This video was incredibly helpful. I just completed it successfully on my level 41 mage. I would never have pulled it off without this video, but here are a few additional comments that I discovered on my (many) unsuccessful attempts before I got it right. At 3:00 - be sure you stick to the left side of the wall so you don't aggro the mobs below and DIE. At 5:20 - stick to the right side near the wall so you don't aggro additional mobs and DIE. At 5:25 - run to the right side of the boxes so you don't aggro additional mobs and DIE. Also, run up the right side of the hill. The center is too steep to climb, and you will DIE. At 5:55 - remember the urn to the right is a reset spot, so jump up on it if you are low on health/mana so you don't DIE. At 7:25 - stay near the wall as you begin opening the second set of graves so you don't aggro the ones already active and DIE. And finally, if this is your first dungeon farm, expect to fail and DIE over and over. You will likely need a stockpile of invisibility potions to burn through while you are learning the mechanics. But man is it satisfying when it all comes together. Thanks again to Arlaeus for the excellent information.

For anyone new to this, one of the most important things is (I don't know if it was mentioned in the video, it probably was!) getting a minor speed enchantment on whatever boots you get/have, it makes the jumping and running a ton easier.
One hint for beginners: 8:32 Arlaeus says that every time you interact with the boss, one grave gets opened, so what you can do to get the remaining graves if you missed some while running and opening them, is jumping up the wall next to the boss, wand him and immediately take a step back and use line of sight to drop aggro. Rinse and repeat until he opened all the remaining graves. you can also use this technique "stand" mobs that you struggle pulling when going for the kill nearby the boss. Also note that you can pull the heroes independently from the zombies, so if you frostbolt a zul farrak hero standing nearby the boss, only the heroes will attack you and you can pull the zombies after killing the zombies and regenerating. This is useful in the beginning when you are not used to the different run-speeds and different health levels yet. You can also solo the boss at around (level 46/ 47) by standing one the wall left of him, frostbolting and getting out of sight while he is casting. once he stops casting, you have to immediately move back into sight, cast another frostbolt-fireblast and get back out of sight. rinse and repeat until he is down. It certainly will get a bit frustrating in the beginning since the boss resets if your timing of getting back into sight is off but ultimately it is worth it since over time you get his staff and gloves which is a huuuge boost for doing these pulls. Things are much easier when using mp5 buff-food and according to others the minor speed enchant on boots (which I never used though). Gl
My mage is 44 currently and I'm trying to kill the damn boss using the strat from this video, and it's so damn frustrating! I swear I'm doing the timing perfectly haha, but he still keeps resetting (I normally get him to % health) Is this where you kill him? th-cam.com/video/yucsnZe3n94/w-d-xo.html
@@hanspetervollhorst1 That's nice of you checking in! haha. It still wasn't working for me and he kept resetting, so, instead I brought him over to the wall (where you kill all the zombies). I made a macro that used rank 1 frost bolt to quickly kill his zombie ward totem, and jumped back and forth using scorch and fireblast to deal damage to him. I found it much easier. There's no risk of reset, and I now have the staff and gloves! :D
@@rystanley4624 I hate the leveling in classic, I’m just looking forward to raiding. These grinds and boosts helped me get out of the awful leveling process for my first experience.
just hit 40 on my first mage last night, and gave this an attempt today. I managed to get to the GY and do the pull on my first try, tho not perfect, and few close calls during the pulls, and missed some graves. I managed to get at least half the graves, giving me 34k exp on my first run. I did follow this guide very carefully, and i was happy with my first attemt! Thank you so much for all the great videos you create for us
Awesome guide well put together, informative, and easy to understand. I'm currently level 22 but will be using this for sure. Thankyou very much for taking the time to put this together.
Hey man, I gave up on this months ago and recently decided to give it a shot. After revising this video, I sucessfully got my first ZF GY clear without much trouble, and I've done three straight so far. Thanks for this helpful video :)
Hi! One thing you forgot to mention is the little ledge on top of the boss that you jump onto is very important to hit, since you'll just fall into a hole (see 10:28) and have trouble getting out. And die! Thanks for the guide though, very helpful!
