In today's wow classic video we are back in ZG and we have officially optimized our powerleveling / gold farm / rep farm route! We can kill 62 mobs every 15 minute reset yielding 140k xp per hour potentially for the boostees and over 400 gold per hour for the mages! This skyrockets this farm to the best potential gold farm right now. Prices and gold farm yields will be slightly server contingent, but I don't see this going below 300 gold per hour as long as you have demand on your mage.
The idea is to kill 8 crocolisk packs at once alongside the tigers. Using your mage, you aoe farm them on the bridge utilizing a safe spot so that you never get hit. After that pull you can go ahead and pull an additional 8-13 mobs leading to a total of roughly 62 mobs per run and each run taking 15 minutes. The experience per hour will be much higher with less people in the group, but is still an incredible farm with four boostees.

There is a way to pull snakes + panthers as well after you pull the tigers. I don't recommend the panthers as their HP is really high, but the snakes are nice. I stack some nature resist gear to do it and I don't kill em on the bridge to avoid getting stung by the snakes. The lip portion becomes a lot harder tho, may make a video showing it one day.

Is there some sort of issue with this jump for Gnomes? Lots of times I get on the rope and the mobs will still run towards me regardless. Any idea why this is happening ?

this is awesome! i grinded ZG for a bit with the COC method, but i just hated how rng it was with the resists on both the cone and frost nova... so many random deaths.... but this i've already done 5 times in a row with no issues, love it! Watched other videos too but i find your route to be the most optimal for me :)

There's a patrol of two trolls at the start, that can really ruin your day if they're close to the area of the Snake boss and you're trying to reset on the root. Just make sure you don't start making your way there until those 2 are closer towards the entrance portal.

Lol my warrior is 54 and since it's AV weekend I was gonna do that grind but now that I've seen this I think I'll put my mage to work and finish my warrior off. I end up missing out in more loot not being 60 to get into ZG pugs than what the AV rep items can offer! Great video.

15:35 hey mate, sometimes when i do this jump right here, mobs dont actually re-aggro and try to hit me from below, any idea how can i fix that? it usually end me with panicking and falling to the water
Hey Arlaeus, thanks a lot for this video. I am using it to learn the pull myself but am having a lot of trouble on one part in particular. Right after the final slow fall on your mount, you face pull the pack around the corner, run around the vine and then hug the wall as you face pull the next pack. When I pull that final pack as I run along the wall, I get hit like 60-70% of the time and half of those times I get dazed and dismounted. I don't know why sometimes I take a hit, and other times I don't right there.
did you figure it out ? i have this exact problem.
@@nutna2814 Its been a while but I think the issue was that when I hugged the wall, it was presenting my back to the crocs and so I had a high chance of getting dazed. If I quickly hugged the wall and then just ran straight along it, the number of times I got dazed went down significantly. Also I kinda just figured out how to deal with it if I did get dazed - Frost Nova would usually give me enough time to separate and re-shield before getting to the tree root to blink through.
@@TheBfree14 thank you for the answer, after alot of corpse runs i figured out another path that let me keep the shield which made it alot more consistent.
yoo arlaeus another great vid. Ive finally managed to get the pull down, but sometimes the mobs will glitch up on the hakkar temple (right after you blink through the tree) which might pull the berserke near the stairs. Do you have any tips on how to avoid that? :)
Ditto - any idea what triggers the berserker to pull?
@@djt3stafy some mobs decide to cut corners and climb the temple instead of following your path after the root blink. The berserker sometimes just so happens to be on their way and thus they just pull him by passing through him.
The solution is to:
1 - actually really wait and try to group up both tigers and crocs before your first long-slowfall jump.
2 - wait for the crocs and tigers at the first corner of the temple you jump towards at the beginning. 4:44 timestamp for the spot where you should wait, and then try to pull the consecutive pack as late as possible.
This way when you blink the root, the mobs will not have any reason to "cut corners" to follow you
@@djt3stafy think ive figured it out. after you blink through the tree. hug the right cliff and run out of the tree, then turn around and wait for the mobs to run around the corner in front of the tree.

