beautiful symphony, but mediocre execution, sounds diffuse compared to Vienna Philharmonic, Concertgebouw Orches, Staatskapelle Dresden, Bamberger Symphoniker etc. etc.. that is not the sound Bruckner deserves.
I agree. In vienna there is such thing as the culture of sound. Its more about finding a right sound instead of playing black dots.
