Blasphemous 2- How to dodge Eviterno, Last Desecrator (2nd Phase)

Did it for a friend that found it difficult to follow instructions in Blasphemous 2
Word of advice, Eviterno's hurt boxes remain in the air even after doing them, I think they basically last for 1 frame or 2 over any aerial attack or overhead, and don't dodge him from the air or use air dashes as he is faster than you anyway by teleporting or telegraphing, so he WILL catch you, even his big fuck off sword attack in the air can be easily dodged from the ground, you don't need to and I would advise against air dodges in this boss fight unless you know he is doing his second attack or finishes his third for you to pummel him.
The rapiers have bigger invincibility frames, Veredicto is only gonna be doable if you are spamming spells from the air for air time, baiting him into a lunge but expect a helm splitter, you can tank two hits from Eviterno with Alba's health regen as long as you finish the combo.
Air combos and air dashes are NOT the way you win this boss fight.

Read description, to keep it short, he has hurt frames that stay in the air in most of his wide attacks, dodging in the ground is good for the whole fight.

​​​​@@slick3996​Ah, my game is prepatch, I used Veredicto to make use of Magic as a form of air combat then, he becomes a challenging but fun boss fight if you become a carpet bomber, but I never elected to win the game via cheesing stop time, besides that, I keep my save intact so I can fight Eviterno, since he is that fun to fight.