Another great video! You mentioned that you would say why you don't grab one group of crocs, but I don't believe you ended up covering that. Can you clarify please? I'm thinking its either the added time to the run for one pack (since youre grabbing the mistresses) or most likely due to the chance of running into the zerger/snake pats.
Maybe I missed it but why didn’t you pull that one pack of crocs? Reason I ask is because at 5:04, with a little jumping skill, you can stay mounted and still have time on the noggen feather to jump to the pack of crocs you didn’t pull then run to the top I’m of the hill and dismount/slow fall to the tree at 5:04 and do the the last couple croc pulls.
This is the exact route I've been using to boost all week but you actually dont need to stay mounted. The biggest downfall with adding in that pack is the fact that you can have that patting zerker directly on the road with no way to get around him. If you manage to enter a fresh reset and start your run very fast you will always make it there where the patting zerker is in a safe place however if you die you wont know where on the path he is unless you start to memorize timings. Adding to this, you dont need to run your carries to the rock on the waterfall. There is a safe spot on the wall right at the entrance (before the pack he pulls to reset) that will give your group full xp. With this you can enter a fresh reset, start your route right away knowing exactly where the pat is going to be and your carries can safely get to the spot on their own. This leads to extremely fast clears when done clean ~9-10 minutes. I didn't know about the mistress pull. I'll be adding this to my carries and upping the price by 5g, this will stop us from getting locked out and add lots of extra xp at the same time!
@@teemac1837 Im also doing this but actually have ran into the pat (both the berserker but also the snakes) have you done it alot? Im guessing this was his point that he didnt mention. It's Increadibly frustrating even though it's salvageble sometimes.
@@fladium I've done the run literally hundreds of times now, I've made over 10k boosting. The best advice I can give you is simply dont wait around after a fresh reset. When anyone first zones in the pats will start to move, they start at the exact same position everytime. For example I wont convert the party to a raid until I'm at the entrance, the boosties can wait outside until I'm there, either alive or as a ghost.
Also if you do run into the pat up top there is a second small ledge you can jump to which will let you get a second jump down, it's a small area and its tight with a zerker on your ass but it's an option. Sometimes he just happens to be right in your face and there's just nothing you can do.
I suggest if you die early on a fresh reset give it another try, if you hit the pat simply reduce the run to a 10 pack pull instead of the full 11 (skip that one) 90% of boosties wont notice ot simply wont care, if they make a stink explain it wouldn't be possible without another death wasting more time or simply play dumb and say a couple must have reset or blame bad rng on smaller pack sizes, worse case refund a portion of the gold paid but I've literally never ran into this problem. Simply explain how the run works and the rng factor if you dont have the timing down.

Great Video like always. Thanks man ! - My Problem ist the jump on the bridge. The way to reach it is not a big thing for me anymore, but till now, i did not killed any of the crocs/tigers. I always fall from the rope because the mops will not turn back. I am male/undead. I know the solution is to make 1-2 steps back, but its always hard for me :)

I recommend not thinking too much about "1-2" steps etc if you're undead. I did at first but got stressed out and messed it up all the time. Eventually learned to jump just by gut feeling and its a lot more useful. I jump diagonally and face first.
Do you use rank 1 frost nova or max rank? Does it matter?
I get dazed at 4:55 pretty much every time. If you hug the wall is it meant to stop this from happening??

Found a faster route so you still have shields at this point, stops you from being dazed, if you do get dazed, just frsot nova what you can blink away and continue.

@@Veslanjejezivot If you knew how many people running this, you would see how silly your comment is. I have seen a lot of mages posting farming guides that are doing elements in their runs that are exactly the same as I have done for a while. This is how the pull meta progresses though. They take pieces from others and combining them into better pulls, literally the same way as scientific research is working. He's usually quite good at crediting people that he gets tips and advices from, but it's ridiculous to think that he doesn't come up with a lot of the things himself.