Awesome guide! Couple things i noticed from my own runs: The initial patrol setup is ideal for pulling as few mobs as possible. If I died and tried again, I would often run into at least one patrol where the second pot runs out, and would always end up dying. So the most efficient way i find if you die on first attempt, is just to reset and try again. Also, if Dustwraith spawns by the boss, don't panic, he is basically the same as a zombie. I did lose aggro on him when he was low on health, not sure if that was a bug or boss mechanic. But got it back quickly without any issues, just be aware that might happen
As an ally mage I level my defense at the silithid swarmer's in the Barrens. Pull 2, and they are level 20. They spawn tiny little bugs... DOZENS of them, that all hit for 1 damage. Just let them multiply into the hundreds while they tap on mana shield/Icebarrier/Iceblock. Then when you get low on mana or HP, use a rank 1 nova and kill all the tiny bugs and kill the 2 level 20s. This even works at level 60.
OMG THANK YOU!!! This worked in less than 2 mins for me. This is unbelievable! This is the link to wowhead which shows the location of these. classic.wowhead.com/npc=3252/silithid-swarmer#map
Hey Arlaeus, I just started doing this run on my mage at level 40 and after really struggling to get to the GY I came up with a slight variation on your strategy that seems to be easier for me. So as a possible alternative i would suggest. 1) Do the first (lesser) invis pot as shown in the video. 2) Do the jump up onto the wall. 3) Then instead of using the second invis pot, mana shield up, frost shield up, and run through to the second reset spot shown in the 42-54 leveling video. This is a relatively safe run, does not pull too many mobs. 4) from here you can use the second invis pot and you make it a lot further through the run before dropping invisibility. This is just what i found was more reliable for me
Nice new video :) 2 things to mention for ZG GY: 1. There is also a reset spot at the beginning on the left side (opposite where you reset, where you find the basilisk) which is a must have for trolls at low levels, might also be better as would keep you closer from the other entrance 2. when aggroing the 3rd pack of zombies, you don't need to wait for the reset, you can as a troll jump without the mount to have them not being reset and start the pull faster, without even having to annoy the boss :)
Tip: To make the first jump onto the bosses altar, what worked most consistently for me by far is running all the way into the corner, tapping backpedal once lightly, then jump and tap w after your jump.
I found that hugging the wall on the right means that you approach the corner slightly to the left of the corner (more face on to the ledge you are trying to jump on) and it is easier to jump up then.
Commenting from a TBCC view: the potions now DO share the same cooldown. So you gotta wait around 8 minutes at4:44 :( makes it quite slower to get there but oh well
Before doing any instance farming you ask someone to invite you and your alt to a group. When the run is over you log with your alt, after 2 mins the alt becomes leader, reset the dung and go again.
For those doing it in SOD P3 - don't go for either Invis pots or the wall reset. Invis pots give you only a very limited range, you end up dismounted, and, most importantly, it puts your health pot on CD. Having an extra 700-900 HP when you need it is much more useful for surviving. The wall - it's a difficult jump, and if you fail it - you die. It's MUCH easier to just keep running to the first set of boxes (second, if we count the ones that now have an invisible wall). I died many times trying to make the jump until I realized that running to the safe spot and popping a HP pot simply works.
@Daniel Deford yo, base on your current level, you can still do the zf power leveling up until 54 w/o using invi pots. use Savory Deviate Delight (can be bought from AH) or nonnenfogger if u have finished doing the quest, and find the perf reset spots behind the boxes (watch this for the box reset spots, th-cam.com/video/eBx8xOh_Qro/w-d-xo.html).
Thank you for this extremely helpful guide! I just bought a mount so i don't need the invisibility potions but the part were you pull everything and blizzard them down helped me a lot.
Hey man. I just would like to thank you so much for this video and all other ZF videos you have made. Did it on 2nd try after i stuided your videos :D Thanks alot!
A couple things should be made clear now that I've figured them out myself regarding the stats you "should" have. You've got Warchief's Blessing as an active buff. This gives an additional 300 HP, and an additional 10 MP5. Meaning, realistically/un-buffed, A level 41 mage can expect to have around 1500-1800 HP with mostly Eagle affixes, and 110-120 spirit with about 3-4 items with Owl affixes. This confused the hell out of me when I first saw the video. Additionally, my mana while casting with 123 Spirit and Mage Armor was 32.4 .
