This is the difference between a hobbyist and a true craftsman. You sir, are a true craftsman. Awesome work!
Wow, thanks!
Lance is very patient and caring and listens to your needs. He get's the job done!
Thanks. Where do I send the check? Just kidding.
Whatever they paid worth every penny extremely clean.
Thanks 🙏
Incredible work. If it sounds half as good as it looks that's outstanding.
Glad you like it!
This has to be one of the most clean and complete installs I've ever seen done. Great attention to details
Thanks 🙏
Super clean install... I love it! You really cannot say enough about the neatness of the wiring. Just an amazing install job with great attention to detail.
Thanks 🙏
Thanks for making this video this is just for me
No problem
I wish if you lived in Colorado i would love to pay you to do mine. outstanding job. no corners cut
Thanks.
Came out sick.
Appreciate the comment.
Nice work! Would have liked to have seen more detail of the box though.
Next time.
Looks great
Thanks
Damn....i wish i could hire you for my install
You can, if you want to bring it to the shop in Huntington Beach California.
Great video! Is there any concerns with the placement of the amps behind the back seat overheating? I had mentioned this setup to an audio installer and the said there wasn’t enough room for the amps to be behind the backseat and that it could possibly overheat.
I’ve done several systems is those trucks and haven’t had any issue yet. What amps are you plan on using?
Does your have Bose?
Just curious what would something like this run me in a 24 Ford Maverick with dual shallow mount 10 inch subs under the rear seats
I best way to get price is email me or message me on my website.

Haven't looked through all your videos yet but would love to see what you can do with a 2023 Suburban with the Bose system. I really am not a fan of the Bose system and want to upgrade Asap. Know anyone is South Florida you would recommend!?
I would have asked a couple of friends to be honest.
You did a great job sir, how much did the complete install cost, Including the equipment ?
You can email me or go to my website to contact me for pricing. You can also DM me on instagram.

This is a great setup. How much does something like this cost? I have a 2023 High Country.
You can email me or DM me on instagram for pricing.
Curious as to why you ran wire underneath the truck. Also can a 3 way hertz system fit in the front doors. I have the '24 silverado 1500 ltz.
I was able to locate a stop on the firewall to make 2 4 gauge runs. It was the safe play.
You can do a 3 way on the 1500 if your will to make a new whole somewhere. The 2500 GMC truck does have a 3 way factory option, so if you can get the GMC A pillar it would look factory.
I have a 2024 Sierra 2500 without the bose. I want to do 2 jl 12tw3 with vx10005i. On another date, I'll do c3-650 in the 4 doors. Would i need to use a fix 86 or something else like that to make it work? Will the factory speakers work with the vx1000, or should I use a mono for the subs and get a 2nd amp for the c3-650 when i do the door speaker upgrade? How would my system sound?
1: There are a lot of ways to correct the signal of the Sierra's audio system. The Fix 86 is one or you can use most DSP amps and do it.
2: The factory speakers would be challenged if you upgrade the power from the factory. I wouldn't recommend it.
3: I would recommend at least 2 amps to achieve a good out come. Hopefully one will be a DSP amp.
4: I'm the system will be pretty good. It generally comes down to the DSP tuner.
Good Luck..
@lancesautovlog yeah, the vx is a dsp. I won't be doing the door speakers for a while, so I'll do the vx10001i, which is 1000 rms. Would that be too powerful for the tw3?
@@GMCB-pu8pk actually that’s to much power for those woofers.
Did you tap off of the bose amp? Or did you bypass it? What kind of harness did you use? I would have never bought this truck if I would have know about the issues with trying to work around the Bose system...
Same I got mine as well looking forward to upgrade was told I can only do subs
I have a 24 also with the Bose and would like to know what you used.
So I used a Axxess interface. Metra electronics makes them. The interface works best with an Android style tablet or phone to set it up. It also has harnesses in the box, so there is no cutting it tapping into the factory harnesses.
There will be a number of other brands released an interface soon(hopefully).
@@lancesautovlog my audio man said the sound changes with that have you issues over time he told me that i would need this ZEN-AVB-GM but they stopped making them.
Well you can wait tell something else comes out or maybe you can ask him for another solution.
Hello, I just upgraded my 2024 Chevrolet 2500 with Bose and used a Fix 86 with a VX800/8i Amp. I used a loopback harness with Audio control LCD-60s to generate load. Speakers work but I am getting some distortion in the higher frequencies and when on a bluetooth call the OEM amp mutes after about 2-3 min. I am assuming the 60 ohm load resistors are the wrong value but I have tried everything to get it right and still the same issue. I have ran it down to as low as 12 ohm per channel but amp still mutes during bluetooth calls. Have you ever upgraded the factory speakers on this model truck and if so how did you get around this?
I’ve only done it 2 ways. I’ve used a Audison DSP amp and it has it own load resistors feature and I’ve also used the Axxess part. It’s a preamp with built in DSP.
@@lancesautovlogbluetooth and everything worked? Do you know what the load was? I have tried 20,000 ohms 10,000 ohms, 80 ohms, 40 ohms, 20 ohms, 12 ohms. I get different issues with each but I almost always get minor distortion at high frequencies and OEM amp mutes bluetooth audio after about 2-3 min. I even went to the dealer and swapped out the OEM amp to take that out of the equation. driving me crazy. thanks for any help
I would get 2 or 3 of these. It will figure it out for you.

@@lancesautovlog Thanks for the help. I ended up ordering the Axxess AXDSPX-ETH1 kit. I'm reading that even if I do get it working the signal from Bose will always be trash. It doesn't clearly state it is compatible on Crutchfield but people in the reviews state it is for a 2024 Chev 2500. I'll let you know what happens. thanks a lot for the help!
@@aglmechanicaltips that’s the unit I used. It works best when using an Android phone or tablet.
where are located, I am in Long Beach....not to far i dont think
I’m in Huntington Beach
Yes
And no load resistors required when you use that part ?
@@rgillan67 no. The initial replaces the OEM amp. It does require an Android phone or tablet to set it up.
Audison Virtuoso or Helix Ultra and why?
Both are awesome. The only difference is the controller options.
What tweeters did you use?
They are Morel.
what's something like that cost roughly?
You can DM me on instagram or email me for pricing.
💯
Thanks
Looks expensiveeeee…
Depends on what you consider expensive.
@@lancesautovlog True…how much was just the sound dampening cost (parts, labor) not the speakers…
Doors only or the entire truck?