Hi, sometimes the packs, or half of them are going on the Hakkar's platfrorm and pulling berserker or son of hakkar in some cases, any idea how to avoid that ? im doing everything correctly and im not going too far to the left (before the bridge). dont know why this is happening, any idea ?! can you help me please ?
Hey Arlaeus, thanks for the all of the great content. I am curious what you think the best solo mage grind to learn is currently vs the difficulty of it and gear requirements? I don't have anywhere near as much mana as you do (5800) on your ZG videos and I am able to fly across water and pull pack 1+2 of crocs and then 3+4 croc packs by the son of hakkar, but I have to do them separately and wait for my evocation to come back up. Initially the coins and bijous were selling 1-3g per and 10-14g per respectively but they are now selling for less than 50s and less than 5g on my server.
I just got herbing to 300 with hopes of getting a blood scythe which I still haven't gotten one yet but I have only checked 5-6 hoodoo piles so far. I have primarily been doing ZF GY for money since 42 until now and it's consistently pretty decent around 50g/hour. That being said, I watched your mara vs zf video and it seemed if you're selling boosts that mara is better and because of more potential of epic drops. However, I would like to be able to do something like ZF where I'm not relying on running other players through an instance but still making pretty decent money. Do you think it's worth learning mara even if you're not boosting other players just for the epic drop potential (I'll need to get the scepter of celebras)?
I also looked at DM E Lasher runs which seemed to be about as good as ZF gold wise and is reliant on using AH for herbs. I watched your video on BRD farming as well which seemed ok but it reliant on HOJ and SGC. What would you recommend for fairly fresh level 60s right now for gold with the considerations of not relying on boosting other players for primary gold source?
One other note worth mentioning. The reason I want gold is to be able to boost a warrior (I hate leveling) to 60 and buy the toon an epic mount.
I would recommend ZF or DM E! Herbs are going to be very useful (especially dreamfoil) once AQ comes out

I have had some degree of sucess with this, but the part where you run pas the crocs strafing against the wall only avoids the crocs some of the time for me, half the time i'm getting hit and dismounted which sometimes kills me. don't really feel i can start selling these runs when sucess is entirely depaants on if i get dazed or not. is there any way to avoid those crocs 100% of the time?
Can you boost a level 50 character? I tried with a friend and he seems to be pulling mobs while on the middle part of the waterfall.
Never mind, figured it out after a few deaths. All the boostees must wait until you have fully cleared the pack so that they stay out of combat. Now I've been seemingly losing the tigers periodically after i blink across the tree. i can't think of a good place to let them catch up before that as i feel i need to have my shield intact. i find that i often tend to keep the tigers if i get dazed / dismounted as it allows them to catch up.

I occasionally run into a problem with the fish attacking me from below the bridge. I aggro him when i get into the water before i blink under the tree or after i jump into the water with slow fall. either way it aggros the fish. Do i always have to kite a little bit the mobs before i go to the bridge? it's so risky
If your character uses flint and firewood. Would they get rested xp?
Excellent video! The pull is amazing, I only have one issue that half way trough the kill phase the mobs sometimes ignores that Im on the rope and kill me straight from the bridge. Happens almost every run when I include the tigers

Noggenfogger yes, and 100% isn't necessary but very helpful!
Are there any gear/mana reqs? I'm working on pre raid bis not sure if I'll be able to do this. Also do we need Epic mount? Thanks!
Epic mount yes, gear not really. I would recommend 2.5k hp & 6k mana. Practice is the key to success. U will die often the first 10-20 runs, but then it will be a no brainer.