Started this today at level 40, its amazing! almost half a level per pull. 41 you notice A LOT less resists and kill time/survival feels like it went way up! Tyvm!
I had to come back to this video to just say a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing. I got my Mage to 40 yesterday, got all my stuff together, and start learning this tactic. Getting back to the GY is pretty tricky, but then this technique works perfectly to farm the xp. Loving this farm big time. Big thanks for sharing the strats with those of us who would never have thought of it.
For anyone attempting this nowadays, this method is not working anymore, Blizzard has made it so the mobs teleport to you if the pathing doesn't allow them to walk towards you
It does still work on classic. I wish Arleus made it clear that you will die a ton of times before you get the hang of it and it’s not as easy as it looks, at least to the average gamer.

thank you for the guide. I used this and managed to learn the run in a few days. I died too much at 40 and 41 getting to the GY, but at 42 I managed to do it, and completed 7 runs in one evening, going from just hit 42 to 45 in a couple of hours. I did have a few deaths
Just tried this, The invisbility potions now share a global cooldown, use one the other will go on a 10 min CD as well, Sad I just got here an brought my potions lol
One thing I don't see mentioned anywhere but I think are important. At 5:10 as you're running down the hallway, sometimes there are patrols moving up the hallway and around the fountain. These can make surviving extremely tricky and you'll really have to pull out all the stops sometimes to avoid dying, including smart nova/Cone of Cold usage, bandaging, and sometimes using a mana gem to keep mana shield up. Also,
Also a tip for beginners, since i was a complete newbie to this a few hours ago. As i tried this with a 40 mage and still had MASSIVE problems getting to gy i found it working out MUCH better to use the reset spot in the scarab room and then just run the rest of the way into gy with full health/shields. Also when you stand on the wall where you use ur 2nd invis potion mark the pat. They take much time to patrol around but try to find the right timing where they dont aggro when ur potion runs out. That ruined many runs for me. Other than that the guide is very good
I think it's a lot more safer and also quicker that at 07:35 you frost nova - blink towards the fountain to your right and jump on top of that instead. Less chance of the mobs hitting you from the side since you move away from them further. Also you can start open up the graves quicker.
9:40 at this lev you can just jump over edge to pull boss 14:00 there is better spot for blizzard, so(at higher level) you can use 2 full duration blizzards
@@clausjensen8344 on that wall. so blizzard can last full duration, you put it that way mobs go to outer part of blizzard and go back in, not like here where you put blizzard so mobs go to center of it and turn to go out
So I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong, but I get everything done correctly up until the point where I'm opening graves. I interact with the boss, then start opening them, but literally as soon as they run to the boss, they immediately aggro back to me, even if im at the farther end of the room. (the boss also leaves his little room to start casting on my in the middle of the graveyard so that could also be part of it.) I've tried hugging the walls etc, but they still immediately aggro to me and sprint to me after they run up to the boss. Can only get like the first row of graves opened before they tear through my shields. I'm a level 42 human mage.
As an update to hopefully help others: I figured out what I was doing wrong, and MAN DO I FEEL DUMB. When he finishes his first row, he gets into the safe spot behind the pots. @ 7:05. I honest to god thought he was just stopping there to explain the whole strafe thing, and that in actuality, you would continue to open graves. I know 95% of people won't be as dumb as me with this, but hopefully it can help someone.
**Update for all the would-be do'ers of this method:** Potions share a CD now. You're pretty much forced to wait the 10 mins OR You go B I G M O D E. Buff up, mana shield and ice barrier, mount up at the start, skip the pack on the right and just run down the hall. As you inevitably aggro things, try to jump forward and turn your char to face towards them as they swing at you (you wont get dazed if you get hit head on) The mobs will be slowed as you run, so you maneuver around the pack thats immediately the right of the hallway without pulling them, get up the hill and jump to the first reset spot. If you get dazed just lay down and wait for death because you cant make that jump to the reset spot without a mount, BUT thats why you try to keep up Ice Barrier as long as possible because with IB you dont get dazed. Ive pulled this off a few times at 40-44 but its difficult with the aggro ranges. Still doable tho. This allows you to immediately invis off the first spot after you drink/eat up. Good luck yall.
