I was diagnosed with RA 1988 when I was 36 yrs, my doctor told me that I will just have to put up with it for the rest of my life there is nothing he can do for me, he would not give me any pain relieve.1996 I changed doctors I was prescribed co-codamol capsules. I eat healthy but the RA pain is in all my joints especially severe in the left of my back making walking most difficult. I have been house bound since 2005. My hands are deformed, my knuckles are inflamed they feel as hard as rocks, my fingers cannot move very well, the pain in my fingers feels like they have been trapped in a door. Thank you Doctor for your Lecture.

My knees crippled me with pain until I took 3 nutritionals. Niacinamide, boron and MSM. I no longer need a cane or have any knee pain. I'm not selling, just sharing. I'm 66 years and retired with no investment in this.

Fatigue is the worst. The lack of energy is depressing. It makes you the party pooper All the time. Needing naps, ‘sleepdays’ and being careful not doing too much daily.
Dr described me mtx twice, which caused me so sick I couldn’t function All together but She won’t give me anything else in spite of two medication poisonings. This talk gives me the impression there are more possibilities.

This is where we humans make a mistake. A group of people might have inflammation, joint problems, etc, but different causes. What works for you might not work for somebody else. Also, when it comes to diet, a low or not carb diet is hard to follow for poor families. A head of lettuce can cost more than a pound of pasta. If we really want to help, maybe we can joint in some kind of food justice where everyone can afford healthy food. I am not making an excuse, but the struggle is real. Also, there are some pain cause by nerve damage. Please, understand. What works for you, might not work for other person.

Dark Green leafy vegetables smoothies every single day, twice a day removes inflammation immediately and eliminates pain. Medicines keep people sick. I like Spinach, green apple, cucumber or celery, strawberry or blueberries, half lemon juice, ice, water, and 1 scoop protein powder (optional).

Green smoothies are a better more healthy choice over pharmaceuticals for sure but they didn't work for me. I went meat, dairy, gluten and sugar-free for over a year yet my disease progressed. I have chronic reactive arthritis I presented with no other symptoms no STD etc. Six years after onset I'm on a different biologic every couple of years. They are a godsend. I wouldn't be able to move, walk, dance anything. I do not take a DMARD like methotrexate the side effects outweighed any benefits. I would still recommend one try the leafy green smoothie route before drugs as everyone's immune system is unique it could work for them.

I have psoriatic arthritis. I couldn’t tolerate the meds. I was given, so have tried vit. K, D, and diet. Eliminating all processed food as well as high fructose corn syrup, sugar, bleached flours, etc. I eat most everything, but only small portions of meat and dairy. With these I use only free range, unpasteurized animal products. Most of my diet is organic vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. Raw nuts are helpful as are cherries.

      Where are the proofs ?

    • @romulo560
      @romulo560 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

"Free Range" is a term the food industry uses to deceive customers who are concerned about animal suffering. Free range egg farms buy their egg laying hens from hatcheries which shred and grind male chicks alive, considering them waste products because they can't produce eggs. The free range egg laying hens are still murdered against their will when they can no longer produce eggs. Free range cows are still separated from their calves so that we can drink their calves' milk. Sometimes the calves are killed the moment they are born if they are males. If the males are not killed, they are sold to the meat industry. Some calves are fastened in holding containers so that they can't move around, which weakens their muscles, and this is because people involved the veal industry like the feeling of tender flesh in their mouths (the more tender the better). After the free range dairy cow can no longer produce milk, it is killed at half its natural lifespan (and oftentimes skinned alive for leather because the industry doesn't care enough to make sure each cow is unconscious and dead before the skinning process. It is not allowed to live out its life in happiness and die of old age. Please don't believe the "Free Range" label. The only thing that label means is that the company is trying to deceive you and hide the suffering you are causing by paying for the product. And ask, "Why are they trying to hide the process from me?" Please start by searching for a video on TH-cam of male chicks being "macerated".

