Hi Gary, I have contacted you several times over the past few years regarding several generators including the Champion 41532. I own off grid property in Maine and the Champion has been flawlessly providing juice whenever needed. I did an interesting conversion which I wanted to share with you and your viewers. Since many of my appliances run on LPG I thought that it would make sense to convert the genny to LP also. I ordered a Tri Fuel carburetor from Champion (Gasoline, NG, LP) which luckily had the exact same bolt pattern. The only alteration needed was removing the choke lever from the stock carb and installing it on the Tri Fuel carb. So far it runs perfectly and I have a 150 gallon piglet tank that the gas company fills when needed.
Hi. I bought this same generator and it works great...except the remote start. It has never worked. Remote does nothing. The pairing switch and light also have never worked. I called it in and they sent me a new remote and a module. I tried to program the new remote and it does nothing as well. Assuming it's the module. Will change this out, based on your excellent video. If there is anything else you can think of, please advise. Many thanks!
Let me know if you run into any issues. We can always jump on a TH-cam live to try to troubleshoot. Champion is also very good with getting one of their engineers on the phone to help as well. Make sure the battery's in the remote are good. The generator also needs a fully charged battery as well. Thank you for watching.
Gary - Question about this model 41532 (I have the same one); I have a new carb installed (replaced from a recall) ... If the generator is not being used (overnight) and the gas valve is left to 'ON', is it normal for the carb to get flooded? I know the manual recommends it to be 'OFF' when not in use but I'd expect at least to be no flooding or gas dripping. Otherwise, the generator runs fine when running.
Hi Gary, great video on the champion generator. I recently contacted you to your provided contact and hoping it is still your current email. I have a specific problem with my Champion (41532) and was asking for some help. Thank you!

@@sgsmallenginerepair6780sorry, wrong contact
This is the best explanation of components I have heard. Well done. This is a great video and I appreciate that you took the time to put it out there.
Excellent presentation - clear and concise!

The needle/seat is leaking. Probably dirt in the channel or float is stuck open.

Catching up on comments my apologies I did not see this. Let me know if you are still looking for assistance.
Can You give me a link to the AVR 8wires that you install on the Champion Generator Model 41532
Hey, you can grab the schematic directly on champions website.
My positive wire form the battery to the generator came out of the generator but can't find anywhere it goes to this is not my strong point
The positive battery cable goes to the starter solenoid
I have the same problem but I can't figure out where to connect the red wire to on the starter. Do you have any pictures?