I LOVED your video, I started at 42, like 3500 mana or so with the arcane int buff of 22, and I saw you used invis pots but they were so expensive on my auction house I almost felt discouraged, but I bought 2 of each anyway to see if I could do it, I did it on second try (there was no third to begin with anyway) but I didn't want to go back and buy some more for such ridiculous price (1 gold each or so). I combined your strategy of killing them with another video's strategy of no usage of invis pots, only hiding behind rocks and stuff and I'm doing great at 43 (did 3 successful runs so far). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
Thank you for this guide, I was able to do it consistently within 2-3 tries. I found you can even skip the first invis pot and just reset the mobs on the first highground.
Thanks. I set up from last video, failed at 42, got up to 44 and tried again. Still had problems with the run (including falling off on that last turn above the boss, and getting STUCK!). Haven't tried again since then. Now I'll try again, using the new method. Then review the old video. Your videos offer so many details and tips. Very nice.
What I learned about the first jump with the boss, is to jump on top of the square stone, if not I got stuck in between them and possibly ruin my pull. And on the 2nd turn you jump then move, not move while jumping. So just jump, then push W
Excellent video! How are you getting MP5 (Casting): to 109+ Mine is 79.22 with 3 MP5 items and 170 MP5 spirit. Im also using Mage Armor and Arcane Meditation at 15%.
You don't have to use the first invisibility potion showed. Just use your mount and run to the wall where you jump up using your mount shown in the video at 3:56. There're also 2 patrols who go back and forth from the room where he uses the second invisibility potion and the middle room where the potion runs out. I found it useful to wait for them to get into the first room, so there's no chance that they stand by the second shadowcaster, so you don't have to use a nova there, but you can save the nova for the mobs by the entrance to the next room. There're also 2 pots on the screen all the way to the right in 5:54 that you can hide behind if you enter from the right and use as a safe spot, where you can also mount up.
thanks a lot for your content! I managed to make the run with lvl40 without any pots, just using the right reset spots, have 200 defense level and enough time for the multiple trys. I recommend that once you make it to the graveyard: Go first up and just practice the route to the wall and also the jumps on the wall before you pull anything. Helps a lot when you're doing it the first time. Also jumping on the wall at the beginning to group the mobs together ist very important. I forgot it the first time and they catched me.. currently lvl 44 and each run get's easier and makes more fun! looking forward to mara nd ZG
thank you for the video...is there a good way to reset the instance after completing the graveyard? I've just been hearthing or dying back...but theres gotta be a better way that im missing
Kevin B I found from another video. You can invite someone, make them party leader and you log out. They will reset the instance and when you log back in you’ll be at the beginning of a fresh instance. Works great if you have multiple accounts
I'm not sure if you have gone over this, but if you fall down when jumping, there's actually a reset spot down there. I just found it on accident. It's between one of the cubes and the pillar.
Nice one again, I had a suspicion one could get in earlier. But dude, you don't have to just Blizzard them in that sweet-spot to the right. As soon as you jump to the left ledge, you can pop two more R1 or Rwhatever Blizzards. Way quicker, and it just helps getting them more stacked as you're slowing them from both sides. Other than that, keep up the good work, I'm about to venture into ZG for the first time to try my luck there... Peace all!
When you were demonstrating your talents in the talent trees, you were able to change the number of points in each box. How do you do that? I haven't seen that done before. I thought once you put in a point it was there to stay unless you paid for a complete reset of talents.
Was able to do this today on my 42 human mage on TBCC. Both of those potions share the same CD. The part for zombies works great. Though getting to the zombies doesn't quite work anymore and the jump to that second safe zone isn't easy. Had to use a different video to get to the zombies.
7:07 is it just me who can't enter this safe spot from the left side like you did? I'm a gnome mage. I was able to jump inside it from the right side from above, but now I can't get out...
thanks arlaeus it was not easy new to mage class but your videos are awsome finally done my first zf gy farm. it wasnt pretty died alot and took hours to finally get it down. ty again cant w8 to do mara and zg eventually keep up the good work .
it took me 5 hours to get my first 2-3 successful runs as a fresh, undergeared lvl 40. but I went to level 47 the same day with this farm. its incredible. also did it without invis potions - just use reset spots.