@Arlaeus I've been trying to get this pull done for 6 hours today, eventually I managed to get them to 50% health... Then, for some reason, 3 crocs decided to don't even give a damn of the fact that I was up on this rope and still came to bite me down! Note that the other mobs were following the intended path... I'm done with this, unless you give me a clue! I'm a female human, if ever it helps! Thnaks in advance.

sometimes the 2nd patting berserker is really close to the tiger area as you are pulling them with the first group of crocs running after you. you cant really run in circles there to wait for him to pat back, how do you jump to get to the peninsula?
Great vid, but how do you enter the dungeon? Do you convert to party inside or stay as raidgroup when boosting people?
The basic idea is you need to be in a raid group with >1 ppl. Luckily you can ask any random stranger to invite you, then switch to an alt (any level), have that one invited as well, then stranger can make you leader and leave the group. You convert to a raid group and log off (without leaving the group) and log back into your farming character. Presto!

I've got a question about bis gear for this farm. I know that it's recommended to have as much hp/mana as possible for aoe farms, but since you can fish for clearcasts, and let's say you perfectly know how to pull so you don't need that much hp(you've got 2 shields/ice blocks/lib anyway), is it then better to invest into SP as well?
My max hp/mana gear has like 3650 hp/7300 mana but only like 350 sp, i could boost sp by 100 if i drop down on like 300hp/400 mana or something, is it worth the sp increase?
There's a gnome who does it naked, so I doubt it matters if you got the mechanics down

I'll answer for him. 1 - you have to waste a feather later on to jump off a cliff. 2 - you risk dying to that berserker which he ended up waiting for when he went for mistress pack. 3 - there is a disgusting root to jump over, which he does at 15:45. Unless you do it in at most 3 attempts, u will die. All of this for just 1 extra pack.

Is it possible to start this farm as a 57 mage? I'm not getting as good of a return in DM:N/E as your other video with your 59 mage, and the ZG items sell for quite a lot still on my server.
Does it matter if you stay in raid or convert back to party? Is raid exp penalty a thing in classic?
Hey ogh, what time do u need to kill the crocs/tigers for the patrols to lnie up perfectly with the Atal/ai mistresses? getting aroudn 10min kills and the patrols are in the way so cant get past them
You have to wait up to around 2 minutes for the pats. I'm not sure if the patting on the berserker is always the same.
I don't get why one croc breaks from pack always and attacks me and even if i move back on rope it still goes on me, I've failed 5 runs now with them at 34%ish because of one croc... whats happening? jumping too late?
What farm would you recommend for a 2 set Tier 2 mage? 3-set bonus T1 etc. OK geared but not great :p

Do you need a 100% mount to achieve this? I've done it on my 60% and notice you can't make half the jumps across the water. Especially the one after the tiger pack. Maybe I'm jumping off in the wrong areas but I don't think so. Can you confirm if a 100% mount is needed?
No its not, you can do full runs with 60% mount
@Arlaeus sometimes i face 2 patrols ( berserker infront of tiget boss, be side tigers and sons of hakkar at the last pack ) when i know that they are there?
How do you dodge the aggro of the Son of hakkar Pack that is just at the corner after le LIP potion when you go back to the bridge ?
For me if it is there it's a 100% aggro & run killer ... :'(
I'm curious, 400g per hour sounds like insane amount of gold - does it come from selling the loot and/or skinning and gathering herbs, or it's more about boosting other people?
This is more from boosting. On my server you can sell TRIO runs for 20g/person. That's 60g / run (3 people) and if you can do about 5 in an hour that is 300g/hour raw gold. And that isn't including the loot which can sell really well also.
@@bradwisebeats5158 Oh I see, thx for explanation. But isn't loot supposed to come to boosties? Like I've seen a vid of boosting Maraudon, and after the boost was concluded, the booster asked his boosties to "come loot".
@@magnuseriksson1822 It varies from booster to booster. A lot of boosters reserve the loot and sell that as well.
At 5 minutes 10 seconds you mentioned that you dont pull one of the croc packs and mentioned there is a good reason for this. Could you please explain what the reason is? thank you
Hey man so it was because they added a lot of time and then I could go get the jindo mobs, but if you use a zanza pot you aren’t losing efficiency to grab them.

thanks for the guide :). Sometimes i do add the Berserker after the "root-blink", because of the crocs and tigers running over the temple place. Not sure why it happens. Is there a trick, to not add him?

