By far the best video on the topic that I have seen. You are such a good speaker. Entertaining, funny and simply put. I totally understand the difference now. Thank you!!

Thank you. This was soooo helpful in understanding what’s going on with me. And to pinpoint it better. I haven’t been officially diagnosed with RA but my numbers were up and I have an appointment with a rheumatologist. I have been diagnosed with OA years ago. But it’s been approximately a year of so many new and worsening pains. Then several months ago. I almost couldn’t even move. Like it hit me like a ton of bricks. Then after not much movement for that time period. My heart weakened. And I’m slowly working to strengthen it. Because of that my resting heart rate was at 100 or above. Thank you again

Was told I have ra. Sent to specialist. He looked down his nose at me and asked why do you think you have ra. I said well my Dr said it showed up in blood test. Specialist said it was false positive. But wait I'm googling and I have symptoms of both of OA and RA. Even my ankles cause me to fall. My knuckles are so huge and at times turn purple. Fingers are drawing up and crooked. One my Dr stated (While looking at x-ray)that he didn't know why my neck pain is not more severe.

So with the first Dr telling me my blood work came back as RA and other Dr saying false positive, is it possible I have both? I have symptoms of both.

This is misleading because you can have inflammatory osteoarthritis which can be autoimmune without RA. OA is not this simple.

Yes... I have Erosive Arthritis in my hands and feet..
All inflammatory blood work is negative, xrays revealed that the joints below the tips of my fingers and toes, that the joints are serated..
      Horrible pain along with swelling..
I also have Congenital Hypothyroidism and Hashimotos with a non-functioning Thyroid Gland..
      This is definitely not osteoarthritis.

Both hands painful and crippling. Both hands have huge knuckles. Sometimes turn purple. Both knees and feet. Yet hate orthopedic doctor said OA.

Get blood tests, the doctors can see inflammation levels in your bloodstream. That's how I got diagnosed.