Im having fits with this. I get to the 2nd room, and theres a patrol of 3 mobs there that are not in this video. I die within seconds of getting to that block after the 2 shadow casters. Where you get hit with that one shadow bolt, I follow the exact same path as you, and get hit by 4 other mobs at the same time and die. What am i missing?
Hi, nice video :) Are the build in the end of the video better then the one you poster 31.12 19 ? WoW Classic - BEST MAGE TALENTS FOR GOLD FARMING / POWER LEVELING!
Awesome video, I found that if the invis pots are as expensive as they are now 55g a stack... you don't need to invis pot the first part just make sure you have stam gear just to get to the AoE part then switch back to normal gear also wait for ice barrier CD after using it and stand on the brazier it will reset the mobs. Also how tf do I get out when I'm done killing? is there a way to logout and be at the entrance without using the 2 account method?
Really good tutorial video, very detailed and informative. I have some game interface questions: 1. What is your camera distance setting? 2. Do you use camera smart pivot?
If you’re going to do this farm make sure u have the speed boost enchant on your boots its honestly the only way to make the wall jumps smooth i wasted a lot of time not having the enchant
Wanted to add something here that can make this run bit easier and faster. When you are pulling the graves on the rear and right side (facing the boss) as you move towards the safe spot, edge closely to the left and nova. This will actually lock all the mobs much closer together and pre stack. You can do this on the right side too by just moving towards the boss on the last grave on the left. This makes the pull much easier and quicker. Wand boss, wand a mob instead of flamestike and follow same procedure. What you will notice is, all the mobs pull more efficiently and are pre stacked in some packs and much closer together in others. This makes getting the blizzard pounding on all mobs from the start much easier and shaves about 1 minute off the timer.
you show what to do if you miss one of the wall jumps. what about the other jump? i fall on the other jump for some reason? what can you do? im dying like crazy
Arlaeus!!! I had an idea for how to potentialy get the record 1-60 even lower! Rested exp. Imagine your lvl 40 and your doing whatever it is you do to lvl at that point on your record time and you just log out till your max rested, then log back in, do a lvl and a half then log out again till your rested exp is maxed again. Probably not worth it at low lvls but sef as you fet closer to 60. It would take FOREVER, but all that matters is the /played right? Thoughts? Maybe a way to half the lvling record potentially?
thank you i finally was able to do it after 6 fails its really hard at lower levels and mana is a huge issue but the higher i got and the more experience i got in doing this it became normal
I'm finally 40 on my mage. So glad you just uploaded this! I had a 60 who promised me to get boosted from 40-42 but then he got banned after 1 day of pulling... So happy that I can continue on my own now :D
There is a way to reset if you accidentally pull the witchdoctor by jumping up onto the brazier you can see at 13:19 and even up on top of the pillar, they can't hit you and if you're out of sight, all the mobs reset and you can go restart the pull.

@@rystanley4624 I hate the leveling in classic, I’m just looking forward to raiding. These grinds and boosts helped me get out of the awful leveling process for my first experience.
@@scurity8698 what’s your problem?
just hit 40 on my first mage last night, and gave this an attempt today.
So glad I found you channel man!
I started leveling a mage few weeks ago and all these guides has made it soooo much easier.
The safe spot was a big issue for me when i started this if you run at the wall stop then jump while touching the wall you wont miss the jump once!
Really wish i had read this comment before dying a boat load of times getting stuck on the jump to the safe spot!
I have the same issue whit safe spots
@@jonhfishurman203 theres 1 behind the barrel 2
@@dredgos Yea same, I couldn't jump up to the safe spot and died :/
Yea i've tried this as a gnome 4 times now and still can't jump up high enough for the 1st safe spot at the boss
i like the way u gaze into my eyes
I'm not gay but.......
This ^
Brilliant
OMG THANK YOU!!! This worked in less than 2 mins for me. This is unbelievable! This is the link to wowhead which shows the location of these. classic.wowhead.com/npc=3252/silithid-swarmer#map
So amazing lol problem with kiting is legit never getting hit so Def level is only 170 at LVL 42 loll
Did this today and worked like magic!
yeah this also saves an instance run count
This is just what i found was more reliable for me
Sure man whatever works best for you!! :)
Nice new video :)
2 things to mention for ZG GY:
1. There is also a reset spot at the beginning on the left side (opposite where you reset, where you find the basilisk) which is a must have for trolls at low levels, might also be better as would keep you closer from the other entrance
2. when aggroing the 3rd pack of zombies, you don't need to wait for the reset, you can as a troll jump without the mount to have them not being reset and start the pull faster, without even having to annoy the boss :)
This video is about to make a resurgent with SOD p3, are you playing @arlaeus?
