You can put Whatever You want in your crab cakes...Im from Maryland Born and Raised and still live in Maryland ..No baking powder, no blk pepper or tyme but Hey Girl im sure there Good
So glad you said to fold the crab! So many over handle the crab and end up breaking it up into shreds!! Looks delicious! And I'm alwayyyss tastin in the kitchen!! And I just bought that same plate lmao!! Making them tonight! You have a new sub!!
I prefer the baked ones. No grease. I do brush mine lightly with melted butter before going into the oven to help get them a little more color on top. There's no wrong way however, you like what you like, I just like mine baked.
Fam! The Cook Book Bible? LOL!! Too funny. Crabcakes aren't my thing but fam, those broiled crabcakes looked right. This is why I call you Chef, because you can cook everything. You sure do know your CBB (Cook Book Bible).🙂 Great job Chef!
I'm a Severn River Rat, born and raised!!! These looked really good!!! Not a big fan of veggies and anything but yellow mustard in my crab cakes, but that's personal preference. BTW - Chances are Phillip's crab meat is not only NOT Maryland crabmeat, it's most likely not American crab meat. They were one of the first and one of the largest Asian crab meat processors and importers.

The broiled seems so much easier, you don't have a chance of breaking the cake because you don't have to flip it. They all turned out so nice.
