I too am a Senior, single and living alone. Never really had Family or Friends. Thank You so Much for showing me what a close, loving Family is supposed to be. Here I am at almost 67 years old, doing my best to follow along with the steps to make “homemade” pasta like an Italian Grandmother. As a Black Man born and bred in the “pulled pork” capitol of the U.S. (SouthEastern North Carolina), my late Grandmother would be smiling.
“A little bit of pasta, a little bit of love,” this speaker is gloriously beautiful. I’m talking movie star quality. Her demeanor harkens to Grace Kelly. Her appearance, to Catherine Deneuve. Am I the only one that see this(?)
Graccie, Gennaro. Io sono Italobrasiliano. Love to see you and Antonio cooking and showing the best of our people. The love for simple things, family and friends. God bless you. Hope to meet you one day.
This series pushed me to visit a 2nd time with my family. We're now approaching our 7th trip to Italy and dont plan on stopping! Kids have their favourite restaurants and gelato places now lol
Thank you Gennaro for posting these videos. 40 years ago I fell in love with Italy after just one visit, and I learned to cook Italian food at home because my father wouldn't eat 'anything foreign' and Mother was only allowed to cook English dinners - so I had to learn to cook it myself. When I was 17 I made a pasta bolognese for my boyfriend and he was impressed hehe. I brought my family up on traditional Italian food, made my own pasta etc, you can't beat it :o) I love these videos, they are so inspiring!
This is just so perfect, I just made some gnocchi and searched for some video to watch and then my favorite series pops up and gennaro uploads it himself. Thank you Gennaro & R.I.P Antonio!
2024 I have so much admiration for two of most legendary Italian gentlemen Antonio and Genaro. Every morsel of Italian food presented and eaten is and will be forever 😋 ingrained in my heart. I LOVE TWO GREEDY ITALIANS ❤...😊
I love to see the both of you again. I used to you every video of you both. Being Italian myself it brings memories. I still watch all your new posts. Thank you for this
This is pure passion, it’s part of their DNA , a smell a touch a memory, all senses wakening up . Good or bad but it is a sense of belonging purpose. ❤❤
This is the more than a food program. This is learning about the oldschool values of life! These values are the ones that humanity will miss in the future!
I miss bologna. I know bolognese food is known for it's richness, but i was so surprise to find it clean and pure in flavors. The piadina was a revelation! I'm surprised it's not more popular globally. It was a pleasure watching the chefs making tortellini by hand.
I met Gennaro when I was 18, working for Jamie Oliver (well, his restaurant, never met him). He is as lovely and passionate in real life as he is on TV.
I have been in Italy around 15 times. Cooking, eating and drinking is like making love. You do it with passion or you do not do it. There is no way around it.
I remember watching this series on TV Paprika and it was such a joy seeing these two chefs traveling, seeing such amazing 🤩 sites from Italy and exploring new food 😊😊
I don't think that any of you was/is greedy* in any way! Both of you have my sympathy! 🤗 I think you, Gennaro, could appear in any place in the world and the people would like you as you like the people, independent from their nationality. 😃👍 Greetings from Germany 🤗 *You're a professional. And every professional needs to step onto the feet of someone who doesn't support the whole team and business. That's not greedy, it's just professionalism to keep a business running for everyone. 😉
Two gentlemen with soul to spare. This is worth watching. Good people and a genuine message of love, friendship, food and family. RIP Antonio, you left a legacy on YT
Not all of us. Growing up we sat down together to eat the evening meal especially on Sunday. I do the same with my wife and daughter as much as possible. It isn't as easy these days due to conflicting work times but we manage. It's important to us as we get to talk and know what's going on with each other.
The music and editing here is different from the other version available on TH-cam. Just so refreshing. Well I’ve watched enough times of the other version such that I could detect the differences haha!
Sitting at the Tamburini and eating the same Mortadella today with my cousin who originally introduced me to your videos - such a blessing to know about this. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏻
So sad that this is rapidly dying out and that today everything is pre-done. The love and art of creating food has been lost to processed by machines for you. Or 'Hello Fresh'. For me , I say no! I still love to cook. Also I am very fortunate that I have an authentic Italian Bistro a few miles away where everything is truly authentic and cook traditionally. I am always greeted as a family member and the hospitality is moving.
I can't wait til you All make another video.. Love wstching you.. Am sad My mama and Noni are both gone... So I just maybe some one can adopt me into their Familia ♥️🇮🇹
Antonio is greatly missed, but it's so nice to see videos like this to remind us of him.
In life, all you need is a meal and someone to share it with.
Thank you for posting this, Gennaro! It was so hard to view this series anywhere anymore, and I missed it!
where is gennaro, is he still around the business?
@@jasonfifty5 I think he was still making videos around Covid.

Genaro made a fancy dinner with zabaglione 👏👏👏 ✨ ✨ ✨✨✨
Stop making me cry gennaro! The nostalgia is too much. Never change, you know what life is about and how to teach the world about it. Lots of love.
“A little bit of pasta, a little bit of love,” this speaker is gloriously beautiful. I’m talking movie star quality. Her demeanor harkens to Grace Kelly. Her appearance, to Catherine Deneuve. Am I the only one that see this(?)

The factory will NEVER lead to the end of mamma’s cooking. Make it Sundays only perhaps. But never replace.

Just wonderful to watch again. Why have we strayed so far from the love of our families in the UK?
Not all of us. Growing up we sat down together to eat the evening meal especially on Sunday. I do the same with my wife and daughter as much as possible. It isn't as easy these days due to conflicting work times but we manage. It's important to us as we get to talk and know what's going on with each other.

Ho vissuto a Bologna per quasi 20 anni. Sono tornato nel mio paese 30 anni fa, ma non passa giorno in cui non mi manchi Bologna.