Commenting from a TBCC view: the potions now DO share the same cooldown. So you gotta wait around 8 minutes at4:44 :( makes it quite slower to get there but oh well
Or just don't use a pot at the start, it's not hard to run past em
Thanks! helping jokered on HC servers. sent this vid. hope our doing well .From Waspire
this is gonna be a dumb question, whats the best way to get out of ZF after the kill?
Before doing any instance farming you ask someone to invite you and your alt to a group. When the run is over you log with your alt, after 2 mins the alt becomes leader, reset the dung and go again.
@@dehuc0098 legend
For those doing it in SOD P3 - don't go for either Invis pots or the wall reset. Invis pots give you only a very limited range, you end up dismounted, and, most importantly, it puts your health pot on CD. Having an extra 700-900 HP when you need it is much more useful for surviving. The wall - it's a difficult jump, and if you fail it - you die. It's MUCH easier to just keep running to the first set of boxes (second, if we count the ones that now have an invisible wall). I died many times trying to make the jump until I realized that running to the safe spot and popping a HP pot simply works.
My second mage is almost level 40, what perfect timing.
Sorry Daniel!
Do you ever find you can't loot the bodies if they die too high on the hill?
Just mount up and jump to the spot. Never had an issue no matter where they died.
Love your content. Really helps the casual mages like myself. Thanks!
Thank you!
Whats that shield you have on the side? I think its a WA script but i cant find it anywhere!
Additionally, my mana while casting with 123 Spirit and Mage Armor was 32.4 .
bruh was honestly like wtf looking at his stats compared to mind then realized the same thing
Started this today at level 40, its amazing! almost half a level per pull. 41 you notice A LOT less resists and kill time/survival feels like it went way up! Tyvm!
Invisibility Potion, Lesser Invisibility Potion, Greater Mana Potion, and probably every potion now share cd
yea which is suuuper aids. have to wait 10 mins each time for the invisibility pot
Invis and lesser invis have separate TEN MINUTE cool downs but share a TWO MINUTE potion cool down
I had to come back to this video to just say a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
For anyone attempting this nowadays, this method is not working anymore, Blizzard has made it so the mobs teleport to you if the pathing doesn't allow them to walk towards you
It does not work on the season of mastery realms, however it works on Classic Era realms.
@@Munjidk thanks my friend i was looking for this comment
It does still work on classic. I wish Arleus made it clear that you will die a ton of times before you get the hang of it and it’s not as easy as it looks, at least to the average gamer.

How would a sod version of this look like in p3 do you think? Same thing but with living bomb and flame thrown in the mix?
this is soo hard at level 40 just because when im going right after the last invis pot the mobs just resist and they never get slowed and then they daze me amd i get melted any help?
Just wait till 42
thank you for the guide.
FOR TBC side of classic
One thing I don't see mentioned anywhere but I think are important. At 5:10 as you're running down the hallway, sometimes there are patrols moving up the hallway and around the fountain. These can make surviving extremely tricky and you'll really have to pull out all the stops sometimes to avoid dying, including smart nova/Cone of Cold usage, bandaging, and sometimes using a mana gem to keep mana shield up. Also,
My favourite wipe at lvl 40 was when i was almost at the scarabs trying to keep shields and not get dazed and then randomly get converted to a frog :D
Other than that the guide is very good
Hahaha love it
I think it's a lot more safer and also quicker that at 07:35 you frost nova - blink towards the fountain to your right and jump on top of that instead. Less chance of the mobs hitting you from the side since you move away from them further. Also you can start open up the graves quicker.
9:40 at this lev you can just jump over edge to pull boss
14:00 there is better spot for blizzard, so(at higher level) you can use 2 full duration blizzards
which spot?