I only can advise you to go to the Dead Sea for 3 to 4 weeks, either to the Israeli - or the Jordanian side (i don't know in which country you live) The jordanian side is about 30% cheaper. I the past I have been working at various skin clinics at the Dead Sea and I remember the benefit people had from both the sea and the sun. Think it over and all the best from the Middle East.

Healthy lifestyle choices (exercise, avoid alcohol etc), reducing stress and anti inflammatory diet are also very important. I have spondylitis ankolising arthritis and have taken this approach. As a result, I'm able to keep off the drugs. I'm not perfect, but can maintain a decent standard of living without pharmaceuticals. Not saying it will work for everyone, may require a mixed approach for more severe cases 🤷‍♀️.

I enjoyed so much your attitude-- very uplifting-- but actually I'm as confused as I was when you began your talk tho I'm sure that's my problem. I have osteoarthritis in the knuckle of my fingers right before the nail and it's on both hands. IT happened a few years ago and the doctors just say there's NO cause & there's NO cure. IT just happens especially as you age and I was in my sixties. WHAT confuses me so much all the time is that the speaker jumped between rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and I really think they should have two different names and not call them BOTH arthritis. Osteoarthritis is NOT an auto immune disease and although they don't know the cause or cure of my osteoarthritis, so it may seem just as mysterious to doctors as rheumatoid, I just don't think they should be lumped together.
For some reason I'm having less stiffness & less pain in my hands and I didn't even realize it til a few weeks ago and I have no idea why. I wish I knew why because I would carry on doing what I need to do yet I didn't change my diet or my activities and and still the pain lessened greatly as well as the stiffness.
I almost forget I've got it unless i look at the hands wherein the last finger joint is deformed. IN all events, thanks but I do not see why the two are lumped together as osteo is not an autoimmune disease!

Look up healing scriptures or maybe all the Bible is healing I don't know. There are times me or my family didn't get healing until I tithed you can try that too just never stop tithing.

Doctors have been no help, trying to push dangerous surgeries and meds on me that i absolutely refuse. . Am starting my 6th month in physical therapy which has helped minimally. Wish i could offer some helpful advice but can't .. can only offer condolences and the comfort of knowing you are NOT ALONE.

Medications for inflammatory arthritis are aimed at controlling inflammation and minimizing disease activity to help prevent joint damage. These can be quite complex, so you are encouraged to ask for in-depth explanations from your health-care team - including pharmacists, who are an excellent source of information. Sandra... please understand that most people sufferring from RA have tried allergy/food sensitivity elimination diets. Personally it did reduce some of my inflammation and my digestion is much better. However not a "cure" and that is true for alot of people and its a bit insulting to assume that because we still need traditional medications that we havent tried .... "everything else" as well. Next time try stating it as "this is what worked for me"....

I started juicing green vegetables, fruits and followed vegan diet (no meat or any animal products) for 4 months. The pain subsided, I also have been taking probiotics and digestive enzymes. Rheumatoid arthritis starts with leaky gut and candida. I’m off medication, walking, have no disfigurements. It still hurts but it’s manageable.

Inflammatory arthritis includes a group of conditions whereby the body’s defense system begins to attack the tissues of joints instead of germs, viruses and other foreign substances. This can result in stiffness, pain and joint damage. As a result of this damage, some of the joints may gradually change shape and deformities can develop. Once a joint is damaged, the damage cannot be reversed. The most common forms of inflammatory arthritis are: rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis. Be sure to visit our website for more information, developed by our experts: arthritis.ca/about-arthritis/arthritis-types-(a-z)/types/inflammatory-arthritis

I've had 5 head injuries from hitting head on car window..can't sleep from pain on lying down..woke me up.. Now I slept at nite w/o pain. Also made a rub with essential oil to place in hips. Took 2 months..I was in severe pain from going up and down stairs to basement. Not as much pain as in beginning..still using with methotrexate..hydroxycloriquin. and 15 Prednisone. I do not want more meds. Also take many vitamins and massage therapy.

Moving - even just doing simple exercises while seated - gets our heartrate up, gets blood flowing and lubricates joints that could be sore from arthritis. Remember to pace yourself, take breaks as needed and modify the task or position if it causes pain.
