      Akua Rita I took it for about a month. But the first day I took it I felt a difference it works pretty fast. At first I took how much it said on the bottle, but on days where my anxiety or depression was really bad I took up to 12,000mg, I just kept taking it until I felt better. Now I feel better and I only take what the bottle says or sometimes more depending on the day. I use the liquid kind from the brand herb pharm. I hope it helps you! 😘

    Ever since I started taking Ashwagandha, I feel soo calm and stress free. I don't get morning anxieties anymore. I grew a thick beard because of the testosterone boost. I have been working out as a boxer, and I have grown some muscles as I noticed tones over my body. I didn't worry too much about what people thought of me because the anxiety is almost completely gone. I was about to ask out a girl at work smoothly and successfully.

    Ive been taking the root powder for 3-4 weeks now. I was waking up crying every morning an unbelievable sadness. I realized this morning that I haven’t had those tears for over a week now and my mood is lifted to a much calmer state. My temper is not flaring and my stress level is way down. Very pleased

      Husband and i went plant based a little over a year ago. It’s been a year of phasing out oils and sugars and the occasional eggs or fish. I just gave up my Greek yogurt last month so we are almost 100%

    I've been on this for a little over a week, and I saw results almost immediately. I work a high demand, stressful job and I find myself working the same pace, but without the stress. I'll continue to use this. I started with gummies, but switched to stronger capsules. As a side effect, the lower stress left me with more energy which translates to increase in exercise.

    The day I took first pill of Ashwagandha...i had energy to do 5 sets of pushups whereas i used to do 3sets maxxx....also keeps me mentally light....now I don't crave for alcohols...and sexual health....omg!!.... thanks to Ashwagandha

    i’ve been taking this before sleeping 2 months on and 1 month off as i heard you need it to keep your tolerance down, and my sleep quality has improved so much. i don’t wake up in the middle of the night anymore, my dreams feel more vivid and much longer, and when i wake up i don’t feel absolutely dead tired still despite sleeping 7-8 hours already.

    You realize most of these benefits come from the fact that testosterone levels are increased. Testosterone does ALL of these things you mentioned, and ironically Ashwagandha is proven to increase testosterone.

      @@arkansas_native86 It's not always that fast. It was at that point when my anxiety was at a 10/10 but in other cases I notice a difference in how I can relax my mind. The type of ashwagandha might make a difference as well. Some is best to take in the day and some is best for night.

    I take one magnesium (500mg) and a little less than 800mg of Ashwaghanda at night and it helps so much with sleep and relaxation. :)

      It's the capsule lining that cause bloating, not ashwagandha. Try eating some plain yoghurt, not the sugary ones.

      Ayurveda suggests to stop anything beyond 2 months. Routine must be paused (or switch with other alternatives in case of daily stuff like tooth paste). Applies to tooth paste or food or medicine. It's suggested to consider consultation for a long usage.

    Omg!! This is a miracle pill. I use to have the worst PMS, and always get the worse case of emotional rollercoaster prior to but I’ve been on it for a week and half and I just realized how balanced I feel even though im approaching that time of the month! Very very very happy.

    Have been taking Ashwaganda over the past year now and found it to be fantastic! Great for C-PTSD/anxiety/depression but didn't know that it was also good for muscle strength as well. As a former fitness trainer/weight lifter with a mild form of MS I found this very interesting since my quads aren't as strong as they use to be now that I'm 71 years old! When I was a fitness trainer I leg pressed 400 lbs in my late 40s. So I'm hoping this will help me as I continue to weight train but I use much lighter weights now! I'm always telling everyone about this great herb...hasn't been around for 5000 years for nothing! Much better than Prozac with it's potentially lethal side effects! Thanks for sharing~ "knowledge is power"!

      @@shoaibb8862 Well, haven't been taking it lately considering all the controversy surrounding it, but it did seem to help! What really helps is brilliant scientist Clinton Ober's grounding mat and he's worked with hundreds of thousands of people with MS who have also gotten really great results, better sleep, less depression and anxiety and less pain since it's an anti-inflammatory! Thanks for your input as well. Unfortunately, there are so many conflicting reports these days on the internet! And most allopathic conventional doctors don't know much about herbs and some not even about proper nutrition since traditionally they get about 35 hours of nutrition in medical school. That maybe changing, hopefully!

    I have just started taking Ashwagandha recently and am amazed how it has improved my sleep.
    Fit bit says I am in the excellent range. Before 5.5 to 6.5 hours a night , now 7-8 hours . WOW !

    I just started taking this after a thyroid flare up that was so bad it hurt to swallow because my thyroid swelled into my throat painfully.
    In less than 2 days all the swelling went down and am now pain free. Plus my stress levels have gone down, even though we had a major stressful event this week. I am regaining energy and mental clarity and sleeping better.
    This has been like a miracle for me personally and I am so thankful for it. Thank you for sharing this information.

    This seems to work for me. Taking it about 10 days, and my stress and anxiety levels are much lower. It is coinciding with a general change of lifestyle including exercise, better diet and some other supplements but Ashwagandha is the only one I haven't tried before, so I think it is the key to better feeling. Definitely going to continue taking it.

    I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now. I have been a chronic weed smoker for 10 years, I’ve noticed about 3 years ago that my nerves would go haywire. And then realized this has always been happening when I smoke. I did research on marijuana and notice it throws the nerves off track. Since taking ashwagandha my nerves have been calming Slowly, my insomnia isn’t as bad and I haven’t had the urge to smoke weed. I’m not saying weed is bad, but the long term effects have a downside to it.

    Root powder extract with standarized 1,5% whitanolide. That's 7,5mg. A good dose is between 15 and 30 mg whitanolide. So how much you need to take totally depends on the percentage.

    I dont know or may be will notice soon other benefits,,, I only started taking it since 2 days and noticed had great sleep, got up Fresh in good mood ,,, I think in many cases sleep plays major roles. I like to try it more. Dont know about the Proper dosage But I took half tea spoon in a glass of water good thing is Its easy to dissolve :-)

    Hi-interesting that there are some studies behind this for these claims. I do wish that it was studied against an SSRI or benzo for activity in anxiety and depression. Also, side effects? Dosage amounts? Co-medicine interactions?

    Cool vid., Found an old article on cortisol, as we age it uses muscle and bone as energy while leaving us fat. Kinda explains why people shrink as they age and remain kinda overweight..... Stress. Stress is always a key to harmful health but not commonly approached by physicians. A strong anti stress supplement is a good thing

    You mention 400 mg, but how much if using the powdered root? I'm currently taking 1 teaspoon daily in water.
    Edit: I looked elsewhere and found that one teaspoon is approximately equivalent to 300 mg.