@@MrDbdr Yes, i did. After you land the slow fall, you let the first pull catch up through the water. Now you add the crocs around the corner like in Arlaeus video. From now, you need to be really quick and after you blink through the root, you need to hug the hill on your right, so the crocs can catch up.
Tl:Dr: Don't wait for the crocs, keep up your pace before the root-blink.
At the beginning I suggest that you actually swim over there manually. For 2 reasons. 1 - easier to not get hit by crocodiles and lose ur shields, 2 - your slowfall will actually last you throughout the entire pull which will save you a feather.

I tried this, and tried being as far to the right as possible on other side. While waiting for pat the pathing of the crocs causes them to aggro while I'm sitting there on shore. Do you wait in the water?
Unless you mean swimming through the river to the spot between the two first croc packs?

Install SmartLoot addon on both characters. Auto need/greed/pass on the bijous and coins. Saves a lot of time.
Setting it to Free for All also works, and without downloading an addon! wow!
Using zanza swiftness and some "trickery" where you actually dont have to dismount for blinking trough the tree (You can jump on the root over to where you jump up from the water without dismounting) Then you can easly pick up crock pack, run east jump down to other crock pack then up to were the beserker path and jump down to the tree you blink trough. Then back to normal route of pick 3 last crock pack. For me 1 run takes 5-8min, leaving me to afk for 20min for resets. And btw, Gnome here :) Also able to pull more mobs in Mara using zanza swiftness.
This is my route and you can do it even losing the mount, I clear in ~8-9 mins, I wasnt aware of the withered mechanic tho so I'll be adding that in!
i noticed that if you set the middle of the blizzard on top of the rope of the bridge it will hit everything around it without being LoS'ed, helps me to group em up quicker, but tbf i have t2 5set so it might be easier for me
If you're only using blizzard then why take iceshards/shatter? why not save the points and go for arcane meditation?
i do the same as you do but altar mobs means gurubashi and serpents get pulled sometimes. what to do? crocs and tigers sometimes take strange path they pull those altar mobs. 5:15

Is there a way to somehow avoid the Gurubashi Beserker that is patting when you jump across the water near the bridge before heading back around? That sucker is always there =(
Keep missing the jump after misstress, any tips? do you have to dismount to do it?
nope but if you're too short on the jump try enchantting your gloves with the mount speed!
Is mara or zg better for 50-52?
Sometimes after you blink through the tree and run up the hill some mobs seems to go to the right (from viewing point) and aggroing the zerker standing on the temple platform. Is there some way to avoid this? Can't seem to find any pattern when it happens and not.
The mobs will only aggro the bers if you dont dismount before you go into the water (trust me you have a lot of time) after the blink hold on the right and everything should be fine
Can you explaine what your doing at 5:05.. looks like your blinking through a root?? how do u get past that part exactly
If you swim directly against the root of the tree you can blink through it. Doesn't have to be the root though. You can also blink through the tree itself if you hug it.
on the bridge, sometimes the mobs just keep coming after me and no matter what i do they wont turn around. this is even on the initial jump where i jump on after i do the final pull. Why is this and how can i stop it (ive tried walking backwards while on the rail)
you been refering to "ultimate" looting method in on of your previus vids. Scaned some and didnt find it. Could you show direction ?
When I blink through the tree and wait for them, a part of the pull always walks right of the tree, meaning on the temple, sometimes pulling the beserker. How exactly do I avoid that. Where exactly do I have to wait longer? Thanks in advance :)
yeh you have to wait for them to catch up before you jump over to the crocs
At the bridge, some of the mobs keep going to me sometimes when I jump on the rope. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong please help to explain what is going wrong. They are not even close to me.