@@clausjensen8344 on that wall. so blizzard can last full duration, you put it that way mobs go to outer part of blizzard and go back in, not like here where you put blizzard so mobs go to center of it and turn to go out
@BaTtLeFiElD ThReELMG y
**Update for all the would-be do'ers of this method:**
Potions share a CD now. You're pretty much forced to wait the 10 mins
OR
You go B I G M O D E. Buff up, mana shield and ice barrier, mount up at the start, skip the pack on the right and just run down the hall. As you inevitably aggro things, try to jump forward and turn your char to face towards them as they swing at you (you wont get dazed if you get hit head on)
The mobs will be slowed as you run, so you maneuver around the pack thats immediately the right of the hallway without pulling them, get up the hill and jump to the first reset spot.
Damn you I just dinged 54 using the "old" starts :D
Thank you for this guide, I was able to do it consistently within 2-3 tries. I found you can even skip the first invis pot and just reset the mobs on the first highground.
"EASY and SAFE" Dont waste your gold. just wait for level 42... doable at 41
Thanks a lot for this video. I'll give it a try with my level 40 mage. I know it's gonna be tough but you are a good coach!
2:53 is almost impossible as a male troll
Thank you for this video, it was a huge help for learning this farm!
Very nice.
Thank you man!
What I learned about the first jump with the boss, is to jump on top of the square stone, if not I got stuck in between them and possibly ruin my pull. And on the 2nd turn you jump then move, not move while jumping. So just jump, then push W
Watched the original guide heaps to get the runs done. Well done on the improvements!
No man just use that trinket from badlands speed watch or something
thanks a lot for your content!
Now is there a good way to get back to the entrance when you're done with farming?

Thanks a lot but please Whats the weak aura for your Barrier?
Try an addon like Talented
Was able to do this today on my 42 human mage on TBCC. Both of those potions share the same CD. The part for zombies works great. Though getting to the zombies doesn't quite work anymore and the jump to that second safe zone isn't easy. Had to use a different video to get to the zombies.
excellent guide my friend! I managed to do this farm first try without ever doing any mage farming prior to the attempt
7:07 is it just me who can't enter this safe spot from the left side like you did? I'm a gnome mage. I was able to jump inside it from the right side from above, but now I can't get out...
never mind, I somehow scrambled myself out, and it turns out that by simply jumping and standing on top of the urn you are also in a safe spot.
Is there a trick to leaving after you finish the pull? Or you just run back the same way to the instance
thanks arlaeus it was not easy new to mage class but your videos are awsome finally done my first zf gy farm. it wasnt pretty died alot and took hours to finally get it down. ty again cant w8 to do mara and zg eventually keep up the good work .

it took me 5 hours to get my first 2-3 successful runs as a fresh, undergeared lvl 40. but I went to level 47 the same day with this farm. its incredible. also did it without invis potions - just use reset spots.
Maybe a bad seed for the run?
Awesome video. Thank you for making it

Thanks! Very helpful video :) I have one question: which addon is that one for shield durability?
Really good tutorial video, very detailed and informative. I have some game interface questions:
1. What is your camera distance setting?
2. Do you use camera smart pivot?
If you’re going to do this farm make sure u have the speed boost enchant on your boots its honestly the only way to make the wall jumps smooth i wasted a lot of time not having the enchant
Did it plenty without any enchants, the jumping is easy without it.
HELLO NICE VIDEO, what addon you use to show mana shield? thanks
I love your videos man! But what is the addon you are using for for your shields? =D
thank you i finally was able to do it after 6 fails its really hard at lower levels and mana is a huge issue but the higher i got and the more experience i got in doing this it became normal
Can you please link your shield hud weakaura
This. Is. Awesome. Thanks man!
Great video, what blizzard rank do you use for the run? Rank 1 and which other one?
R3
Is there any possibility to save yourself if your fall down the other side?
I'm finally 40 on my mage. So glad you just uploaded this! I had a 60 who promised me to get boosted from 40-42 but then he got banned after 1 day of pulling... So happy that I can continue on my own now :D
How are you going up that first wall? I've done three attempts as an undead (female), 2 without mount and 1 with mount - can't get up there. Stuck
There is a way to reset if you accidentally pull the witchdoctor by jumping up onto the brazier you can see at 13:19 and even up on top of the pillar, they can't hit you and if you're out of sight, all the mobs reset and you can go restart the pull.
Thanks for this one! Works perfectly :)
