Here's a tip for the last hoodoo pile you showed us. You can run up the mountainside as you did, mount up and jump on the pillar then make it to the 2nd story safe spot from there.

Is this the best solo gold farming method as a mage? I sell extended Mara runs for 14g. Plus I get Elemental Earth from the Mara pull. My build I use on my Extended Maraudon video is the same one I use here. Also, glad the videos help 😁
@@ChrisP-TV Okay finally got around to trying this. is there a trick to jumping over the tree branch at the end on the second to last slow fall? you slow fall into the water, blink, then get to the branch and jump over. I've been getting stuck on my jumps a few times. this is the jump at 5:51.
A lot of times the mobs are not turning around either, on the bridge. They are just coming towards me and killing me. Anyone knows what causes this? It's really weird. I am doing the jump always the same way, but a lot of times they just don't turn around..
I honestly HATE having to learn the "awesome new strat" every week. Not only is it hard for me to find the most up to date content, but I've even run into boosters that will comment on your runs that you aren't doing X Y or Z to get them more exp. You doing the mara 180 pull? Nah man, its all about the 230 pull now! idgaf, I spent the time to learn THIS one! lol
There is actually a really easy way to get out from the left side of the temple, just mount up and jump in between the root and the cliff. You can also jump on top of the pillar and back to the temple if you have epic mount
Hi Mate, what could be the reason for the big Troll Mob standing left to the Stairs heading to Hakkar, being chain pulled by crocs. Am i too fast when running? and how is it possible to sustain shields further than jumping after you pick up the tigers?
Hey Vendical, I'm very experienced with these boosts now but every now and then. I somehow pull the berserkers or the son of hakkars at the steps before hakkar. Why is that? The crocodiles just decide to go up the ramp for some reason.
@@ChrisP-TV I did in Sm Cath, is almost the same thing without it actually, but need a lil bit more coordination to dont mess it up since Morgraine is hitting you all the time.

You charge 20g a run when boosting this. People have to go somewhere after Mara. This is the place if you're by yourself. If you have another mage strat is better
I got the pull down to science and manage to exactly pull the packs perfectly clumped up and everything. But I fail everytime on the bridge. Either I fall down or I don't jump "high" enough and the mobs still keep coming etc.. I wasted already around 400g on this.. keeps getting very frustrating. Any tips?
@@ChrisP-TV I tried two things: 1) activating the slow walk function, positioning myself right side of the spot where you have to jump, then pressing strafe left + jumping 2) "normal" walk function: just try to jump on it like this, pressing left strafe + jump both result in either falling down or not being on the "right", high enough spot of the bridge
The center of the bridge is the lowest point so that works best for gnomes. Depending on your race go further up the bridge until you find the right spot
Hi - I am having a rare problem where a Berserker or Son of Hakar patrol pulls from the alter when you blink through the tree root in the water. It seems that the tigers/crocodiles path through the Berserker/Sons. This happens maybe 1 out of 10 pulls, any idea how I can fix this?
Im just practicing this and this about the 4th time another beserker has fucked me over near the start point. i wait for the first one to pat and theres a random second one near the cubs/tigers
I got it a couple times but the problem is if you wipe, and run back in and even if that first berserker is where it should be, everything else is FUCKED. I keep trying after a wipe, but either the zerkers are all wonky, OR the stupid sons of hakkar are right near the ledge by the tree to tele through, tough times man. you almost have to get it right first time you step in, everytime. I think you gotta reset instance each time you wipe..?
Hey! Great video. I have mastered the pull, except sometimes when I reset and am in a fresh instance, the zerker is pathing in the OPPOSITE direction. I have had times when I am in a fresh instance and I get to that croc pack and when I go up, he's right there and I have to jump early which can be sketchy. If he is patting the opposite direction as is in this video, does this mean that he'll be there when I run up the mountain before jumping off?
Wait for them to get closer before you pull the crocs on the side of the temple. That way they're already starting their pathing towards you before you blink through the tree
When I blink through the tree and wait for them, a part of the pull always walks right of the tree, meaning on the temple, sometimes pulling the beserker. How exactly do I avoid that. Where exactly do I have to wait longer? Thanks in advance :)
Yes it is. You can do this run naked. The kill phase will be a lot slower because you will be regaining mana a lot and rank 1 blizzarding but it is doable for sure
Items help but dont really matter. I can do this run naked. The talent tree is the exact same as my extended mara video. Just didn't include it because I didnt change anything
You say 8 minutes is enough for the pull, but sometimes you have to wait for the other berserker so long that by the time you get back, the first one is already right in the spot you're supposed to pass through.
@@moflames12 If you check the timer on his shield when he initiates his pull, you will see that once he makes the first jump which requires slow fall at 4:09, his shields are down to a 22 second duration, starting at 60 seconds. Mage slow fall lasts for 30 seconds, meaning if he used mage slow fall with light feathers before initiating the pull, his slow fall would have been down for 8 seconds when he needed it, and he would have to dismount to apply a new one. The Noggenfogger slow fall lasts for 120 seconds though. While it is true that the pull CAN be done without being mounted at that point of the pull, being mounted when running around those packs of crocs makes the pull a lot easier. You would be able to jump, dismount and slow fall to the other side, but then you would have to run on foot through the packs, and there is no way you would be able to do the corner jump as you would need slow fall to first get to the camp, and also need the mounted speed to go from camp to the corner. So him saying that it's because of a shortage in light feathers, doesn't seem like the actual reason to me. Good video nonetheless.
Each mob gives 4 rep and the first pull is anywhere from 48-52 mobs and the trolls are up to 16 mobs. So ideally you have 63 mobs at 4 rep per so 252 exp is a close rough estimate
I used the same spec as my extended mara video. I didn't want to waste people's time because it was the same one. In retrospec I should have touched on it briefly

Sure thing! I try and keep it as uncut as possible. I just try and touch on important info when it's relevant during the pull

I’ve only just mastered SM 1 pulls and now I’m watching ZG pulls 😂 I hope I can do this in the future

Are you jumping short or going over?

Yes you can not blink through the tree and jump up by the root. I am making a video on how to deal with this and a few other problems

Once you are up on the bridge and do your blizzard rota you could also apply magicarmor instead of icearmor ;=)
Great guide, but one thing that would make it better would be if it was real time, so you could follow it while learning the jump.

The amount of mana I receive from is vs the cost isnt worth it. You can do it if you want that's entirely up to you

The Soulflayer pack keeps one shotting me from 100% + full shields to dead.
Then just keep him polymorphed and when you go to the starting position just poly a critter to get the soul flayer out of poly
