something sweet and butter milk... Can you suggest some other types of food similar to your video which is easy to make and won't consume a lot time?

    Hi Nisha. I watch all your videos n appreciate all the effort you put in to make them. But just to inform you, Flaxseeds are phytoestrogen or plant estrogen. if someone who has a case of PCOD produces too much estrogen, it crowds out progesterone in the body, which is needed to ward off osteoporosis, convert fat into energy, metabolize glucose, prepare the uterus for an egg, and other important cell functions. The resulting imbalance can produce a even more complicated combination of PCOS symptoms including those listed above. I was told my dietician this and then researched about the same. I was surprised why my doctor hadnt mentioned but when I confronted he had agreed on some studies proving negative impact..

      Yes, flax seeds are plant estrogen. But when they are absorbed into the blood stream as food, these plant estrogens help make up for the hormonal imbalance of pcos. Studies has shown that consumption of the seed showed a significant decrease in androgen, testosterone, and hirsutism. Also, the omega 3 in the seeds will help to reduce inflammation, relieve, joint, and muscle pain, and regulate hormone production. Using of desi ghee in limited quantity will help to metabolise glucose, prevent osteoporosis and helps to convert fat into energy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being here :)

I mentioned only because I'm doing my own research right now into phytoestrogens and PCOS - some experts say that soy and flax are horrendous for PCOS, while others claim that they're ok, because they "block" stronger estrogens from attaching to receptors. There's always conflicting info!

    Hi mam...superb video. i have pcos for the past 10yrs. i have two kids.but menstrual cycle is always abnormal. when i get dark skin.obesity, low eye sight,lot of hair loss,acne..god...then only i realized i have pcos...but whenever i take medicines to cure this, that time i got these symptoms more and more..like severe hair fall...then i found home remedies in internet, then i stop all the medicines and had lot of fruits and vegetables. then i got more fairy skin without any marks, also my adipose wait decreased. but still i didn't get my regular periods.so again i go to doctor...and take medicines..again i am getting these all problems..god ...i am very tired mam...now i would like to start your diet meal plan.but i didn't do any exercise..shall i join belly dance class? because i want to loose my belly. overall i am looking lean.because of belly i am looking like bulky.if i do exercise my overall body wait will decrease.it won't be nice.. can u please tell me what i do? whatever i do i didn't get any results about my hair problem...i am getting baldness mam..plz help me what i do? dermatologist has given me minoxidil solution.?! thanks in advance..

    Hi Nisha,
    This diet plan looks absolutely balanced and perfect. I live in the North Pacific and don't get enough time to cook everyday, what are your thoughts on freezing these meals after making them beforehand for a week? Plus, can I use powered moringa and powered or dried tulsi leaves ?

      you can freeze fruits and use dried or powdered tulsi...as you are not reheating it, it is okay! but I am not sure about the other meals. hope this helps :)

      Yes, heena! suitable for thyroid also. But if taking meds, take juice only after 30 mins of meds.

    Hello. What can I replace homemade curd?

      U need to reduce weight, check ur body mass from any nutritionist and check water retention in your body and fat in the body. Weight loss is the only option for pcos and regular periods.. doctor will never recommend medicines as they don't work and there are no such medicines.m weight loss is the option

      @@onepath4584 there is no medicine for pcos... You just need to work on your lifestyle to make it better. Like loosing weight, proper food and enough sleep, less stress, exercise. No medicine can cure pcos

    Hi, thanks a lot for the wonderful recipes, some of the ingredients you use, I can't find it here in Germany, for example Tulsi, and I'm really worried if my spices are not so good, although I try to buy them always from Indian stores.
    Can you please suggest what I can use instead or how to know if the spices I'm using are good enough.