Awesome run and guide, wish my (female undead sadly) mage was actually leveled up. So it appears you skipped 2 packs of crocs or so so I wonder how long it will be for an even better version pulling those. If you want to pull the crocs at the base of the waterfall I did a test on my priest and I was able to use noggen for slowfall, make the jump from voodoo area back to bridge then curve around the tree to the ledge to the south and jump to the crocs at the base of the waterfall. I forget if i got instantly dismounted and killed cuz I think I only tried once since I was burned out but if u hug the right you should be able to aggro voodoo, jump to bridge, jump down to the crocs aggro them, ride up the hill again and then jump back to the bridge to kill both packs. If you evade out the ones that dont suicide this may not actually work well so maybe this is a dagger only (or 2 man) strat. Also be advised theres a high chance that the dangers will be below you and hit you in the air, some carful waiting in your path is prob needed but it might group them up some. Sorry I didnt test with a pull but I dont even have a mage. In theory one could start with this pull, but that would be a total reroute (that i expect somebody will do and it will prob be wild).
I think I only skipped one, but there's a pull you can use which it sounds like you mentioned! Issue is that it is dangerous and adds 2 minutes to the run, so I prefer to use that time to go get the jindo mobs!
@@arlaeus9491 Ya just this morning I saw a guide of a similar route that took a detour to get that extra pack. it was a noticable amount of time for 1 more pack of crocs vs 4 packs of jindos so your method is probably better overall but he did grab the jindos after the pull like you did. Not sure if he got everything else, didnt pay that much attention. its wild how many slightly diff routes there are here.
You could prob do a very easy 5-6 pack pull by just starting at the southern wall of the temple and pulling the packs across the river to the east and chain pulling on your way back to the kill spot. you need to drop down quick enough that they dont evade and if you want a 6th you can prob grab the pack to the south. Might be good for beginners.
so on your last jump you cast slowfall not from nogginfogger? should probably include that in your step by step men

Figured it out myself for all those with the same issue, don’t go too fast let the crocs/tigers get closer to you and they won’t path weird over the temple

I don't get why leveling 1 alt would bring more xp than 4. What about the xp bonus group? In your Power leveling 1-60 recap video you said "Run 4 people rather than 5". But do you mean that running one single person would have been more beneficial?
I asked him the same question on that video, didn't get a response. But from what info he provided in this video, you get more exp the less people in the group, so to maximize exp/hour, 1 boostie is the best.
it doesn't matter what run you do, anyone alone will always get more xp. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about. The way group bonus is calculated is, the xp is distributed evenly among everyone ... which means if a mob gives 100 xp to 1 person alone, it is now giving 25 xp to each person if there is 4 ppl. The group bonus adds to that per person to help even it out but the 1 person solo is ALWAYS gonna get more xp.
This was true for me when I was doin SM runs. Anyone running alone got way more xp by themselves than with a group.
I like that your WA is blue for IB/MS. Is there any info on how to change this, as the download you linked creates the bars as white.
I liked the video but the only issue is how you blink through the tree near the bridge you never showed how to and where it is safe to do it because every time I have tried to blink through it doesn't blink through.
As a female human I can hit the jump anout 1/4 times...is there any elixir or food buff that would help me? I have tried elixir of giant growth, firewater, and savory delight

Now the question is, as a gnome I occasionally come across a situation where mobs still run through the bridge (sometimes hits me straight away) when I stand on the rope at the first baluster in the middle of the bridge shown in the video. Would you be able to have some time to have a look at it?
I found a way to cope with it, which is when you stand on the rope and mobs still come to you, you just slightly move a bit on the rope and mobs will turn around running back towards the cliff.
Crazy idea here: Do you think it could be possible to pull snake packs if your character reach 300+ nature resistanc?

So i have been trying this start and the first LOS reset dose not work on the snakes that Patrol past that root, They agro on me and have killed me many times.
i often wonder who was the original person who figured out these kinds of things, like what root to jump on to reset mobs, what routes to take to maximize xp and getting just the right of npcs, just crazy that people figured this out.
Chinese Goldfarmers did this shit back in 2005 my guy. They were ahead of their times and had advanced PCS that suppored this.
